How User can add Order Line Note or at less Order Note or Metadata? - e-commerce

Does Saleor have some minimum implementation of interaction for receiving data from client
I need to receive some data from client for special product that will be created and send to him.
As for me the best way will be order Line Note editable by user
I've tried to add new fields to CartLine after to CheckoutLine, but it's not good way because i need to modify #saleor/sdk in frontend and modify backend API.
I've tried to esaminate different custom fields like:
customerNote (OrderAddNote)
OrderLine
OrderLineInput
OrderLineCreateInput
CheckoutLine
CheckoutLineInput
CheckoutCreateInput
MetaStore
MetaItem
MetaClientStore
Metadata
and found that in all of them some notes can create only stuff users.
My question is:
What is the best way to have interaction with customer? If there is noting: Is it reasonable to change permission for Add Metadata o Add Note.
PS. How can I see metadata in dashboard orders

Metadata can be created / updated for a checkout without any special permissions and can be seen and edited from the Dashboard. Customer notes can be used as well, but have less features.

Custom field in a new ticket creation by agent: Dropdown list that its values are live updated

I want to create a custom field in the agent new ticket screen.
I want the field to be shown as a dropdown list where the values in the dropdown list will be values taken from an API of other service.
I know Zendesk custom fields have an option to upload a csv file with options but since I want to the values to be live updated it won't work for me.
I'm wondering whether I need to create a plugin that will do that job or Zendesk have a solution for this need.
I am not sure this is a suitable stackoverflow questions, but if you have control over the backend of the other service, it is better to automate a call from it to Zendesk custom fields API whenever there are changes to the drop down options.
However, this is a bad idea in the first place because drop down options are associated to tags. There might be conflicts with other field options or other tags used by agents. This will be a nightmare for the data analysts who rely on tags for Zendesk Explore reports, especially if you delete an options and its associated tags.

How to determine if a Shopify order was placed via the Amazon channel?

I am querying the Shopify API for a specific order and I would like to know how to determine if the order was placed in our Amazon Seller channel and sent to Shopify as it is described in Shopify's documentation: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/sell-online/amazon-sales-channel/processing-orders. On the section "Fulfilling Orders" of that page it reads:
All new orders placed through Amazon appear in your orders list and
are marked as Amazon.

I could not find any indication that the order might come via Amazon. I did find the fulfillment service (just a simple Ctrl F "amazon") but that is a different thing.
Being a Shopify Plus customer we asked their Guru Support team how they implement the "marked as Amazon" part and the response was:
Guru: Looking at all your orders you won't be able to
differentiate. When you click through to a singular order though,
you'll be able to see in its timeline that it came from Amazon instead
of your Online store.
My team: mmm so if I connect though the API
"orders.json?id=xxxx" the only way I can check it came from amazon is
though the timeline?
Guru: As far as I'm aware that's the case. I can check with our
development team to see if there's another indicator. Would I be able
to email you back with any additional findings?
Of course my team is still waiting on an answer from them but I bet someone at SO has already been in this situation before.
Some might want to know why I need to know the order source. We are sending these orders from Shopify into Netsuite via a Celigo connector. Amazon orders need to hit a different GL account than the normal Shopify orders and my task is to code the correct mapping based on some differentiating element or name/value pair from the JSON response.
When an order comes down the JSON has a field called source_name and the value should be something like this: sell-on-amazon

How to configure OCI catalog for ME51N?

We have a requirement to connect to an external catalog from ME51N tcode (Purchase Requisition). This integration must be done entirely from ECC side and shouldn't be linked with SRM.
I have tried configuring the OCI on two different places. Let me explain the results and doubts for each. I don't need the two solutions, just one that gives me what I require.
Path: SPRO-> IMG-> Materials Management-> Purchasing-> Environment Data-> Web Services: ID and Description
Here I was able to configure the connection to the Catalog, and after defining it as default I get the button on ME51N's toolbar to get to the catalog. I'm able to select the data and return it to the purchase requisition. However some data that the client is sending is not the same as we have configured in our materials management, e.g. if they send a material group that we don't have the received material group is deleted and I can't see what the catalog returned for that field.
I've searched for a way to map these fields, and possibly insert some Z code to map those values and fill them like we need to, but I havent found anything that is usefull, most documentation is made for SRM, not for ECC.
So, how can I map/configure these values returned from the catalog? I'm currently looking at BADI ME_PROCESS_REQ_CUST to makes changes based on what the Catalog returned, but this is too late, as not configured values have already been deleted by then.
Since I couldn't configure this, I tried another way, using this other path, that does give me the option of mapping the fields from the catalog to SAP's standard fields, and even the possibility to set exits to add personal logic.
Path: SPRO-> IMG-> Plant Maintenance and Customer Service-> Maintenance and Service Processing-> Maintenance and Service Orders-> Interface for Procurement Using Catalogs (OCI)-> Define Catalogs.
However I haven't been able to display a link to these catalogs in ME51N.
Can these Catalogs be linked to ME51N?

Well, I have no catalog by my hands now, but the procedure for connecting catalog to ERP via OCI seems to be the following:
You should make proper customization in the path
SPRO-> IMG-> Plant Maintenance and Customer Service-> Maintenance and Service Processing-> Maintenance and Service Orders-> Interface for Procurement Using External Catalogs
To adjust automatic Purchase Requisition creation you should set item category to N (non-stock item).
And also you should activate method COMPONENT_VIA_CATALOG_GET in BAdI PLM_CATALOG_IF.

POST Order with values for configurable product fields?

I've successfully got 3rd party merchant orders posting new orders to my client's BigCommerce store programmatically. I've even got product options posting as part of the order (product->option set-> option relationships are a total cluster).
My client relies heavily on configurable fields. I'm able to pull the definitions of the configurable fields for each product, but can't find a way to POST or update the configurable field values through the API.
Is it possible to manipulate an order's configurable fields through the API?
Got a response from the support team # BigCommerce. Manipulating configurable fields via the API is not currently possible and not currently on the roadmap.

Unfortunately that is a product limitation with the API, it will not tie to configurable fields on the product. The best you can do is attach that information through a generic text field like 'staff_notes'. Honestly I have not heard of any talk of adding a way to add products with configurable fields to orders via the API. I think this may be because anything that can be done with configurable fields can be done with options and options are what is being pushed for the future. I have noted this feedback down though and will pass it along to our Product Manager for the API. Best case scenario is that it may be seen in a future version of the API which is at least several months away.
