Reactive form validation in angular 5 with bootstrap 4 - angular5

I am working to develop a secure form using angular 5 and Bootstrap 4. How can I validate form runtime before form submission? Please guide or share any article regarding reactive validation in angular 5. Where I can learn validation about the text, number, email, description etc.
This is my first question at StackOverflow. Thank you.

For reactive forms, instead of adding validators through attributes in the template, you add validator functions directly to the form control model in the component class. Angular then calls these functions whenever the value of the control changes.
Here's an example of form validation in reactive forms using built-in validators.

Vue replaces "open" attribute to value "open" in any tag

I'm using vue.js (v2.6.12) components in laravel blade templates.
For the project, I'm also using MathML in which I need to use the open attribute of <mfenced> tag to be set to some custom values. Here is the example of the math expressing in mathml.

But as soon as the page renders, the open attribute is converted into this open="open". I'm 100% sure there is no other library or script is loaded that updates like so, just plain vue. This actually breaks the math expression. So it looks like this:

Later I realized that not only in math expression, litaratily any tag, be it <div open="anything">...</div>, <span open="anything">...</span>, <custom-element open="something">...</custom-element> having open attribute behaves the same. even if I use v-pre attribute to exclude it from vue js templete compiler.
And this do not happen, as soon I disable the vue app initialization.
The question here are:
Why vue is changing the open attribute like so?
How can I stop this behaviour, to the entire page within the vue application area or at least where I choose (something like using v-pre), is there ary config or any other way around?
Why
In HTML spec there are some attributes called boolean attributes. Spec dictates what can be a value of such attribute:
If the attribute is present, its value must either be the empty string or a value that is an ASCII case-insensitive match for the attribute's canonical name, with no leading or trailing whitespace.
The values "true" and "false" are not allowed on boolean attributes. To represent a false value, the attribute has to be omitted altogether.
open is one of the boolean attributes - it is defined for the <details> element
Problem with Vue 2 is, that it treats most of the boolean attributes as global - without considering the element it is placed on. Result is that open attribute is always rendered with value "open" or removed if the value is falsy (when v-binding). This is fixed in Vue 3 as shown in 2nd example...

The use of v-pre is the way to go but unfortunately for you there is a bug.
See this issue. The bug was already fixed with this commit(Sep 21, 2020) but it was not released yet...

One workaround is to create a directive (named "attr") that sets the attribute:

I've found a simple hack to solve this problem.
Why hack?
Because it is eventually going to be fixed in the comming release as pointed by #Michal, so just a quick & dirty hack is enough for now to go for it.
What I did is I placed the math content in the content and also added it to the data attribute and replacing the original content after vue has done its bad work (sorry just using blade syntax here, but it will make sense). I keep it in both places just for SEO purposes.

One might argue, that I'm mixing up things outside of the scope of the vue application. For me that is not an issue, as the whole page is using vue.js and also the single thing don't make any harm even if there is another scope that is using mathml (though it depends on actual implementation).
In that case, if you want to scope it well, just use $el of vue.

Vue seems to be calling all custom directives more often than expected. Why, can this be avoided?

I'm only a few months into vue coming from an angularjs background.
I built my first custom directive and it's acting a little odd to me.

It kinda works...the part that I didn't understand is that my v-silly directive is called when any of the other fields are updated too. It seems to be related to the model but I only want my directive called when the field changes.
Any ideas??
It's an expected behaviour as the component updates whenever a piece of its data object is updated. To not trigger the logic too many times, you can create an event listener when the directive is bound to its parent and then run the logic when a desired event happens.

In case you plan to listen to the changes of v-model directive, bear in mind that it uses different events based on what element it's bound to. You can read more about that topic in v-model documentation.
v-model internally uses different properties and emits different events for different input elements:
text and textarea elements use value property and input event;
checkbox and radiobutton inputs use checked property and change event;
select fields use value as a prop and change as an event.
Also, from my experience when it comes to the form validation; I've done it using the directives and regretted it afterwards. I found it best to create reusable functions and create the custom form validation for every form. See custom form validation for more.

How to add different components to the page on-the-fly with Vue.js

My goal is to allow the user to dynamically build a form from different components, based on what they choose in a select element. For example, they can choose to add a Heading, then maybe a Paragraph, then another Heading, etc. Each "part" is a separate Component.
I know this sort of thing has been asked before, but I'm only day 2 into Vue and I think I'm 90% of the way there - I'm just missing something. What I believe I'm stuck on is how to add a component to my app's data to allow Vue to render it out.

I've read through the docs and Google'd the hell out of the topic, but every setup seems to be just different enough that I can't figure out how to apply it.
I was missing the fact that in the markup, the :is directive causes Vue to create a component that matches the name of the element in existingParts. So push()-ing "part-heading" into existingParts causes Vue to render an instance of the "part-heading" component.
The updated, working code is:

Vue - Added Nested Attributes Become Reactive But Why?

From the documentation (https://v2.vuejs.org/v2/guide/reactivity.html), I was under the impression that all attributes of an object need to be in the Vue data object to be reactive, unless they're explicitly added using Vue.set(object, key, value), or this.$set(object, key, value).
However, I'm using Rails with Vue and any data attribute I collect in a form, whether it's initially in the data object or not, becomes reactive. I'm using Jbuiler to build JSON objects, but I don't think that's affecting the reactivity, since if I remove the attributes there, they're still reactive when collected in the form. I've tried attributes that are on the object in Rails and ones that aren't, in Jbuilder or not, added via the console or not. All become reactive. This is great, but not the behavior I expect, so I 'd like to understand it.

When I start typing in the product.location field, the output immediately appears on the screen, so it appears to be reactive. Examining the object in the console reveals a reactive getter and reactive setter for the product.location. The attribute isn't initially in the Vue console devtool but it appears as soon as I start typing in the field.
So, what gives?
From the documentation link above:
When you pass a plain JavaScript object to a Vue instance as its data option, Vue will walk through all of its properties and convert them to getter/setters using Object.defineProperty.
In other words, everything defined on component instance is reactive. This allows watcher instance to update all dependent values and virtual DOM.
$set method is used to ensure that reactivity works for deeply nested objects/arrays or previously not defined properties.
In addition, v-model directive uses $set method to update values, so even if value did not have getters and setter initially, those will be added after value has been updated.

Vue.js - Typeahead Directive

I am trying to write a Vue Directive for typeahead.js functionality. I was able to instantiate typeahead on the input form control and also assign it options and dataset. Event handling too was not a problem.
The Issue :
Now, I also want to control the typeahead input element from the component. For example, I would like to control these methods $(el).typeahead('destroy') or $(el).typeahead('open'), etc. from the component.
How can i call these methods from the Component? Is it possible ?
Ok, I just figured it out 2 minutes after typing the question.
I add a ref to the input tag.
