How to connect snowsql from PC (Windows 10) - authentication

I have signed up for 30 day trial version for snowflake, as part of learning I am trying to run the Snowsql (client) from my windows desktop. I installed client from snowflake client repository (account name, username and password are all correct).
Got the following error:
C:\Users\ugain>snowsql -a vg49826 -u ugainedi
Password:
**250001 (08001): Failed to connect to DB. Verify the account name is correct: vg49826.snowflakecomputing.com:443. HTTP 403: Forbidden
If the error message is unclear, enable logging using -o log_level=DEBUG and see the log to find out the cause. Contact support for further help.
Goodbye!**
Appreciate the help. Thank you!

Go to your account using the Snowflake web UI and look at the URL. Since there is no account vg49826.snowflakecomputing.com, that means you're running Snowflake somewhere other than on AWS_US_WEST_2. That's the only region that does not include the region in the account name for connection purposes.
Copy the portion of the URL up to but not including "snowflakecomputing.com". It will be something like vg49826.us-east-1, vg49826.east-us-2.azure, or something similar. Your Snowflake account, for the purposes of connecting to SnowSQL is the portion of the URL after https:// and before snowflakecomputing.com in the web UI URL.

Keycloak federation with LDAP fails to make the connection : Error! Error when trying to connect to LDAP. See server.log for details

I am trying to create a federated authentication using the Keycloak and following the steps mentioned here: Setup User Federation with Keycloak
I have been using the port 10389 instead of 389 mentioned in the document. Everything seems to be working fine until the step where I am making the connection from Keycloak to LDAP.
When I provide the Connection URL as ldap://localhost:10389 and click on the Test Connection then I get the error:
Error! Error when trying to connect to LDAP. See server.log for details
I am not sure what's wrong because when I check in the Apache Directory Studio there everything seems to be working fine for me and I am able to get all the users list etc. I am not sure why I am unable to make the connection from Keycloak to LDAP.
I tried the following things but nothing worked for me:
ldap://localhost:10389
localhost:10389
ldap://127.0.0.1:10389
ldap://localhost:389
Stopped the docker in the dashboard and started again.
After trying a lot I found the solution. Posting the answer as it can be useful to someone else in the future.
I was using the localhost and 127.0.0.1 which was not working. Finally, I checked the IP Address of my system using the terminal (for mac ipconfig) and tried that and it worked:
ldap://192.168.1.12:10389

Error in Connection Testing in Mule Database connector

I am trying to connect mysql database with mulesoft database connector, but it is giving error while I do test Connection. I am not able to figure out what is wrong I am doing. Could you please put me in right direction?
Please ask for more information you need from me.
The problem you are facing is not because of Mule component. There may be several other reasons at MySQL side.
As you can see that your credentials are processed by MySQL however denied. This suggests that the problem may not be directly
related with credentials because if credentials were wrong the error would have been different then denied.
When credentials are denied, the problem is mostly related with:
Permission issue - Solution >> Grant permission to use "db_name" from "Localhost"
Your connection string looks fine but sometimes string encoding result this error
Some installed components are interfering with MySql -> Check the components installation
Also
LOCALHOST and "machine name" aren't the same to MySQL.
I'd check from the command line that you can connect to localhost:
mysql --user=<user_name> --password db_name
Enter password: your_password
If it fails, connect and run this with the appropriate permissions:
create user db_name#localhost identified by 'db_name';
grant select on <user_name>.* to db_name#localhost;
Never mind :) I found the solution although did not find what the problem was only suspecting that the root was not having any schema privileges ( as shown by MySQL Workbench GUI).
Earlier I was using command line with which I am not well versed; after struggling a little I downloaded MySQL workbench and added one more user with all administrative and schema privileges and used that to connect with Database connector and God Damn!! it's working.

