Screen won't detach using ctrl+a d

I'm not sure if this is the right platform for this question, but if it's not, I'd be happy to post elsewhere.
I've ssh'd into a server to run some stuff in R, and now that it's running, I'm not able to detach the screen using "ctrl+a d". When I type ctrl+a d, I get either "^A d", or nothing.
I found this post, which suggested that I open a second terminal window and remotely detach the screen, but when I typed in "screen -ls" I got back "No Sockets found in /run/screen/S-user", which is strange considering that a smaller version of this script ran perfectly/saved objects to Cyberduck as instructed, so I know my script is running.
For context, I'm running a Mac OSX, and the server I'm ssh'ing into is a linux.
Thanks in advance for any advice!

Laggy OpenSSH on M1 Mac?

Typing can be very laggy when remote into other computers via OpenSSH from M1 Mac Book Air.
Both builtin Teminal.app and iTerm2 behave the same.
Usually it starts fine, but quickly becomes laggy. This is dangerous and has caused serious problems for me...
Current walkaround that works for me is to execute ssh forcing x84 arch like so
arch -x86_64 /bin/zsh -c "ssh user#server..."
Is this a known issue or just happening to me somehow? Anyone else experiencing this as well? Is there better or more preferred way to fix this?
Thanks.

Installing Genymotion in docker

Was anyone able to install Genymotion in docker? Please help me with the required steps. Tried googling couldn't find much details.
I tried emulator with WebDriver but it seems to be very slow. Any suggestions in improving this also helps.

When i run ssh in cygwin, nothing happens

I recently installed ssh in cygwin, but when I tried to run it, absolutely nothing happens. No error, no waiting, it just goes directly to the next line in cygwin. I tried the same exact command on the same network with my friend's version of cygwin and it worked. Any ideas?
It seems others have had this problem, take a look at this thread
https://serverfault.com/questions/26150/ssh-does-nothing-no-matter-what-command-line-it-get-cygwin
It seems the recommended fix is a reinstall.
