I'm working on a project that requires downloading a list of users from a server —JSON data created from a PHP script that reads a MySQL database— and I would like to inform the user of the progress of the request but onDownloadProgressChanged: never gets called when sending a GET request through operationWithPath:params:httpMethod:ssl: and I don't know if that is an intended behavior or not.

Should onDownloadProgressChanged: be called when I send a GET request with operationWithPath:params:httpMethod:ssl: or is it only called when downloading a file using addDownloadStream:?
Whenever I send a POST request with a file attached through addData: method of MKNetworkOperation the onUploadProgressChanged: method get called accordingly.

I had the same problem because missed something like the following MKNetworkEngine initializing in the main class:

I have one POST call related to search.It is like I am sending some data as parameters to call and some in payload.after getting 302 it gets redirected.But the issue is once it gets redirected,POST call gets converted to GET call and payload is lost.As a result I am unable to get desired search result.Is there anything related to config that I might be missing??
Yes this is the correct behavior. Sounds like you need to disable automatic re-directs for this test, see configure. You can do:
* configure followRedirects = false
And then get the redirect location manually as follows:
* def location = responseHeaders['Location'][0]

I am trying to produce a request using afnetworking in objective c, however, it seems like the hardware that I am trying to connect to only applies requests when the parameters of the request are in a specific order. So I am wondering if there is a way to make the request so that the parameters are in a specific order. (As just doing it normally seems to jumble the sequence of the params up)
Here's my code:

It actually goes to success every time, its just that the request I had applied would be practically ignored.
The actual request body becomes something like "param3=bla3¶m1=bla1¶m2=bla2 etc which would be ignored as it seems.
You can't do that using the request manager in the way you currently are.
Instead, you would need to create the parameter list yourself, and then create a request from that. Then you could use AFN to handle the request transmission and response.
Note that the server shouldn't require a specific order and that this should be changed if possible. Note also that the dictionary of parameters has no order (even though you add the keys in a set order).
Keeping the order of the parameters have a great impact on server performance. This sounds silly at first, but just think about GET requests which contain the query string as part of the URL. Web servers can cache the response for the given URL. If you mess with the order of the parameters, the cache won't be as effective as it could be.
The case is even worse if you call an API from different platforms (iOS, Android, Web) and they all reorder the params, which means that the same content will be found on 3 different cache keys.
Keeping the order is a performance issue at the first place.
I'm trying to use the http://Astrid.com API, specifically to get data using the method under the "Request Format" section on this page - http://astrid.com/apidoc/file.README.html
The URL I built is:

And it returns this:

Seems like it worked, but does anyone know why the "list" array might be returning empty? I've created a bunch of tasks in my profile so it should be showing those.

You need to sign in first with the method user_signin. If successful you get a token.
Then you need to call the task_list method providing the token.
You do not need to provide a user id with the task_list method. It is only used to select tasks that you share with this user.

I am using Koala gem and in my UI i have an share link. How can i share the posts using the post id. Can it be done like this.

It gives the following error
Koala::Facebook::ClientError: type: OAuthException, code: 240, message: (#240) Requires a valid user is specified (either via the session or via the API parameter for specifying the user. [HTTP 403]
I thing something going wrong with permission. I have added the following permission in the fave bool app
"share_item,manage_pages,publish_stream,read_stream,offline_access,create_event,read_insights, manage_notifications"

The first parameter in put_object is not the post ID, but the ID of who is sharing it, be it a page or user.
So instead of saying:
#graph.put_object(params[:post_id] ...
You would say:
//the current user
#graph.put_object('me' ...
or
//any user that you have a UID for
#graph.put_object(#user.uid ...
or
//a page that you have post permissions for
#graph.put_object(#facebook_page.id ...
Also in a future version of Koala, put_object will be a bit different, and you should go ahead and switch over to put_connection.
In my Project i am using YiiMail extension to send mail to the users. in which i am attaching a file. but the problem is its not possible to send the mail using the attachment. my mail code is given below.

with this code the mail is not sending and error message is showing.
Argument 1 passed to Swift_Mime_SimpleMessage::attach() must implement interface Swift_Mime_MimeEntity, instance of CUploadedFile given
what is reason this error is showing and any solution for this.

You need to convert your file attachment to a SwiftMailer Swift_Mime_MimeEntity type. CUploadedFile::getInstanceByName('fileupload') returns a CUploadedFile class, which SwiftMailer does not know how to handle. More on Swift attachments here.
I have not tested this, but you will need to do something like this:
$uploadedFile = CUploadedFile::getInstanceByName('fileupload'); // get the CUploadedFile
$uploadedFileName = $uploadedFile->tempName; // will be something like 'myfile.jpg'
$swiftAttachment = Swift_Attachment::fromPath($uploadedFileName); // create a Swift Attachment
$this->email->attach($swiftAttachment); // now attach the correct type
