The reason I ask is because every e-mail that I get with a link attached I keep getting " Platform Version 1.9.0.4 not compatible with min version>=1.9.0.5 max version<=1.9.0.5.
I don't have a clue how to get rid of xul runner or what I need to do in order for my computer to accept xul or whatever I need to do. Can someone please provide me with step by step (and I mean very explicit step by step) directions on how to do whatever it is I need to do to get this fixed?
XUL is a tool created by Mozilla Corporation (the folks that made Firefox and Thunderbird) to make writing their applications more like writing applications for the web.
With that said, if you're using Firefox to view webmail when you're having this issue or using Thunderbird and having this issue, I would uninstall any plugins you have installed and check it then. If that still doesn't resolve the problem, try uninstalling and reinstalling the application you're using to view the message in.

I have a radio button that is represented as a pbdatawindow, when I run setcelldata to pick an option it works fine on my laptop but fails on my colleagues laptop. If we try the run the command again on my colleagues laptop we get a fatal error from UFT.
The only difference between my UFT install and my colleagues is that my colleagues version is installed in French. Has anyone seen a similar issue?

Few things to try:
What version of uft are you using? - perhaps check for newer of see if there is a patch available?
Jump onto the microfocus knowledge base and see if there is anything around power builder.
You say the machines are the same but does that include every application too? In the past I've known that if you install applications after uft it can break its references. Try uninstalling and reinstalling uft. There is a repair option but uninstall/reinstall is normally more thorough.
Try and clear out all your temp and user settings.
In your user profile backup then remove all folders with mercury, hp, Hewlett-Packard and microfocus.
-The go to %temp% and clear evetything.
Try and pin down the problem - Has your colleague tried the English version or uft? - if that works, is it an option? (everyone use the same version)
If it doesn't work it suggests it's your colleague's machine as opposed to uft.
Is evetything such as the resolution and browser/application versions the same? Or simply try another French localised machine?
What's the fatal error? Does it provide any clues on why it failed?
Finally, You're paying a lot for commercial software. Don't suffer in silence :-)
Log a support call with microfocus. It's a bit long winded but Back in the day they used to be pretty good at helping. They'll ask you for logs and knowing how to get that is good to know.

I Just installed Ranorex studio trial version 8.3.0. While I was going through tutorial trying to learn it, I encountered a problem. After creating new solution when I try to record test, it's just start recording. It doesn't give option to select run an application or open a browser to provide specific path or URL.
I have tried a lot but it's the same way. As I have seen in many tutorials when you click on record it asks you to choose one of these. Is something changed in new release?
Yes, it is part of the new release of Ranorex 8.3.0. Ranorex has made some changes to Ranorex Recorder and now it no longer asks to select the application you want to test. I think the workaround would be that you can leave your application open before recording and also add the application to the white-list so that when it runs the test it can only focus on the white-listed application and hence would increase efficiency.

I recently finished an application based on Titanium, Javascript, HTML, CSS. I have only been a web designer to date so I have little experience in distributing applications. I was accustomed to the TiDev Community deploying app, which prepared the app for download and made it available for download at a given link.
But tidev community is no longer supported, so I use TideSDK Developer to package the app, which doesnt do all the hard work the other one did so nicely.
I am obviously a complete rookie to this.
Could anyone outline the steps I would need to take to go from the bundled application folder I have now (put together by TideSDK Developer), to a link that will allow customers to download and install the app or online? I know there is an issue with packaoging the app for platforms other than your own, and that appcelerator is working on a solution to this I think. I also realise I would probably have to pay to host the download online. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
You must use the tidebuilder.py script. to compile a installation package. To compile a binary for a Mac, you must run the script on a Mac, to compile a binary for windows, you must be on a windows box etc.
There is some documentation on how to use it here per platform. The command is very simple and works.
Once you have your application file (DMG for OSX or a MSI for Windows) then just distribute it however you see fit, email, putting it on your web server, whatever works for you.
I'm trying to install Fireshot addon in opera version 11.62. bt it is not available on opera. Actually fireshot is the extension use for taking screenshot of the current locating site so to make report on the site. so is their any option beside that or can i install Fireshot on it?
Fireshot is a Firefox extension, I don't believe it's available as an Opera extension. You could try installing Lightshot, which sounds like it tries to do something similar (though some of the comments make it sound like it's a bit dodgy), or one of many third-party apps like Screenshot Captor.
Right now it is NOT possible for an Opera extension to do it, though we are working on exposing such functionality in the future through extensions.
I have downloaded Pharo 1.2.2 #12353 and wanted to install some packages in a easier way than going through Monticello Browser. I do not want to copy and paste scripts to install packages. After I opened the Menu, Tools, Configuration Browser a new window is shown with 3 ConfigurationOf...

There is no help or description of what's the purpose of the Configuration Browser. What's one supposed to do with that?

There is a custom browser to Metacello? Why isn't included in the release by default?
You can give MetacelloBrowser a try. It is aimed at providing a Metacello-centric interface for managing your project. The browser is still in development, but can be used for many tasks quite nicely.

The ideas is that we have an own Squeaksource repo (universe) for a
specific Pharo version where we have a copy all the ConfigurationOfXXX
that are known to work in this specific Pharo version.
Since nobody (yet) mainted the one for Pharo 1.3 the browser is just empty.
I will try to find the time to fill the repo for Pharo 1.3
