3\Assemblies from another laptop which is full installed with Visual
Studio 2011 Express
Copy *.XML to C:\Program Files\Microsoft ASP.NET\ASP.NET Web
Pages\v1.0\Assemblies from another laptop which is full installed
with Visual Studio 2011 Express
SQL Server Compact 4.0
I wrote the following code:

After pressing Shift + F1, I get the following LinqPad message:
Unable to invoke .Net Reflector ( is it installed ? )
How can I solve this problem without installing Visual Studio? I would appreciate step-by-step instructions. Thanks!
.Net Reflector isn't part of the .Net Framework, but a product which is sold by Redgate and you can read more at their website http://www.reflector.net.
So, I guess the step by step instructions would either be :
Don't press Shift-F1.
or
Buy it (or download the trail)
Install it.
Restart Linqpad.
Linqpad also has an option 'Export to Excel', but that only works if you have Excel installed and the same applies with .Net Reflector.

I want to build my project in a docker desktop windows container.
The OS is Windows Server 2019 Core (no interface, just a console).
If I want to build my solution with MSBuild like that:
msbuild MySolution.sln
I get this error message:
MyProject.csproj : error MSB4236: The SDK 'Microsoft.NET.Sdk' specified could not be found.
Which means for me that I need to install Microsoft.NET.Sdk, for which I need to install the 'App Installer' (to get the 'winget' commands).
And for that I need the Microsoft Store which is not supported in Windows Server 2019 Core.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

projects in the solution are mixed of .NET Framework and .NET Core/.NET
msbuild is installed via 'Build Tools for Visual Studio' installation
How can I install the framework with command line?
In the Microsoft documentation "Install .NET on Windows" there are sections for installations methods that don't use winget:
"Install with Windows Installer"
"Install with PowerShell automation"
I am working on an application using the ASP.NET Core - I am using latest update for VS2015 and Windows 10. Now I want to deploy some demo version to some other computer.
How can I host my ASP.NET Core application in IIS Express when there is NO VisualStudio installed on the other side? I downloaded the most recent IIS and Microsoft .NET Core SDK from the Microsoft's website. However, I am still getting this error in the event log:
Dynamickou knihovnu C:\Program Files\IIS Express\aspnetcore.dll modulu se nepodařilo načíst. Data obsahují chybu.
That is in czech "...the aspnetcore.dll is missing...".
The error message is definitely right, there is no such file in this folder nor in the x86 version.
Every hint how to fix it contains upgrading VisualStudio toolkit that is not suitable for me since there is no VisualStudio on target machine. If it is important, target machine is running Windows 7 or Server 2012.
I downloaded Visual Studio Community yesterday and installed it to try out .NET Core.
The Web template section shows the templates for Version 4 but only has one option 'Get ASP.NET 5 RC'.

I have modified the installation and following what others have said online and updating the Web Tools with no success.

Apart from Visual Studio, You have to download and install VS 2015 Tooling Preview 2.
Steps are :
Install Visual Studio 2015 Community with Update 3
Download VS 2015 Tooling Preview 2 from Visual Studio Gallery.
Now when you will go to install the Tooling Preview, you will get the message that you need to install the VS 2015 Update 3, It's a known Bug. You have to install Tooling Preview from command line with command
DotNetCore.1.0.0-VS2015Tools.Preview2.exe SKIP_VSU_CHECK=1
Just go in the folder and hit where Preview installer is.
Once done restart Visual Studio and now you will have the Scaffolding options like

The solution is:
First, check if you have .NET 4.5 on your system. If you do, that is very likely causing the problem. Try either upgrading to VS2010 SP1 or downgrade .NET to 4.0
CAUSES:
This error appear because you have installed Visual C++ 2012 after you have actually installed Visual C++ 2010 in your system; another cause is because .net Framework 4.5 replace .net Framework 4.0; .net Framework corrupted files;
HOW TO SOLVE:
Uninstall .NET Framework 4.5 from your system; then download .NET Framework 4.0 and install it; this should fix your problem;
I am trying my hands on source code of WIX 3.6 to debug something as well as learn something.
On executing make.bat (present in root folder of WIX source) file, first i got NAnt not found. So I downloaded NAnt and updated make.bat file. On executing the file again I am getting this error

I have .Net framework 4.0 installed on my local. Also I searched through registry for the registry key mentioned in the error and didn't found. Am I using right version of NAnt?

The missing registry key seems to be related to the VisualStudio SDK - you don't need this for basic WiX.
If you have all of the prerequisites, try passing the -debug switch to Nant for more detailed debugging output.
