OFBiz mobile commerce (m-commerce)? - e-commerce

Is there any functionality in OFBiz for m-commerce store? I already used OFBiz for eCommerce store. OFBiz has great functionality for eCommerce. I just want to know is there any way for building m-commerce store with OFBiz functionality or we can just make different design for mobile and maintaining same OFBiz functionality ? I am unable to find any answer to this. Please help me with best way.
Thanks

you can try to create a new application, which will be reusing what is existing.
look at hhfacility, it's a simplified interface for facility management for hand held devices.
Cheers

The mobile application can also use the same application, only the FTL of Presentation layer differs, the backend services will remain same.

Effective Backend for Real Estate Application

I am looking to develop a cross platform mobile app involving real-estate. I have looked at Zillow's API and I think that will be one of the API's I utilize.
https://www.zillow.com/howto/api/APIOverview.htm
My question is if I were to utilize their API as well as those of some other real estate sites, would it make more sense for me to call those APIs directly from the mobile applications, or would it make more sense to have a proxy server, possibly with my own databases compiled from these sites, that the mobile application would call? I have only read the basic overview of the Zillow API, but it looks like it is limited to 1000 calls per day. I understand it is a fairly general questions. If there are any more details that would help to make a better answer, please let me know.
Also, if you know of any other free/cheap real-estate APIs, can you please provide them?
Thanks
Not exactly sure what your metrics are.
But generally speaking, it is a bad idea to hook your mobile app directly to third party API for the following reasons:
You do not control the API, if the third party changed their API your app won't work, the user would have to upgrade. But if you isolate the mobile app by connecting to your server you have more control and can have much longer life.
Caching/rate limits. You can get the data from the third party and store it (if you are allowed) then share the data with all your users
Multiple datasources: Usually you get the data from multiple datasources, so aggregating the data on your server then send the enhanced data model to the app is a lot easier than pulling data from different sources and compiling them on the app itself.

Web app idea directions

I have an idea for a web app project, however, due to not having any programming knowledge, I'm first asking here for directions. Essentially, I wonder if the idea is realistic and what the most effective way could be for me to tackle it.
I want to combine several open-data sources, some in the form of API's (e.g. Google maps), others in the form of statistics in Excel sheets. Like a Mashup of different sources? The idea is to use the data to perform some data crunching and in effect provide some insights from this data in an aggregated way. I have previously played around with dashboards during an internship and I am attracted by the idea to maybe produce a Single page application for my idea with some visualisation. Any thoughts on this?
I have looked at the following services online, but I have no idea if they can help me produce a web app which aggregates different data sources and that allows for nice presentation:
Zoho Creator,
QlikSense,
Sproutcore,
Caspio
Any thoughts on this are highly appreciated!
Best regards
If you’re not a developer and would like to get started immediately, then you could get started by signing up with Zoho Creator. Its intuitive yet easy to use builder lets you setup web app in minutes.
Regarding your query for aggregation from different data sources, Zoho Creator provides REST API that allows you to access external data sources to interface with your web applications.

is there any sample program using Kentor.AuthServices.MVC

I am using mvc4 and I need SAML2.0 for the security. I tried some samples with Component Pro but we need to purchase it and it has good documentation also.
I came to know about Kentor.AuthServices.MVC which is an open source and may i know whether there is any learning site where I can implement with mvc4.
There is a working SampleMvcApplication included in the source on github.

Strategy for modeling a multiple web app subscription system

I am working on a system using php/mysql where I am allowing users to subscribe monthly to various, small browser based web apps. Each app will have different subscription terms and plans. The apps are all currently built and they reside within the same framework.
I am in the modeling phase so I am looking to make this system as flexible as possible wheren the terms from one plan to the next will vary. Any thoughts on how to elegantly model this?
Rather than building this yourself you could look into using something like Zuora.com. Please note that I haven't used these guys or have any affiliation, I just remember reading something about services like this starting to emerge for web-app publishers needing a simple billing/metering solution.
Of course, you also need to consider which payment gateways you support, but I think that Zuora does that behind the scenes.

Can you run your own reCaptcha service, in your own web app?

Is the backend used by reCaptcha open source? Is it a simple web app that can be deployed in a given container?
Thanks,
LES
It's a web service. It is supplied by a third party.
You can integrate it into your application, but as far as the source code goes, no. Its value is not in the source code but in the images that are supplied. They're not randomly generated but come from books from those parts an OCR system failed to process. So by solving reCaptcha people are actually helping scan books. Somebody takes care of the scanning process and supplied a constant flow of new challenges. Hard to beat.
Running reCaptcha on your own server would be very cumbersome, as it requires a constant supply of image data (scanned books) to work. Also it would kind of beat a part of the purpose, that is digitizing books for the common good. Besides, I don't think it's even available.
This should be able to answer all of your questions for you: recaptcha
