Reporting Services Configuration Manager is not connecting, it is integrated in SharePoint 2010 - sharepoint-2010

I have a sharepoint 2010 portal with some dashboards and reports. No I have a permission problem, because I cannot view these reports.
I would like to have a look in Reporting Services Configuration Manager, but I cannot connect to the server where sharepoint and SQL server is installed. I enter the server name and press on find. It gives me the following error:
Unable to connect to the Report Server MYSERVERNAME.
By the way, I try to fix this problem:
AccessDeniedException: The permissions granted to user
'Mydomain\MyUserAccount' are insufficient for performing this
operation.

First off, you probably want to be using SharePoint Central Administration, not RS Configuration Manager. Also, RS Configuration Manager isn't where you'd manage access to report objects.
That said:
Try remoting into the host machine and running the tool locally on the server.
Ensure the proper ports are open for you to be connecting remotely (and that they SHOULD be open - there are very valid security reasons to block them)
Are you 100% certain you're connecting to the right address? Is it possible the SSRS service itself is on a different machine than the Sharepoint service and the SQL server?

QMC server Issue:Not allow to open any tab of QVS#servername

I have a problem with QMC server.It is showing below error while trying to open the folder under: System > Setup > Management Servers > Qlikview Servers > QVS#nameserver.
Error:
Failed to retrieve settings from QlikView Server.
Make sure that the QVS is available with the correct credentials.
The Qlikview services are running under different account (Administarator account) and the QMC server in which i'm trying to access QVS and getting error is under different account (my account). But both the accounts are under QV administrator group.
Is it mandatory to access QMC with the same account which we are using to run Qlikview services?
Currently, Qlikview services are running with administrator account. So can i change it to run under my account? will it cause any error in future if i change the account for the services which are running?
Please go to services and be sure that all services are running. In service properties you can set which account is running service:
QMC is console not server so it shouldn't matter.
When you go to Qlikview Servers in QMC, don't go to your server but check list of servers there. QMC which is handled by "Qlikview Managment Service" is communicating with Qlikview Server Service" on port 4747. So on your server list you should have qvp://SERVER_NAME you can check with telnet connection to SERVER_NAME on 4747

Can't interact with database when published to azure

Below is the steps i have took to publish my Website to Azure. I have two data connections the "defaultconnection" for users tables log in register etc. The other is a connection to an Azure Sql Database.
On Azure i created a new app service.
In Visual Studio i click on project and select publish.
In the publish Web window that pops up i select Microsoft Azure Web Apps.
In the following window i select the app service i created in Azure.
In the settings window it shows the two connection database connections.
They both have the same connection string which is the Azure hosted Database. I am not sure what to change the connection string to for the users table. I created a SQL database in azure and connected that to the app service then used that connection string for the "defaultconnection". The string is below

I published to azure and am able to go through the pages but as soon as i try to interact with the database i get an internal server error 500.
I tried publishing the website without userlogin so i could see if it connected to the Azure sql database but i still get the internal server error 500. I am really stuck at this point and any assistance would be helpful.
So i changed the firewall settings to allow certain IP address and it worked. I can access both my databases.

Connecting to a SQL Server with SQL Server Managament Studio

I have looked everywhere on Stack Overflow and I have not found an answer that closely compares to my scenario, so please bear with me.
The issue is I was recently given a development server at work and I have to migrate my current project (which I have on SQL Server Management Studio running on SQL Server Express) so that it is hosted on that server. I was just given the server name and authorized access to it. So I can connect to it through Remote Desktop Connection (RDC), but I am clueless as to where to go from here.
I have tried going in through RDC and opening Management Studio from there but when plugging in my server name and using Windows Authentication it doesn't let me in. And I can't use SQL Server Authentication because I'd have to be actually in to be able to create an SQL login.
How can I connect to this server through Management Studio?
The server is in the same network? In the management studio, in server name, you can put a IP address or computer name.
Do you know if SQL is even installed on the server you are tasked to deploy to? You are able to "connect" to SQL Express locally because the instance is installed on your local machine. You will need an instance of SQL installed on the remote machine to be able to use SSMS to connect to the remote instance.
If you are attempting to connect to an already created DB that you have been using the credentials are the same, if you know the address and you have the ports opened on your computer to allow the connection. If you are going to start a new DB on the server, then you will have to connect via AD credentials IF your admin has given you the proper access. I personally suggest using AD credentials to create connections, it's just a lot more secure.
If you are trying to connect to the local db, then it should be on the drop down list on the log in screen.
You are going to have to talk with your admin who set it up if you are still having problems.
You might have to Enter your Server Details in the Hosts File on the Current Application Server
For Accessing Hosts File,
Go to Run and type drivers and Hit Enter. Go to the etc Folder and you will see hosts file in the Folder.
At the End of the File Enter the Server IP And Server Name
Save the file and try Logging into the Server Management Studio again

Problems with simultaneous ODBC connection to web server hosting pages

I have an issue with a SQL Server Express install. I have a test server set up called ASPDEMO running server03, IIS6, SSEE08R2. MgmtStudio installed.
When I access the web site from a computer on the LAN all is well, I can login to the site and hit the db with no problem.
If I try to set up an ODBC connection to ASPDEMO I can connect and link to tables from Access for example, no problem.
But I can't do both at the same time.
Any ideas?
In Management Studio, connect to the database and right-click on the instance. Choose Properties. When the Server Properties window pops up, Click Connections in the list on the left and check the maximum number of connections allowed. Maybe it is set to 1.

CF9 + SQL Server Express

I just created a new database in "Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio Express" and now I'm in "ColdFusion Administrator" and I'm trying to add my database as a Data Source. How do I do that? I believe the servername is .\SQLEXPRESS but I'm not sure what the default username and password are. I've tried creating a new login through Management Studio with an actual username and password, but those aren't working either. The error I'm getting is:
Connection verification failed for data source: xxx
java.sql.SQLNonTransientConnectionException: [Macromedia][SQLServer JDBC Driver]The requested instance is either invalid or not running.

I can see that the service is running, and I can connect to it through management studio. I've tried following a couple tutorials online, but they don't seem to be working for me. Ideas?
Server name can be any resolvable hostname or domain name, in case of having SQL Server and CF server on same box localhost should work for you.
Also make sure that user you created has access to the particular database and needed operations. Look into the database permissions for this. This check is not required when using master account (often login is sa), but this is not recommended practice because of the security reasons.
Also make sure SQL Server and Windows Authentication mode is checked. I had an issue with permissions as well when I only had Windows Authentication enabled under:
right click on server (localhost) -> security
Then restart SQL Server Services to save changes. After that I was able to connect my ColdFusion datasource to SQL Server.
For testings sake use the same credentials that you are connected with in Management Studio, likely the "sa" user and password. Once you have it working with "sa" then go back into Management Studio and create an application level user for your CF app and then update the data source to use your new user / password.