Bluemix APIConnect Publishing a loopback project from command line

I am following the APIC tutorial documented here:
Publishing a project from the command line
I have gone through the steps in the tutorial to get into the APIConnect dashboard in Bluemix and into the Sandbox catalog.
I get the baseURL under api management:
e.g. https://api.us.apiconnect.ibmcloud.com/FREDusibmcom-dev/sb
Then I use that to
apic config:set
catalog=apic-catalog://api.us.apiconnect.ibmcloud.com/orgs/FREDusibmcom-dev/catalogs/sb
app=apic-app://api.us.apiconnect.ibmcloud.com/orgs/FREDusibmcom-dev/apps/acme-bank-Fred
After this as per the instructions, I try to login using my Bluemix credentials
apic login --server api.us.apiconnect.ibmcloud.com -u fred -p mypassword
This fails with:
ERROR Login to api.us.apiconnect.ibmcloud.com failed, please verify the servername and credential
Am I doing something wrong in regards to the servername or credentials that I am using? Thanks!
For your server argument in the login command, use us.apiconnect.ibmcloud.com instead. I think the api portion is throwing things off.
Once successful there, I also recommend that you run apic edit and proceed to Log in with Bluemix there, as that will ensure that you're able to publish applications to Bluemix from the CLI or API Designer.
I assume you used your actual username/password, and not "fred/mypassword".
If so, then the problem may be with the Bluemix URL. There's now a simpler way to get the app identifier and catalog identifier (and to make sure you have the right Bluemix base URL). The catalog & app tiles now have a link icon that you can click to easiy copy the catalog/app identifers:
Geting the catalog identifier
The Bluemix base URL will the part immediately following apic-catalog:// in the catalog identifier.
We're in the process of updating the docs with this.

Strange Web Deploy access issue

I'm getting an odd problem with connecting to a server.
The server's logs read:
2013-05-21 11:18:24 [IP ADDRESS] HEAD /msdeploy.axd site=[SITE NAME] 8172 administrator [MY IP] - 401 1 1326 214
I am using the administrator account so I can't understand why it's not allowing access!
I am using VS2012 and Web Deploy 3.0 on Server 2008R2 x86.
UPDATE
When using the command msdeploy.exe -verb:dump -source:iisApp=<sitename>,username=administrator,password=<urpassword>,authtype=‌basic,computername=https://<yourserver>:8172/msdeploy.axd?Site=<sitename> -authtype=basic as suggested by #ShaikhOwais I get the following error:
Error Code: ERROR_USER_UNAUTHORIZED
More Information: Connected to the remote computer ("[COMPUTER NAME]") using the Web Management Service, but could not authorize. Make sure that you are using the correct user name and password, that the site you are connecting to exists, and that the credentials represent a user who has permissions to access the site.
"Make sure that you are using the correct user name and password" - yep.
"that the site you are connecting to exists" - yep
"the credentials represent a user who has permissions to access the site" - it's the administrator...
As stated in the comment above, you need to qualify the username with the domain to which your admin user belongs.
Your script should thus be:
msdeploy.exe -verb:dump -source:iisApp=<sitename>,username=
<DOMAIN>\administrator,password=<urpassword>,authtype=‌
basic,computername=https://<yourserver>:8172/msdeploy.axd?Site=<sitename>
-authtype=basic
It happen with me and it was share permissions issue that time
Can you try "net use \server\c$\path\to\fodler" and see if you can access this directory?
If it does not help can you please reply -
Are you getting first time this error ? was you able to web deploy on the same server earlier or you are doing first time with this server ?

Openfire database settings issue in mac

I have Openfire 3.7.1 installed on my Mac and have XAMPP installed aswell. I am having trouble configuring OpenFire. In the server settings I have given san-imac.local.lan as the domain name. The selected Standard database connection and picked MySql Database Driver. This is the databse URL jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/test and given the username password of XAMPP phpmyadmin. But it says
A connection to the database could not be made. View the error message by opening the "/logs/error.log" log file, then go back to fix the problem.
First of all there is no such file in the /logs folder. What should I do to get this working and follow the procedures to get OpenFire up and running.
I need to build an app to connect to openfire for IM chatting like Gmail, Facebook, Yahoo using XMPP. If anybody could provide any guidance aswell, it will be very helpful.
Make Sure that your database is setup correctly including the name of your database, database username, and user's password. If you have this correctly configured then your opens ire should work just fine. Note that it will not accept if the database username has an empty password or not enough access rights to the database.
I hope that those hints will solve your problem.
check your password and username, I had the same error and it took me a while to figure out that I had my username wrong.
Resolved the issue.
log file is not getting created due to file write permission. To resolve this run OF server as follows
Run the openfire.sh file from terminal with sudo. This will start the OF with root access Now the error log file will be created.
My log file has error message as access denied to user #localhost. As I kept the user field blank in db connection page of openfire set up.
Keep the user field as root#localhost if u are using localhost.
