Hi i want to upload files in wwwroot folder when click save button, can you help me?
Click this Image Code
There are something maybe you didn't.
In the Startup.cs of your project in ConfigureServices method add this:
services.AddScoped<IFileUpload, FileUpload>();
Add this script in your _Host.cshtml in the body:
<script src="_content/BlazorInputFile/inputfile.js"></script>
You can also use this:

My folder structure of Angular 10 project is given below
-Backend
-e2e
-node_modules
-src
I want to access backend/uploads/profilepic.jpg in the angular's index.html page. Simply, i just want to load an image file in the front end which is uploaded in the backend folders.
A static resource, like an image, is either bundled inside the angular webapp, by adding it to the assets folder (e.g. 'src\assets\images') and have that folder referenced inside angular.json:
"assets": [
"src/assets"
],
Or, make the backend serve that image and simply access it from the frontend like this:
<img alt="xyz" src="https://yourdomain/img_test.png">
If both the backend and frontend are hosted on the same domain, you can use relative path for the URL, i.e https://yourdomain can be omitted.
Finally, I found the solution. In order to access the files of the 'uploads' folder which is located in the backend folder. I have to make that folder static. for that in my server.js file, I have added below code
app.use('*/uploads',express.static('uploads'));
after that, I could load my image file from that uploads folder by calling
http://localhost:8090/uploads/image.jpg
I have a project in vue and I want to build it with Nuxt.
I have link in footer that I want user to download a PDF file by clicking on it , it works fine on local server but when I build the project I can't find the pdf file .
I stored the file in Static/documents folder
You have to put the .pdf in the static folder. Then to see you go to http://localhost:3000/yourpdf.pdf (localhost o your domain)
Perhaps you forgot to push it the server ? How your are deploying your application ? using git ? if yes check if there is files in the stage with "git status" command
Did you try to access to yourdomain.com/documents/yourfile.pdf ?
i saw Route.config file is located in APP_START folder but i like to know is it mandatory to store Route.config file in APP_START folder?
if yes then please explain in details why do we need to store Route.config file in APP_START folder? can we store Route.config file in other folder or in root folder?
One guy said it is possible but you need to write extra code for use the configuration. i just like to know out of curiosity what code i need to write to put Route.config file in other location. thanks
Of course you could write anywhere you want. It is just simple configuration. But you must make sure your configuration is called by Application_Start() method in Global.asax.cs file. If you look at that method you can see RouteConfig.RegisterRoutes(RouteTable.Routes) is called. You could call your own configuration method or even configure your routing directly there.
I need to use a css template for webpage I am building but I don't know how to use in asp.net mvc4. so How to use CSS Templates with ASP.NET MVC 4 in visual studio 2012 for web application?
It's simple:
Move your css and images into ~/Contents folder.
Move your js files into ~/Scripts folder
Copy and paste your html snippets to cshtml files
On 3rd step you need to port the layout portion of your template to ~/Veiws/Shared/_Layout.cshtml. Here you need to point references to your css and js correctly. For example:
And also you need to be aware that _Layout.cshtml should contain #RenderBody(). That's where all child views will be inserted.
Just found a video with basic demonstration of process: link
It is the same as you use for simpe HTML files. In the solution you can add an existing item and your browse your CSS file which will be added in the Content folder then you have to reference it in the page where it will be used.
If you want to apply all the rules to every page you can reference it in the _Layout.cshtml page which is called before everypage. It is like the container.
You have many options to call it. I will suggest you also reading Bundling and minification in this link which is also interesting to know.
There are Few Steps:
Make Directory inside Content folder in my case mytemplate.
Copy all your template content inside mytemplate folder.
Add new Layout page in View>Shared Folder in my case _mytemplate.cshtml.
open your template Index.html file inside any editor(i.e: Dreamviewer,Notepad etc).
Copy all header stuff from your html file to inside of Header in _mytemplate.cshtml file.
Copy all body stuff Inside of your Index.cshtml to Layout page.
Save your Project by Cntrl+S and Run it in browser. Thats it.
I've deployed laravel with this guide.
http://juniorgrossi.com/deploying-laravel-applications-on-a-shared-host/
On my webserver I have a public_html file now containing all my publicly accesable files and a laravel folder containing the rest, so I've split up the default laravel structure for deployment.
On my development server by default the public folder is resting inside the laravel folder instead of being on the same directory level.
The problem I'm getting though is when I use something like this:
// Upload the file
Input::upload('image', 'public/uploads', $filename);
Same with this.
// Upload the file
Input::upload('image', path('public') . 'uploads', $filename);
Instead of trying to use the uploads folder that is inside my public_html folder it tries looking for a public file inside my laravel folder now.
And I get a
Unable to create the "/uploads" directory
Ofcourse on my development server the public folder is still inside the folder so it's logical.
How do I fix this?
You may try this (add a slash after the folder name)
Input::upload('image', path('public') . 'uploads/', $filename);
Maybe try this....just as a test
Input::upload('image', URL::to_asset('uploads/'), $filename);
You can also try
Intervention/image package.
I'm using this and I find it very easy to use. It also has a resize and crop feature.
It's easy as:
Image::make(Input::file('file')->getRealPath())->save('uploads/' . $filename);
Fixed the paths.php to ../public_html
I've done this before but it failed since I accidentaly uploaded a png and my jcrop function wich crops and saves images failed because it currently onlt takes jpg. So that left me thinking my paths.php settings were no good while they actually were.
Thanks for helping out though everybody!
(I feel like a fool.)
In my case, I got the same problem. Then I created it manually, CHMODed the lil' bastard and it worked fine!
Making a long history short (not so long...): just permission!
If you have the permission to Write/Read to the folder, you'll be cool! If you don't, you change the permissions! If you are unable to change it, put the uploaded files where the permissions allows you to access the file.
