After extracting the zip file. The launchpad.exe is not opening up the setup wizard. Please help me set it up.
WebSphere 7 is no longer supported. See this ref: https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/community/blogs/aimsupport/entry/End_of_Support_for_WebSphere_v7_v8_and_Java_6_in_WebSphere_v8_5_April_2018?lang=en
Also WebSphere 7 isn't normally distributed as a zip file, so I don't know where you got what you're trying to install.
If your company has an extended service agreement, you should contact your IBM Rep for information.

I am trying to setup Unicenta POS on my Windows 10 64 bit machine.
My configuration:
Idempiere server v5.1 (http://127.0.0.1:8080/)
ActiveMQ v5.15.2
(http://127.0.0.1:8161/)
POS Integration plugin (Available
here)
I followed instructions given Here. ActiveMQ is running fine, Unicenta can also send request to ActiveMQ, I can see that in Queues. Idempiere server is also running fine.
I installed POS integration plugin through Felix Web Console. It shows up in the list and It is active. But, that plugin doesn't show up in Idempiere Menu option. Either that plugin has some problems or I am missing something.
I also performed Role Access Update on GardenWorld Client Admin but that didn't change anything. Menu option is still missing.
Please help.
The real issue was that 2Pack did not Pack in into the Database. I had install 2Pack manually and Pack In in my SystemAdmin. After that I logged out and logged in with SuperUser credentials and with GardenAdmin role. And then menu item appeared!
2Pack zip file location - Download
How to Pack In:
Firstly, there are related posts:
GlassFish Server update center installation times out
Java EE 7 updatetool installation fails
I got my Java EE 7 SDK (Update 3) from here: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javaee/downloads/index.html
I have tried each of the solutions in the above posts and here: https://blogs.oracle.com/dipol/troubleshooting-glassfish-update-center
Including:
In the cmd prompt running set PKG_CLIENT_CONNECT_TIMEOUT=300 and set PKG_CLIENT_READ_TIMEOUT=300 before updatetool in C:\glassfish4\bin\updatetool.bat (c:\glassfish4 in my install directory - all settings were default, including install update tool...).
Set above mentioned timeout to much larger values - doesn't appear to make a difference at all, the process basically bombs immediately.
Running C:\glassfish4\bin\updatetool.bat many times.
Triple checking that I didn't somehow configure a proxy server in my sleep.
Use the update tool via the Glassfish admin console at http://localhost:4848 (seems to show no available update or add-ons, which seems odd..)
I get the following screenshot when I run C:\glassfish4\bin\updatetool.bat
I have no idea why the error would be proxy related, unless it happened to be something on their end. Interestingly, If I go directly to the URL mentioned (via Chrome) I get the following page:
What could possibly be going wrong here?
The updatetool was a commercial feature of Oracle GlassFish. Any update functionality relied on Oracle providing a site where updates could be hosted. Since Oracle GlassFish is no longer supported, this site no longer exists so the updatetool won't work any more.
Rather than downloading GlassFish from Oracle, you should download it from the official open source site, hosted on GitHub. Alternatively, if you really do need support, you could try Payara Server which is open source, and derived from GlassFish, but has support available (disclaimer: I work for Payara)
I am using Qlikview version 11.20.12758.0 SR10 64-bit and SAP v6.0.
After installing QV SAP connector v6.0, i am trying to connect to SAP by passing relevant details - IP, Client Id, System number, User, Pass. Facing below error message:
Mismatch between SAP Transport and connector versions. Please import the correct SAP transport. Unable to retrieve transport version from system. Invalid parameter 'RFC_FUNCTION_HANDLE' was passed to the API call
Referred following links, however, issue persists:
https://community.qlik.com/thread/99142
https://community.qlikview.com/thread/139623
https://qlikcommunity.qliktech.com/thread/142955
Consulted SAP guy to know if there is issue with Access rights, however, access is also available on the User.
