Change lable text in uitablecell - objective-c

I want to implement tablecell in which there is one label with text = 0 and two button with text '+' and '-'
when i click + button then i want to increment text label by one.
when i click - button then i want to decrement text label by one.
Any idea how to change the label of uitablecell.

Look at this page of documentation. Especially, Listing 5-3. The basic idea is that all custom subviews should be added to contentView of your table cell.

Try using setText: method of UILabel

Content in Table cell of iOS 8 is not display

Everything works well in iOS 9.
But in iOS 8, the content is not displayed, only imageview is showed.
What i did is that I create a view and add label and UIImage to that view. Then that view is added to contentView of table Cell

This is because iOS 9 Apple handle good autolayout than before.
Let add [cell layoutIfNeeded] before return cell.

Two lines of text on UIButton with different fonts each

I found a way to add two lines of text on a UIButton,
but what I want is that each of these lines of texts
have different font (for instance one is bold, other not).
How is it possible to do this?

You should add 2 UILabel to the UIButton as subviews.
You can do it like:

To also make highlighting possible for the UILabels, you need to make the highlighting of the button custom.
So add the actions to the button and then check the button subviews for the labels and change their colors.

The solution of Roland is good, another way to do this would be to use a NSAttributedString. The downside is, that it only works in iOS 6 and above.

Because that method is nonexistent on UIButton.

By using a method that UIButton actually responds to. For example:
[sender setTitle:#"You pressed the button" forState:UIControlStateNormal];
And read the relevant documentation, please.
Your code will not change the title of the button. But simply add a label as a subview for your view. Is this what you want?
If you want to change the text on the button you will want to do sender.title.text = test; in your button_method
I also recommend adding a NSLog(#"Button pressed"); to your button press method to double check that it is being called.

How can I replace the text in a round rect button with a spinner?

I have a view with a generic rounded rect button that segues to another view. When users press the rounded rect it starts a fetch. I would like to have a spinning wheel replace the text ("Next") inside the rounded rect button while the fetch is processed.
I created the spinner:
UIActivityIndicatorView *spinner = [[UIActivityIndicatorView alloc] initWithActivityIndicatorStyle:UIActivityIndicatorViewStyleGray];
[spinner startAnimating];
But I don't know how to make it replace the text in the rounded rect button.

Create (or get a reference to) the button as usual, then, while handling the button click, create your spinner and set it as a subview of the button. It's probably also worth disabling the button to stop multiple clicks.

Failing to add a label to parentView via code

I just want to be able to add a label to parent view dynamically i.e just by pressing a button.Not a real world application just learning.
Here is cut down version of the method it executes but can not see the label.
