I have successfully set up a dropbox API (using Spring.Social.DropBox) and am trying to programmatically search my dropbox folder. How do I specifiy a query that can return more than one file type?
DropboxServiceProvider ^dropboxServiceProvider = gcnew Spring::Social::Dropbox::Connect::DropboxServiceProvider(appKey, appSecret, Spring::Social::Dropbox::Api::AccessLevel::AppFolder);
IDropbox ^dropboxApi = dropboxServiceProvider->GetApi(myAccessToken, myAccessSecret);
System::String ^pth = "TestFolder";
System::String ^qry = ".txt";
System::Collections::Generic::IList<Spring::Social::Dropbox::Api::Entry^> ^results = dropboxApi->Search(pth, qry);
The above code works when the querty specifies just one file type (.txt, .png). But how do I construct a query to retrieve multiple file types? I have tried
System::String ^qry = ".txt;.png";
System::String ^qry = ".{txt|png}";
System::String ^qry = ".txt?.png";
Any idea how to do this?
The Dropbox API does not currently support regex queries or any sort of boolean operators like this, so this isn't currently possible. You can get all files of any type with a given name, or all files of a given type by searching for the respective name or type alone, but you can't search for multiple values on a single call. (One workaround may be to make the relevant calls and combine the results together.)

With Kusto's externaldata operator, I am able to load a text file from my website:
let appUsers = externaldata(userId:string)['https://www.mybusiness.com/files/salesforce-guid.txt'];
However I need to manipulate the URL string based on differing factors. When I try moving the URL into a variable, Kusto gives me syntax errors ( expected ']' )
let url = 'https://www.mybusiness.com/files/salesforce-guid.txt';
let appUsers = externaldata(userId:string)[url]; // syntax err
Is there a way for Kusto to load externaldata from a variable URL?
Such functionality doesn't exist.
You can suggest it on https://aka.ms/adx.uservoice
is there a way to extract only IPv4 from a file in JSON language using VB.net
For example I would like that when I open a JSON file from VB I can filter only IPv4 from this text for example: https://pastebin.com/raw/S7Vnnxqa
& i expect the results like this https://pastebin.com/raw/8L8Ckrwi i founded this website that he offer a tool to do that https://www.toolsvoid.com/extract-ip-addresses/ i put the link here to understand more what i mean but i don't want to use an external tool i want it to be converted from VB directly thanks for your help in advance.
Your "text" is JSON. Load it using the JSON parser of your choice (google VB.NET parse JSON), loop over the matches array and read the IP address from the http.host property of each element.
Here is an example how to do it using the Newtonsoft.Json package (see it working here on DotNetFiddle):
' Assume that the variable myJsonString contains the original string
Dim myJObject = JObject.Parse(myJsonString)
For Each match In myJObject("matches")
Console.WriteLine(match("http")("host"))
Next
Output:
62.176.84.198
197.214.169.59
46.234.76.75
122.136.141.67
219.73.94.83
2402:800:621b:33f1:d1e3:5544:4fcf:526e
178.136.75.125
188.167.212.252
...
If you want to extract only IPv4 and not IPv6, you can use a regular expression to check whether it matches:
Dim IPV4Regex = New Regex("^(?:(?:25[0-5]|2[0-4][0-9]|[01]?[0-9][0-9]?)\.){3}(?:25[0-5]|2[0-4][0-9]|[01]?[0-9][0-9]?)$")
Dim ip = match("http")("host")
If IPV4Regex.Match(ip).Success Then
Console.WriteLine(ip)
End If
62.176.84.198
197.214.169.59
46.234.76.75
122.136.141.67
219.73.94.83
178.136.75.125
188.167.212.252
...
Of course it's always recommended to parse the input data in a structured way, to avoid surprises such as false positives. But if you just want to match anything that looks like an IP address, regardless of the input format (even if you just put hello1.2.3.4world in the textbox), then you could use just the regular expression and skip the structured approach (see it working here on DotNetFiddle):
Dim IPV4RegexWithWordBoundary = New Regex("\b(?:(?:25[0-5]|2[0-4][0-9]|[01]?[0-9][0-9]?)\.){3}(?:25[0-5]|2[0-4][0-9]|[01]?[0-9][0-9]?)\b")
Dim match = IPV4RegexWithWordBoundary.Match(myJsonString)
Do While match.Success
Console.WriteLine(match.Value)
match = match.NextMatch()
Loop
Here I modified the regular expression to use \b...\b instead of ^...$ so that it matches word boundaries instead of start/end of string. Note however that now we get IP addresses twice with the input that you provided, because the addresses exist more than once:
62.176.84.198
62.176.84.198
197.214.169.59
197.214.169.59
46.234.76.75
46.234.76.75
...
