I upgraded my environment to v5.0.6. Problem is that everytime i start Eclipse it does this:
[2013-04-19 18:38:41] FWLST1017I: [AppShell] upgraded to the latest
platform version.
When this upgrade takes place, it reverts my templates and adds class files to the iphone\native folder and removes the plugins I configured in the shell:
Removes all my custom plugins from components/AppShell/iphone/native/Classes
Resets project.pbxproj.wltemplate.wluser to stock removing includes for my classes
Resets config.xml.wluser removing all mappings to my plugins
It also always shows at the end of the upgrade process:
Failed to upgrade Worklight project 'AppMobile' to the latest platform
version. [null]
Is that why it keeps running the upgrade and reverting my changes?
According to your question, you have some .wluser files, which means that something is wrong with your project.
Can you please let me know whether the problem still exists and whether you still have those files in you project?

I'm working on multiple projects at the same time which are inter dependent. Sometimes, when one developer pushes updates to one project (for example Liquibase changes), they are picked up by my IntelliJ which immediately complains about missing columns when I restart the project. I did not explicitly issue any fetch/pull or update request against the remote repository. This is kind of annoying because I am then forced to pull all the new changes locally.
I remember my old IntelliJ version behaving normally (2019) so this is a new "feature" I guess? How can I disable it?
Could you please share screenshots of an issue? IDE doesn't run pull/fetch or upgrade automatically if you are using Git, but there is a chance that you may have Git Toolbox plugin installed and it has a feature for Auto-fetch and you need to disable it in settings
In my project even if i change my server host using build settings and deploy target , the client properties does not change in the wlClient.properties file , however the context path changes to new one, the server host url is pointing to my local host now ,also one thing i have noted that wlBuildId this property is missing in the file
My version is :7.1.0.00.20150901-2103
What i have done :
Changed the server url in Right click > Run As > Build setting and Deploy target and rebuild the project even after rebuilding the wlClient.properties file the wlServerHost property doesn't change
Attached the settings screen along with this
I finally tracked down the problem , actually it was a bug in the build i have installed.
I installed the mobile first plugin from eclipse market which was of version 7.1.0.00.2015 which has the bug, then i removed the plugin and downloaded the package from IBM Mobile firsts website which was of build version 7.1.0.00.2016 which has the fix for this bug and it is rectified now.
The point to note is that the package in the eclipse's market has to be changed to the new build in which the issue is fixed.
Thank you
Whenever I try to move a file into a project I have in IDEA it freezes up after displaying the the move file dialog. I've tried searching around but haven't found anything helpful.
I had the same issue while using an EAP release version. The milestone release did not behave like that.
Here is more info on the subject from JetBrains: Please note that EAP builds are not officially supported. Please use released versions from http://www.jetbrains.com/idea/download/index.html if you want stable functioning.
Could be related to https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-145305 .
ruku, I'm not sure if the EAP build was your problem, but if you're like me and are using a stable build and cannot upgrade (compatibility issues with others on my project), I recommend the workaround of just creating a new file and pasting the file content in there. It's not very elegant, and requires manual refactoring for any files already referenced within the project, but since you're moving a file into the project you shouldn't have that issue.
Like sday, it happened to me when moving a file within the project. I am not using an EAP Build. I am using 14.1.4, build #IC-141.15.32 build on June 18, 2015. I installed on 2015-09-05 from the main JetBrains page that sday mentioned. I'm using osx 10.11.1.
I installed the KVM using command line and my web project in VS2015 preview broke not compiling, but if add a new web project all works fine, how do uninstall the KVM so I can get my old project working. In this video Scott mention the issue but no solution, please see link, the video mention the issue at the 8:00 minute

NuGet Settings
I believe your versions are out of sync. Check your project.json and make sure you are not using different versions. I found that when I had 1 dependency that used 3.0.0-* it upgraded to beta2 from beta1. All of my other dependencies had beta1 actually defined. (Ex: 1.0.0-beta1). If the beta2 assembly shares the same dependency as one of your assemblies using beta1 it will override the older version of the shared assembly that is being used and causes your older version to fail.
You can remove any KRE package by deleting it from c:\Users\<user>\.kre\packages\. If you want to remove KRE and KVM then remove both the .kre folder completely.
However, you don't have to remove it to use a different version. You can either use kvm use <version> or, from VS, select the target framework in the project properties.
I have similar issue and I solved it by following steps.
In NUget Package Manager I selected only one nuget.org ( Disable myget.org by unselecting it)
I goto C:\Users\<>.kre\alias directory. Here you will find default.txt and I replace default.txt value with KRE-CLR-x86.1.0.0-beta1 ( If you downloaded latest version of Kre then this file change and it create problem for VS 2015 Preview)
After this close your solution and open it again. If possible then open as Administrator.
I hope this works for you as well.
I have been using Eclipse Helios/Luna with plugin installation of clearcase plugin 8.0.1.x version and have imported the base code.
Recently, when trying to change the config-spec to update the build files, the process is running for hours continuously even without a single file.
Previously, we had Clearcase version as 7.0.x version and the corresponding plugin installed on Eclipse Helios without facing any issues.
But, have been facing issues during update of files after the upgrade of clearcase server to 8.0.x and with the corresponding client plugin in eclipse.
Also, tried manual update from repository for the whole folder. Still no luck.
But, if I know manually update the file one by one individually, it is going fine.
As the number of files in the project is more, it would not be efficient for us.
Can someone provide some alternatives to resolve this problem?
As a workaround, we have been creating new views everytime there is an update to the config-spec.
One workaround would be to switch to dynamic views, supported in the latest 8.x version of ClearTeam/ClearCase. No reload needed with those kind of views.
The other would be to test with a minimal config spec, and load rules making sure you are loading only as few files as possible (jsut to check that those files do update when you change the config spec).
It can also depends on the exact version of your ClearCase installation.
There are some patches for hanging issue (like "PM48668 Problem: The IBM Rational ClearTeam Explorer may hang intermittently when many views are started.")