I learnt that after QvSAPconnector, it should show Transports folder under path: C:\Program Files\Common Files\QlikTech\Custom Data\QvSAPConnector\
However, Transports folder is missing.
Please guide me to resolve this error. Thank you!
In order to be able to use the SAP Connectors (whether you are connecting to ERP or SAP BW), you will need to import transports provided by Qlik into your system(s) as these are needed for Qlik's connectors to function. These transports contain various "helper" programs (such as the version check as shown in your error message screenshot) as well as authorisation objects that are needed.
Depending on the connector that you are using, in the case of the "SAP" connector, you will need to import the relevant transports, and this also depends on the version of the system that you are going to be importing the transports into.
More information on which transports you should use are given here:
http://help.qlik.com/en-US/connectors/Subsystems/SAP_Connectors_Help/Content/6.4/Installation/Installing-the-transports.htm
As mentioned in the above link:
Data extraction and user profile transports are installed in the SAP
system. These are available in the following folder on the computer,
copied there during the installation of the Qlik SAP Connector:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\QlikTech\Custom Data\QvSAPConnector\Transports
I noticed that you uploaded an image of a different folder which just contains the SAP Connector logs. The transports are always installed in the above location.
Once the transports are imported, you should then be able to use the connectors to connect and extract data.
I'm catching the error gsk error 408 (GSK_ERROR_BAD_KEYFILE_PASSWORD) from the IHS plugins logs. IBM is recommending me the next steps to fix it:
http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21177702
What are the .kdb and .sth files function? If I want to generete the .sth file again, Do I need to keep the application servers (liberty) running? Where can I find more information about these files related to the IBM platform?
The *.kdb is a collection of SSL certificates and keys. It's password-protected. The *.sth is where the obfuscated password is stored.
You can recate the *.sth with the command line tools provided by IHS and the WAS plugin. See $IHSROOT/bin/gskcapicmd -keydb -stashpw.
The *.sth file has no real relationship the application server or any JVM. It's read by the WebServer Plugin at startup.
I have installed MobileFirst 6.3 appcenter console, worklight console successfully, they are operating fine on Tomcat/7.0.57. However when I try to install Operational Analytics, the documentation has the following
http://www-01.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSHS8R_6.3.0/com.ibm.worklight.installconfig.doc/monitor/c_op_analytics_installation_tomcat.html
I am using tomcat manager http://localhost:8080/html to deploy the war files. logging in as manager, with the manager-gui role.
worklight-analytics.war - deployed with no issues
when I select the worklight-analytics-service.war file and deploy in the GUI, it throws a blank page first, indicating "connection error", and when I refresh the page, on the status bar in Tomcat manager GUI, I get this message - "FAIL - Tried to use command /upload via a GET request but POST is required";
Please provide some direction on what I need to do get this fixed. I am not sure If I have provided all required information - please bear with me and ask, if anything relevant (obviously I can't figure out what is relevant yet) is required to debug.
So I was able to reproduce your error and I saw this in the logs:
java.lang.IllegalStateException:
org.apache.tomcat.util.http.fileupload.FileUploadBase$SizeLimitExceededException:
the request was rejected because its size (57353297) exceeds the
configured maximum (52428800)
It looks like by default, the web UI will only upload WARs of size 50MB or smaller. The analytics service WAR file is larger than this, so that is why this is failing. I was able to increase the limit by modifying the following lines in
/webapps/manager/WEB-INF/web.xml
<max-file-size>100000000</max-file-size>
<max-request-size>100000000</max-request-size>
This will increase the limit to 100MB. After I did this, I was able to successfully deploy the service WAR.
Just as a heads up, once you get the WAR deployed, you'll be presented with the login page. You'll need a tomcat user with the 'worklightadmin' role in order to get past the login screen.
The worklight-analytics-service WAR file does not have a user interface. It is simply referenced by the worklight-analytics WAR file. When both WARs have been deployed, can you see the analytics console? And does data load just fine? If so, then everything is fine. There is only an issue if you are unable to use the user interface provided by the worklight-analytics WAR file.