I have run into an issue using attempting to add values from two different columns together in a query, namely that some of them contain numbers. This means that the built in Concat does not work as it requires strings or chars.
Considering how one can cast variables as other datatypes in SQL I don't see why I wouldn't be able to do that in Django.
cast(name as varchar(100))
I would assume that one would do it as follows in Django using the Concat function in combination with Cast.
queryset.annotate(new_col=Concat('existing_text_col', Cast('existing_integer_col', TextField())).get())
The above obviously does not work, so does anyone know how to actually do this?
The use case if anyone wonders are sending jenkins urls saved as fragments as a whole. So one url would be:
base_url: www.something.com/
url_fragment: name/
url_number: 123456
I ended up writing a serializer that inherits from the base serializer that contains the urls fragments and a lot of other things. In it I made a MethodField for my complete url and defined a getter function that loaded in the different fragments and added them together. I also redeclared the fragmented fields to None.
The code inside the new serializer is:
complete = serpy.MethodField("get_copmlete")
serverUrl = serpy.Field(attr=None, call=False, required=False)
jobName = serpy.Field(attr=None, call=False, required=False)
buildNumber = serpy.Field(attr=None, call=False, required=False)
def get_complete(self, obj):
return obj.server_url + obj.job_name + '/' + str(obj.build_number)
I am using connect-mls RESO API and I am having a problem forming the query to search for via PropertyType.
http://odata.reso.org/RESO/OData/Property?$filter=/PropertyType/Name eq "Residential"
The above query keeps coming up with malformed URI.
I also run into a problem is if try to filter on the PropertyType field directly via $filter=(PropertyType eq 'Residental') or $filter=(PropertyType eq 'DE').
I get the following error message:
"message": "StatusCodeError: 400 - {\"error\":{\"code\":null,\"message\":\"The types 'ODataService.PropertyType' and 'Edm.String' are not compatible.\"}}"
Also looked at values in the data dictionary because it seems property type is a enum but have not had any success in any of the formats.
http://ddwiki.reso.org/display/DDW16/Property+Type+Summary
Appreciate any guidance on this.
I was able to find the answer from another source. For the enums they are in a format of ODataService.PropertyType'DE'. A proper API call example is listed below.
https://connectmls-api.mredllc.com/reso/odata/Property?$filter=PropertyType eq ODataService.PropertyType'DE'
For more detailed information on how to properly construct these types of queries, you can look at http://www.odata.org/documentation/
I'm currently trying to create an Endeca query using the Java API for a URLENEQuery. The current query is:
collection()/record[CONTACT_ID = "xxxxx" and SALES_OFFICE = "yyyy"]
I need it to be:
collection()/record[(CONTACT_ID = "xxxxx" or CONTACT_ID = "zzzzz") and
SALES_OFFICE = "yyyy"]
Currently this is being done with an ERecSearchList with CONTACT_ID and the string I'm trying to match in an ERecSearch object, but I'm having difficulty figuring out how to get the UrlENEQuery to generate the or in the correct fashion as I have above. Does anyone know how I can do this?
One of us is confused on multiple levels:
Let me try to explain why I am confused:
If Contact_ID and Sales_Office are different dimensions, where Contact_ID is a multi-or dimension, then you don't need to use EQL (the xpath like language) to do anything. Just select the appropriate dimension values and your navigation state will reflect the query you are trying to build with XPATH. IE CONTACT_IDs "ORed together" with SALES_OFFICE "ANDed".
If you do have to use EQL, then the only way to modify it (provided that you have to modify it from the returned results) is via string manipulation.
ERecSearchList gives you ability to use "Search Within" functionality which functions completely different from the EQL filtering, though you can achieve similar results by using tricks like searching only specified field (which would be separate from the generic search interface") I am still not sure what's the connection between ERecSearchList and the EQL expression above?
Having expressed my confusion, I think what you need to do is to use String manipulation to dynamically build the EQL expression and add it to the Query.
A code example of what you are doing would be extremely helpful as well.
