When I upload files in Yii using the following code it generates an error.
$file=CUploadedFile::getInstance($model,'file');
and the error goes here.
[YiiBase::include(Upload.php) [function.YiiBase-include]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory]
I think a minor thing is being missed by my while configuring Yii.
Any kind of help is appreciated.
did you specify the enctype in your form ?
i.e for example:
CHtml::beginForm('', 'post', array('enctype' => 'multipart/form-data'));
if it's not specified the file won't be uploaded.

I'm attempting to access the Geometadb database which first involves download of the SQL library. I did that and then I got the Geometadb library.
library(GEOmetadb)
Next I need the Geometadb file which is where things start to go wrong. I issue this command as seen exactly in the tutorial: https://bioconductor.riken.jp/packages/3.0/bioc/vignettes/GEOmetadb/inst/doc/GEOmetadb.html
if(!file.exists('GEOmetadb.sqlite')) getSQLiteFile()
It should proceed to not only download a .gz zip file but also unzip the file. It downloads it but never unzips it. Instead I get the following error.
trying URL 'http://dl.dropbox.com/u/51653511/GEOmetadb.sqlite.gz'
Error in download.file(url_geo, destfile = localfile, mode = "wb") :
cannot open URL 'http://dl.dropbox.com/u/51653511/GEOmetadb.sqlite.gz'
In addition: Warning message:
In url(url_geo_2, open = "rb") :
cannot open: HTTP status was '403 Forbidden'
Just not sure what's going on here. Considering these are just the early tutorial steps I'm probably missing something really obvious but I'm hoping someone can help me out. Thanks!
On every view in my cakephp3-app cake tries to write to cli-error.log. Why? I have no idea how to debug this...
Warning: file_put_contents(/home/matthias/www/bserp.localhost/logs/cli-error.log): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/matthias/www/bserp.localhost/vendor/cakephp/cakephp/src/Log/Engine/FileLog.php on line 134
//debug(array('php_sapi_name' => php_sapi_name()));
[
'php_sapi_name' => 'apache2handler'
]
Maybe this was the most stupid error ever happend to me. I accidentay copy/pasted the warning in plain text into the config/route.php file of an plugin.
So apache didn't drop this warning but just printed text in the file.
sorry for beeing an idiot :)

I have one other question : can we use UNC path to save image outside of website folder? If yes then how we can use?
Thanks in advance.
I have planned to use the Ext.ux.panel.PDF extension https://github.com/SunboX/ext_ux_pdf_panel for my app but cannot make it to work inside my Sencha Architect 3.0.
I have downloaded the files and put the js file in my project directory /ext/src/ux/panel/PDF.js. In the apllication I have put the require line on the top level under Application
Ext.application({
requires: [
'Ext.window.MessageBox',
'Ext.ux.panel.PDF'
], ...
But when I want to instantiate the pdf panel with the code from the example I keep getting this error:
Uncaught Error: The following classes are not declared even if their files have been loaded: 'Ext.ux.panel.PDF'. Please check the source code of their corresponding files for possible typos: 'ext/src/ux/panel/PDF.js
Please advise.
EDIT: I have tried using a loader but the error is still present
Ext.Loader.setConfig({
enabled: true,
paths: {
Ext: 'ext/src'
}
});
The error you get means, that the file ext/src/ux/panel/PDF.js does not contain valid javascript. I tested this extension, and I don't get that error.
It the file is empty, you will get this error only, if it contains invalid javascript, this should be the second error, while the first will complain about the syntax error.
If the file is missing, you'll get another error.
Have a close look at the file, maybe it got corrupted while downloading or unzipping the extension. Or you edited it by error and introduced an error.
try to add below code on top of your Ext.application({ ~~~ source
Ext.Loader.setPath({
'Ext.ux' : 'YOURPATH(ABSOLUTE OR RELATIVE)/ext/src/ux'
});
