I found great cocoa calendar control at googlecode — http://code.google.com/p/calendarcontrol/ . Looks great , but unfortunately i can't build sources of example project. I've try resolve dependencies problem with amber.framework for several hours, but no success. Does anyone tried this control?
Maybe someone have fully read build&go example?

I just finished skating around that infamous "cannot load main class start" thing, and I got blindsided with a sea of errors:
A friend suggests it might have something to do with com.google, but ultimately can't help me.
I haven't made a single alteration to any of the code so far. Eclipse just started up not being able to run and stayed that way. I think there's a way to fix it but it would require making acute changes at the sight of every single error; work that could be wiped by a cleanup if I'm proved wrong.
Anyone have a clue what the issue is? Thank you for the trouble.
UPDATE: Adding guava as a library relieved the error involving com.google, but threw in a handful of others. This one class file contains 3 of the most common unresolved types I've seen scattered throughout: Logger/LogManagaer, PropertyMap, and CrashReport
Your general problems revolve around not having dependencies in the build path. Eclipse's error messages are pretty clear about this; e.g. if a package name is underlined in red and can't be found, then that means it can't be found, and the obvious solution is to add the library that provides it, so that it can be found.
In virtually all cases here, a Google search for the missing packages and classes will lead you to the packages that contain it.
For each unresolved dependency, find the library, add it to the build path, then move on.
I also suggest consulting the documentation that comes with the source code you are attempting to compile, which often simply lists the dependencies, thus saving you the trouble of hunting them down as you go.
While we could do the internet searches for you and hash this out one step at a time, it's both better and faster for you to do it yourself. Better because if you're messing around with Minecraft source, having at least a basic knowledge of how your tools work is going to help you (I also suggest some of the material at http://docs.oracle.com/javase/tutorial/). Faster because the turnaround time of typing package names into the Google search box is a heck of a lot faster than constantly updating your question here and waiting for replies.
It looks like you are missing the Google Collections package, which now is called Guava.
Download the jar file, and add it as a library.
I have a problem with several references in my VB.NET project.
For example I have this line of code:
Dim m As New Chilkat.Email
It comes from the library "ChilkatDotNet45.dll".
When I click on "References" and locate this dll, I can see that it has the settings "Use local copy" and "Do not include interop types".
When I switch to Release mode, the compiler tells me that "Chilkat.EMail" is not defined.
I have this problem with several DLLs, so it is not specific to Chilkat.
Can somebody tell me what I did wrong?

One of the standard approaches to solving any programming-related issue is trying to reduce the scope of the investigation. If you have a big project, in which something doesn't work, try to create a smaller project, and try to replicate desired functionality in it. Reduce as much as possible, down to a brand new project with maybe 5-10 lines of code in it.
If you were unable to solve your problem after making a reduced test case, now it's good time to post it on StackOverflow. I am usually reducing problems while writing a question on SO (not before, as one might think), constantly thinking "ok, is it minimized enough"; and this is how 90% of the questions never get posted - I often find a solution along the way of reducing my question to bare bones. :)
In your case, can you build a simplified project which has this problem and post a link here? We could then try switching Debug to Release on our machines and see if the we can reproduce. There are too many options to do the guesswork.
Regarding to the solution described in this post, a third assembly is required to forward the type resolution to the correct assembly.
When adding this reference to the Android class library project using the type, the forwarding seems to not be done. The reference needs to be added in the Android application project which is the end point of the build process.
Does any solution exist to add the reference embedding the forwarding in the project requiring it ?
I mean, if in my solution architecture I use :
MyApp.Core - PCL
MyApp.Core.Droid - Android class library
MyApp.UI.Droid - Android Application
The usage of System.Net namespace (System.Net.Socket.AddressFamily for example) is done in my ViewModel, which is located in MyApp.Core.Droid (redirection of MyApp.Core with some plugins). In this case, it is more logical (and readable) to have the reference in the MyApp.Core.Droid. But in the fact, the assembly resolution is done (from what I understand) when packaging the application, so in MyApp.UI.Droid. So in this case, the reference needs to be added to MyApp.UI.Droid in order to be found (failed if added to MyApp.Core.Droid).
In this case the solution works, but its quite obvious to understand for a new programmer joining the team which, has not been facing the trouble and understands why this reference needs to be added to the UI project...
I'm not sure my thought is easy to understand by the way I introduce it. Let me know if you need more explanation.

I'm not entirely sure why this 'fails if added to MyApp.Core.Droid' - it feels like this should be added. However, I know that Xamarin have tweaked and changed the dependency resolution scripts a few times.
With that said, I think the best answer to your question is 'don't worry about it too much' - this is only a small inconveneinve right now and it will be resolved by Xamarin's updates 'soon'.
The current PCL support is something that I and a number of others have worked on in order to make things work. This set of 'hacks' is a workaround for the lack of 'proper PCL' support - it simulates what the Microsoft PCL build platform does on WindowsPhone, WPF, etc, but it isn't a perfect implementation.
Xamarin have now committed to 'proper PCL' support. When that happens then these type-forwarding dependencies will automatically be added. The good news is that this support is perhaps now only days, weeks or at most months away.
I've been playing with Sublime Text 2 the last few days and was wondering if anyone out there has had any success getting Cocoa method completions working yet? Is there a plugin (or in-progress project to create one) out there?
Any general comments on using Objective-C in Chocolat or Sublime Text 2 would also be welcome.
There is an in-progress Sublime Text package that connects to clang to get autocomplete data called SublimeClang I've not managed to successfully get it to work totally with Cocoa/UIKit Dev, but here's a screenshot

In MacVim I use a plugin called Cocoa.vim which haves useful python scripts that generates a classes and methods files for autocompletion. I didn't try so much with ST2, but may be is posible to create a sublime-package or sublime-completions file with all this data.
For the moment, I only create a sublime-completions file with some snippets. If I find a way to make this work, I will tell you.
I let my SublimeClang configuration options if helps anybody. I've already some of the autocompletions working:

Answering my own question here. A quick visit to the Sublime forums didn't turn up any leads nor did Google. It looks as though method completions for Objective-C aren't currently part of the default install nor available via 3rd-party quite yet.
This user http://b.rthr.me/wp/?p=368 claims to have gotten SublimeClang working. I may report back myself once I try it...
I admit...I am posting this question because I still don't have an answer to my other question and thought I would take a different tact.
Can someone explain to me WHERE the values for intellisense and namespace/class/member completion works. I figured if I can drill into where/how it is deriving that data I can try to reconfigure my project so that it will resolve my namespaces correctly.

The name space and intellisense information, for the CLR, comes from a database hidden inside the VS install.
The information for the working project, is scanned and archived (I think in a file) when you open the project. It then periodically updates it as you work.
If you want the exact path, I doubt that Microsoft publishes that information.
After looking at your other question, I wanted to add that it is possible (somehow) to have Visual Studio rebuild the index information for a given project. It eludes me on how to do this right now. Have you tried this and did you end up with the same results?

I don't know how it's done in Visual Studio, but here is the general approach:
Collect all the public members and methods.
This is done, in case of managed libraries like those produced by VB.NET, by reflection. The documentation comes from xml files related to those libs. That's the approach for Referenced libraries.
For the project you are currently working on, it just constantly parses the source files where the documentation is combined with the code.
How the namespace resolving is done depends on the language offcourse, but that is answered in your other question.
