OAuth on iPhone XR 2020, iOS 14.7.1 unexpected behavior in username entry - input

When connecting to Google to integrate Nest into another system (in this case Flair Systems) on an iPhone XR 2020 running iOS 14.7.1, the following happens:
I click the link in the Flair App to connect to Google Nest
I am directed to a standard Google OAuth portal
I enter a username with a Google Nest account associated with it
I click the Next button
The gray placeholder text "Email or phone" reappears, overlaid on top of the email address I just entered. The part of the email address that extends beyond "Email or phone" remains visible
The expectation is that I would instead be asked for a password, or informed that the user account does not exist. Image of faulty login state
There is little we can do to attempt to repair or circumvent this from our side. We have seen this in other users on iOS devices as well.

How to get profile picture in Instagram Conversation List response?

I'm trying to get a list of conversations on the Instagram business account and it works fine. But I cannot find the way how to get a user profile picture (or chat picture) as a chat picture. Also, I tried to get profile_pic via User Profile API and got a problem "(#230) User consent is required to access user profile". My Facebook app is still in development mode. Is there a way to do it?

How to get to the device registration page of cumulocity?

How to get to the device registration page of cumulocity?
I am trying to connect Raspberry Pi with Cumulocity.I followed all the steps from the following link < https://www.cumulocity.com/guides/devices/raspberry-pi/ >.I got stuck in the step where it suggests to register the device.
I do not find the registration page.
When you are in devicemanagement application it is the first menu item on the left.
When you log in to Cumulocity, chances are you are looking at the Administrator page. Up in the top right of the screen you'll see an icon with 9 dots next to your user name. Click that and then select "Device Management". This will bring you to the screen that has the device registration and other relevant links in the left nav menu.

How to Sign-Out from an authenticated ListDataProvider/Authenticator in Windows Phone 8

I am reading a SharePoint list from Office 365 inside a Windows Phone 8 app. My app-code is based on this sample code from Microsoft. It uses
Microsoft.SharePoint.Phone.Application.ListDataProviderBase
Microsoft.SharePoint.Client.ClientContext
Microsoft.SharePoint.Client.Authenticator
The actual problem beeing signout not working!
On the first request to the server, the client asks for authentication and shows a hosted browser window where I can enter my account credentials. I select to stay logged in here.
If i restart the app, it authenticates me without showing the UI again.
I would like to be able to switch user or simply signout leaving no credentials on the phone behind.
I found the following static methods on Authenticator which do not change anything:
Authenticator.ClearAllCookies();
Authenticator.ClearAllCredentials();
Authenticator.ClearAllApplicationSettings();
What is the prefered way to do this?
This is an example of how I am logging out a user in my SP list App for WP8:
App.MainViewModel.IsInitialized = false;
Authenticator.ClearAllCredentials();
App.MainViewModel.Initialize();
MessageBox.Show("You have been successfully logged out, click refresh to login again.");
Your app maybe a little different, but you should at least get to the App and ViewModel to set Initialized as false. I did expxect the App.MainViewModel.Initialize() to show the login page but need to click refresh after calling this SignOut method to do so, that is why I displayed the messagebox.
Hope this helps you.

Image not showing up with other hashtagged images and Gramblr

I am not a developer but I am a university researcher studying informal education through social media.
Recently I just had my account disabled when I tested the application gramblr for uploading photos to Instagram. As I have a few members of my learning community who wanted to participate but could not afford a smartphone I wanted to find them alternate options.
Presently anything I upload and tag does not show up amidst other images with the same tag.
This is a big problem as I am the lead researcher and the community organizer, and I lead through example, as well as create various educational avenues through the use of tags.
Please help me to resolve this issue as soon as is possible.
Thank you
-Lily
I was having the same problem. Gramblr actually broke my Instagram account. I had to delete it and start with a new account. Here is how I figured out how to upload photos from my PC with no smart phone:
1 - Download and install BlueStacks: http://www.bluestacks.com/ When running, this program will produce an environment in which you can run popular apps on your computer.
2 - Search for the Instagram app within the BlueStacks App Player & install it. Also search for the Roots Browser app and install it as well (you'll use this app to upload photos from your computer.)
3 - Open Instagram inside BlueStacks & either register a new account or sign in with an existing one.
4 - Open the Roots Browser app and navigate to the desired folder where you will be storing images copied from your computer. I chose SD Card > Pictures. Pull the image(s) into the folder & drop it. It will ask you where you want to send it - choose Instagram.
5 - Open the Instagram app. To upload photos from your computer you must go into the Instagram settings (maybe under Advanced Settings) and disable/uncheck the Instagram camera. In the lastest updates the placement of this checkbox option has changed, so it may take some looking around to find it.
6 - In the Instagram app, click on the camera icon to upload a photo. Choose gallery & then navigate through your Root Browser to the folder where you dragged in your chosen image(s). Choose an image.
7 - Post as you would normally by following the prompts/icons to progress.
I ran into 1 more issue. It turns out that my BlueStacks Instagram app would get stuck after choosing the photo & trying to continue with posting. The screen would turn black & nothing happened for a very long time. I ended up having to update my graphics card drivers & that fixed the problem. If you need help updating your graphics card driver(s) see the http://www.ma-config.com/en website. It will help you to figure out what drivers can be updated. You'll have to download the proper version for your computer operating system & install it on your computer. Double click the icon on your desktop after installation to run it & then hit the refresh button in the browser on the ma-config website. Follow prompts to download drivers needed.
This is the method that worked for me. There are several other methods if you search YouTube with combinations of words including BlueStack & Instagram.
Blue stacks has tons of adware/malware etc. according to my security software, the better work around is dropbox. Put the image in drop box on your computer, then on your phone select your photo from dropbox. A bit long winded but it works.

How do I post in facebook a big image on a friend's timeline without using sdk feed dialog

I have an app that lets the user create a custom-made greeting card (a big image) and send it to a facebook friend who has their birthday / another occasion on that day.
I want to allow my user to post the generated greeting card image on the other friend's timeline.
Since feb 2013, developers are not allowed to post on other user's wall using /feed (stream.publish), the documentation states it is only allowed using the feed dialog (sdk pop-up).
How do I allow a user to post a big image on a friend's timeline from an iOs app without using the sdk's send dialog?
Due to the Recent Changes of Facebook Graph API you can't do this anyway without using the Feed Dialog .
