Iphone, phone gap, childbrowser and email functionality - objective-c

i have recently built my first app using phone gap and have managed to get childbrowser working to open PDF's. I was wondering if anyone knew how, or if it was even possible to add email functionality to Childbrowser. Currently, in the top right of the ChildBrowser bar, there is a button that produces a drop down with the option to open it in iBooks, SIGNificant and Dropbox, is it possible to edit this to add an email button or just add an email button straight into the UI bar?

I'm guessing that this cannot be done without using Obj-C. perhaps it will be included in later versions.

How to create a pop-out button in Vue.js?

I am starting to develop a Vue.js based application that is replacing a desktop application. What customer is asking is the option to be able to pop-out different parts of the application (to be able to put it in the another window)
The idea is like in email applications, like GMail.com, you can click on pop-out in the middle of the work and you can continue your work in the new window.
I was wondering if there is an efficient and clean way to do this?

How do i create my own right click menu on the desktop?

i have searched up and down the internet but cannot figure this out. So ive finally come here for the aid of some utter genius people.
I dont like the windows right click function as it has too many options. Some of the options like properties cannot be removed. So, i thought i could disable right click to remove the menu and create my own.
The problem i have is i cannot figure out for VS2010 how to right click on the desktop outside of the form/project and make a box pop up like the same behaviour as the built in one. I am ultimately wanting to be able to expand and add things but im falling at the first hurdle.
Can someone please tell me how to right click on the desktop and create a context menu popup where i can add my own items. i want it to behave the same as windows but i want it my own essentially. This way in the future i will be able to enable or disable my own functions i.e open/winrar/7zip / remove edit on the fly.
thanks

Remove/Disable the default menu of desktop is not a good idea at all
But you can add your own items as well using 3rd party apps
I made an app modifies the default menu ,it can append more items an sub items
I wrote it long time ago I do not remember if i still have the source code or not

Back button overriding in windows phone for webbrowser/view

I am implementing a simple webview application with only one url. I have over ridden back button function for webview navigation (which is working fine). Now my app has only one screen with webview and user visits the links inside main url and navigates using back button.
I want to know that, What is Microsoft Certification Policy as my application has only one screen so should it Close when user press back button anytime? Or Microsoft allows implementing of webview with over ridden back button functionality.
If question is still unclear Kindly tell me. I'll explain more but I need to know answer to this question.
Thanks.
You shoulld be fine, I have submitted applications which works like that myself which passed certification.
As long as the application quits when pressing the back button when there is no more "history" for the webbrowser control it shouldn't be a problem because the user still get the experience of moving "backward" in his use and can finally quit the app.
Regarding WebBrowser control and content of the app please consider this requirement:
"Your app and metadata must have distinct, substantial and legitimate content and purpose. Your app must provide functionality other than launching a webpage."
So, the application's sole functionality must not be only to launch a website.
This is not releated to back button but very important thing that need to be considered!

Silverlight - Lync Application nested in a table

I'm very new in Silverlight and the Lync-SDK. So sorry for the question from a beginner.
Long time ago, i wrote al little web application, based on php for reading out contacts from a sql database.
Now the customer expand his envoirement and place Lync. Now he want the little Lync-Status-Square in the webapplication for click to call features.
I playing a little bit with the SDK of lync.
The following problem comes up. The square of Lync is nested in a td of my table. But the Lync-Silverlight-Applet need dynamical space for hover effects or single clicks. But in my table, i have no space, specially dynamic space.
So i switch off all hover and click functionality and place the follwing buttons in the StackPanel separate.
PresenceIndicator
StartInstanceMessagingButton
StartAudiCallButton
SendEmailButton
Two of them are fine.
Clicking on the IM-Button, The Lync Client opens the right Contact in IM-Mode and i can directly type a message. Perfect!
Clicking on the Mail-Icon, an Mail-Client will open, perfect.
The PresenceIndicator just display the color, not the exactly state, thats a problem, when the color is yellow. I can display the state in a TextBlock, but i prefer a label appears while hovering over the icon.
But my mainproblem is the StartAudioCallButton. This Icon is an dropDown-Icon. And i have no space for dropdowns. I would be so nice if this icon has the same behavoior like the IM-Button. The Lync Client will open in Call Modus and i can select, which callernumber i will use. Is that possible?
Thank you for Your time!
Frank
If you're having trouble with the layout of the standard Lync SilverLight controls, then the best thing to do is implement your own SilverLight controls for the function you're having difficulty with.
User Controls are really simple to create, there are plenty of tutorials on how to get started if you're not familiar with the process.
The Lync SDK has some great walkthroughs to get you up and running with signing in to Lync and placing an audio call
I don't know of any way to get Lync to open in a Call Mode as you suggested, but if you're limited with screen space, maybe you could have your custom StartAudioCallButton open a popup with the phone numbers in?

open IE without toolbar or address bar from Windows VB Application

Shell ("explorer.exe www.google.com")
is how I'm currently opening my products ad page after successful install. However I think it would look much nicer if I could do it more like Avira does, or even a popup where there are no address bar links etc. Doing this via an inbrowser link is easy enough
<a href="http://page.com"
onClick="javascript:window.open('http://page.com','windows','width=650,height=350,toolbar=no,menubar=no,scrollbars=yes,resizable=yes,location=no,directories=no,status=no'); return false")">Link text</a>
But how would I go about adding this functionality in VB?
If you want it to look professional, you need to use an actual browser component. VB.NET comes with one. If you are using an older version of VB, you'd need to go third party. If you want to stay with a shell open, you would have to individually target the browser command-line and pass arguments to indicate that it should not have toolbars etc.
Speaking as a user, I find castrated popup windows annoying and unproductive.
So my answer is: "don't".
