Is there any PDF writer for Windows 8 / Metro Application? I am developing a Windows 8 App and looking for a library that can generate PDF documents programmatically which can be used to print or email.
iTextSharp is a C# port of a Java library called iText. Most of the updated documentation you'll find on the web will be in Java, but the API remains basically the same.
See this Hello World example. Many others can be found here (or you can browse them sorted by keyword).
EDIT : it looks like some dependencies can't be fullfilled in the Metro env, so iTextSharp won't be a solution.

Microsoft proposed XPS, how its status compared to PDF? Is there any advantage of XPS over pdf?
XPS has almost no support outside of Microsoft Office apps. It is difficult to even view an XPS file on a non-Windows machine. PDF is supported everywhere (it's supported by OS X and iOS natively, even!), there are many PDF viewers and generators originating from multiple vendors, and the format overall has clearly retained its title as the de facto standard.

I have an App that is translated to four languages. I find that updating and maintaining the strings files extremely tedious.
Is there a way to edit different translations side by side similar to what IntelliJ provides:
(source: jetbrains.com)
I would also be happy with a simply MS-Excel to Strings conversion script, where the Excel would be the master and the .strings files would be generated.
These apps saved me from a world of hurt. There's no guide, so you'd have to figure it out yourself. The apps are free though and very well designed.

My company use a tool called Localization Helper from Mac App Store. I reckon it's pretty good.
How about Linguan?

I need Flash-supporting Xcode source code. Where can I find this?
Is there source code for a converter that takes .swf or .flv and changes it to .mp4 file format?
Some applications support Flash animation on iPhone, such as Puffin Web Browser. Thanks.
Not sure I understand, but do you intend to write a flash application for iOS? if so, it will never work... iOS does not support Flash... and technically, Flash is dying ...
as far as my knowledge iPhone doesn't support the flash

Can somebody tell me the best iPhone wireframe creator software?
You could try
It does sketchy wireframes and High Res ones depending on what you’re after and can turn them into an interactive prototype too. It will also export the coordinates of all the screen elements to a Word doc
UxToolbox
Try iPlotz. Look for other tools here
Here is a great free to to prototype iphone apps http://www.justinmind.com/prototyper/free-edition it's completely free and great to build clickable mockups for web and mobile apps. It has a good collaboration feature as well.

We need to create a basic PDF reader running on J2ME. While there are several PDF libraries for Java, I'm not sure whether they support J2ME.
Does anyone know a working J2ME PDF library? If not, why it's so hard to make it?
You may use JPedal for Java ME. You can find details here.
