Does importing a module get the deployed version in KRL? Suppose I want to use the development version, can I get that instead?
You will currently get the same version as the app you are running. We will be making a few small changes to this behavior to make it more clear and provide more options.

I am using DNN 9. I recently upgraded DNN from version 9.1.1 to 9.3.2. When I Login, the left side of DNN disappears with only the logo od DNN. Other options like settings,edit etc are not seen. Any Idea as to what the issue might be?
If you search the forums at dnnsoftware.org, you'll probably find the solution. I'm afraid that I don't recall what it is.
I think, though, that upgrading to 9.4.4 will fix it, too. You'll want to do that in a test environment to make sure that your upgrade will work. There may be some third party modules that need to be upgraded before you upgrade to 9.4.4, so check with module vendors.

"...so check with module vendors": There are known issues with DNNSharp modules. See https://dnncommunity.org/forums/aft/748 - but better check with all vendors of third party extensions, if you use any.
Read a few things, tried this and it worked. Delete all from the Bin directory, grab and copy all from another bin directory from a currently working site with the exact version. You may need to install a demo/test site and spin it up to get a good working copy, but this worked for me.
Restoring the bin folder was the solution for me
I am using version 4.5.5 of jhipster.
My OS is Linux Mint.
I am using IntelliJ as my IDE.
Everything is working fine in terms of generating the code, building and running the code.
Client
Unfortunately, when I make changes to the client code (html or ts), the changes are not reflected until I recompile the client code completed. To achieve this I do "mvn -Pdev,webpack". It takes quite a while to restart the client and this is really holding me back.
Hot Deploy
What I expect to happen is that I can run "npm start" and when I save a change to a ts or a html file that it will be picked up and the change immediately visible in the browser.
Questions
Any ideas why the client hot deploy is not working ?
Any ideas how I identify where the issue is ?
For example, how do I know what folders are being watched by the hot deploy ?

Figured it out.
Somebody else had a similar issue with a globally installed instance of webpack.
I installed a local version and the file updates are being detected and recompiled and the app hot deployed. Now working perfectly.

I'm stumped. I cannot understand the getbootstrap.com Getting Started info. I'm running on Windows 7 Pro. I would like to use Pingendo - which I'm new to - to create my website.
I downloaded the distribution version bootstrap-3.3.7-dist.zip (pre-compiled) and unzipped it. Then I came to the MaxCDN code. Where do I put that code??
For the source code version, I see references to things I don't know about: Bower, npm, Composer, Grunt, Less, and SASS. All these appear to be Linux based tools - from the command lines shown. How does one accomplish the same thing under Windows without installing yet more tools? Do I even need to compile this code to use the greater features?
You can either add the downloaded bootstrap css and js files to your project and reference them or you can just use the cdn which is just the same files hosted on a server. You do now have to know about any of those to get started with Bootstrap. They are just additional ways to install it, and different preprocessors that you can leverage.
One thing I really like about the later version of Worklight/MobileFirst Studio is the faster edit/test cycle when working in the Mobile Browser Simulator: just edit, save, click Go/Refresh; no need to build/deploy.
When using CLI (6.3.0.00.20141111-1216) this does not seem to be the case. Seems like I need to do
mfp build; mfp deploy;
After every edit. Am I missing a trick?
Right now I'm thinking I need to revert to my old practice of setting up a web-server to serve directly from my product folder, which is not ideal because I then need to mock up the WL.* APIs I use.

At the current time, this is a limitation of the CLI, based on the use of a standalone MFP Server. Within Studio, some special tricks are being played, to just updated modified files. We are working to resolve this in the CLI and perform similar per file deployments, but we're not there yet. In the interim, I encourage you to view Justin Berstler's video on using the CLI with Grunt.
When i try to use the statement google.load("dojo", "1.6.1") in a web app I am developing, I receive the error:
Module: 'dojo' with version '1.6.1' not found!
This latest version of dojo, enables a certain amount of support for IE 9.0, and that is why I need to reference it. Is this supported by Google as a library? Either way, if anyone has suggestions as to how I can work around this?
1.6.1 is not yet in the Google ajax library repositories. See the latest version note here. I'm sure it will be within a day or two. There is a note on the dojo download page in big red letters saying that the CDN's are still behind on 1.6.0 and saying where to get notified when they are updated.
You can always use the "1.6" nomenclature to always have the latest version and your app will move up to 1.6.1 as soon as it hits the Google CDN. If a couple days is really going to make or break you you should consider compiling and using your own local version. Dojo makes this really easy.
