1.server-client architecture. all users sync(submit or checkout) documents from one local server(linux server, not windows).
2.with windows and linux client. the client will save all documents synced from the server locally. So when the users goe to places where they can not connect to the server, they still can view and edit their own copy of documents.
users commit their changes, the dms solve the conflicts like "git" or "svn". but great and complicated version control system is not needed.
client should have fulltext search features.
At last, i wonder what document management system do those system administrators use.
Thanks
Finally, i determine to use mailing list to store documents.
(1)we all members of our team can sync docs from server.
(2)we can keep docs in series, so easy to maintain
(3)we can find all clients all though those platforms, like linux, windows, mac os x etc

I’m writing an app that has users belonging to specific teams. I need somewhere to store, access and modify data (such as username, password, teamID, and a few other details) from within Godot, preferably using GDScript
I’ve tried using things like Lootlocker but it wasn’t right for my project. I’ve also tried setting up a SQL database using freesqldatabase.com however I can’t work out how to run SQL queries from within Godot. If it helps, I am able to access my database using the phpMyAdmin website.
Please note this can’t be a local database as I need to be able to access the data from any device where the app is installed.
I really appreciate any information you think might be helpful, thanks.

I am not an expert in servers or databases, but I have the following question.
I want to create a database online, containing basic data, that is needed for my app. I don't want to write to the database from the app at all, but read from it.
Is there any service where I can build a database online, simply without programmatic code. I am looking for a service that basically will be like excel, easy to make some tables with values, easy to change data when necessary. All the dealing with the database can be online, in a easy interface. I just need to request the data from the app, and it will be sent from the server as a json or something.
Is there any service like this?
Thanks
You can do this task with the help of phpMyAdmin.
Nowadays, most web hosting providers also provide service for database hosting service.
Whenever you choose a website hosting service, you can make a database from their cPanel and then handle it using phpMyAdmin. This tool lets you configure your databse properly with the GUI functions.

So let me try to explain what i want. I search a lot on the internet but i did not find. So i want an hyper-visor bare-metal. All i want is something like Vmware but to be installed on bare-metal, not on some platform host.
I find Xenserver but you cannot access the interface of virtual machines from the same machine. (You should use Xencenter to access it).
I do not have two machines, and i want to know if somebody have an idea about some technology.
So, seems like you do not have any restrictions about technologies and hypervisors providers , I can advise you then to use Hyper-v of Microsoft but to use it as a bare-metal hypervisor you should install Windows Server (or the System Center Manager) before, then activate the Hyper-v role on it and Reboot.. here is a tuto , check it maybe that will help you : http://www.altaro.com/hyper-v/install-hyper-v-bare-metal/

I'm in charge of renovating an old system that has to synchronize identities between multiple kinds of LDAP servers: Active Directory, OpenLDAP, ApacheDS.
I also need to do some attribute translation, and implement basic scripting in order to populate given attributes with semantic data (e.g. originating partner).
We used to do that with Maxware software, not sold anymore.
I have in Mind the Microsoft Forefront Identity Manager --> too heavy!
Also, Directory Wizards's "UnitySync" Tool might help --> far too basic...
Any ideas?
Most of the Identity Management products on the market will have the ability to synchronize identities between different directory services and vendors.
ForgeRock OpenIDM is one of them.
Alternately, you might want to take a look at lsc-project.org, which is just an open source LDAP synchronization tool, however, I don't know how it works with more than 2 sources to synchronize.

Does anybody know if autotrader.com offers an API or something that would help with mass postings of vehicles?
Or does anybody have any idea of what to use to create something like this? I was thinking of maybe a mouse location and click over a browser window type of thing.
AutoTrader provides a bulk upload feature through a file feed process. The file runs through a set of processes to associate it with the proper listing tier (Premium, Feature or Standard) and in addition normalizes the information across vehicle make and models. This process runs several times daily and is being migrated to a near real-time solution for quicker add or updates.
I can find no documentation on it but I've come across this link which seems to provide a json response.
