Apache Ofbiz 13 remove a hot-deploy component - apache

So I'm started using Apache Ofbiz (13) and I came across their beginners tutorial here. Within the tutorial they mention a command:
ant create-component
Which is used to create a component in hot-deploy, so my question is what is the command to delete a component which you have created?
I've tried:
ant remove-component <component_name>
and,
ant delete-component <component_name>
I can't find any documentation in regards to it.

There is no corresponding Ant target to remove a component. Just delete the component folder and the entry in the hot-deply ofbiz-component.xml.
If you start with OFBiz, I recommend to use trunk or the 16.11 release. Release 13 is not supported and maintained anymore.

Is the ddd() helper not working in Laravel 9?

I upgraded to Laravel 9 the other day, and now the ddd() helper is failing with the error Call to undefined function ddd(). I found this post on the Laracasts forum, but at time of writing there is only a single reply that states that the facade/ignition was replaced with spatie/laravel-ignition. I did not see anything in the documentation for the new package that mentions anything changing with ddd(), is there an additional configuration or something that is needed to re-enable ddd()?
Take a look at this https://github.com/facade/ignition/pull/201#event-2712168617
jasonvarga deleted the ddd branch 2 years ago
And you are right about not seeing any documentation about it in changelogs as well.
I heard this ddd() helper for the first time from you, so thax for that.
Please do check out the documentation of both of the packages.
Here facade / ignition and spatie / laravel-ignition
Both packages saying the same thing that
spatie/laravel-ignition works for Laravel 8 and 9 applications running
on PHP 8.0 and above. Looking for Ignition for Laravel 5.x, 6.x or 7.x
or old PHP versions? facade/ignition is still compatible.
In spatie/laravel-ignition version 1.2.0, ddd() was added back in! If you are not able to use ddd(), first check your composer.json file to make sure that your spatie/laravel-ignition version is 1.2.0 or above.
"require-dev": {
"spatie/laravel-ignition": "^1.2.3"
}

IntelliJ error: cannot find symbol #javax.annotation.Generated [duplicate]

This question already has answers here:
I use gRPC to generate java code '#javax.annotation.Generated' and it reports 'Error:(20,18) java: cannot find symbol'. How to solve it?

Closed 6 months ago.
This is my first time using IntelliJ so this is probably just a basic question but alas I have it anyways.
I have cloned a github project into IntelliJ that uses gradle. I import and first thing it says is that gradle is not set up right, so I set it up according to the following:
gradle prefrences Java version 14.0.1. Then it said the SDK was still not set up so I again set that up for again version even though I am not using Android.
I can successfully run a few of the grade tests but all of my java code no longer links methods and when I run the tests (directly from github without any changes yet) I get an error: cannot find symbol #javax.annotation.Generated(
Also all of the methods in my example seem to no longer link. I have a screenshot of this too.
Any guidance is appreciated, probably a problem in the set up? I found this symbol error a few times but no resolution that helped. I tried invalidating caches and restarting a few times. I deleted the .idea files a few times. tried a different repository in git and still having the same errors.
Thanks!
Simply add the javax annotation dependency into your build.gradle.
dependencies {
//...
implementation 'javax.annotation:javax.annotation-api:1.3.2'
//...
}
like so.

Not able to add implementation 'com.google.android.libraries.places:places:2.2.0'

I am trying to add Places SDK for android.
I am following the following documentation
https://developers.google.com/places/android-sdk/start and
https://developers.google.com/places/android-sdk/client-migration
Unfortunately i am not able to add dependency "implementation 'com.google.android.libraries.places:places:2.2.0'"
I have gone through following links. But no use. Please help me with this.
Failed to resolve: com.google.android.libraries.places:1.0.0:
Google's new Places Library ( implementation 'com.google.android.libraries.places:1.0.0') not resolving
Finally i found solution to my issue.
I solved it by installing the compatibility library.
Followed this. https://developers.google.com/places/android-sdk/client-migration
Following two steps resolved my issue.
Copy the contents of places_compat_compatify.sh, and save as a file to your local computer.
Use the following command to run the compatibility script
./places_compat_compatify.sh 2.1.0
After this, I could run my project successfully and could Place API.
Thanks

Why CMSAdapter and contenthub is not available?

As per Stanbol documentation, I've checked-out source code (% svn co http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/stanbol/trunk stanbol) and after did maven build. All is fine. Now I've started executable jar (org.apache.stanbol.launchers.full-1.0.0-SNAPSHOT).
After starting this I do not see any menu option to open CMSAdapter and contenthub. I can only see /enhancer, /topic, /entityhub, /sparql, /ontonet, /rules, and /reasoners in the menu option.
Here is the localhost page -
When I saw the checked-out directory then I did not find folders corresponding to cmsadpater and contenthub.
After I tried to download complete zip from source again and now i can see cmsadpater and contenthub -
But I'm getting error during build.
Please suggest what I'm missing here.
[ERROR] Failed to execute goal on project org.apache.stanbol.launchers.full: Could not resolve dependencies for project org.apache.stanbol:org.apache.stanbol.launchers.full:jar:0.12.0: Failure to find org.apache.sling:org.apache.sling.launchpad:xml:bundlelist:8 in https://repo.maven.apache.org/maven2 was cached in the local repository, resolution will not be reattempted until the update interval of central has elapsed or updates are forced
ContentHub and CMSAdapter components have been discontinued from version 1.x. You can still find them at 0.12.x branch (https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/stanbol/branches/release-0.12/)
Hope that helps

Couchapp - default template not found when running `couchapp generate ...` on Windows

After thorough browsing I decided to post here as I could not find a working prompt on the problem.
I installed CouchDB and Couchapp (in version 1.0.0, freshest one on Github) on Win8 machine and when I try to run couchapp generate app contacts I get:
2014-11-21 22:01:00 [ERROR] couchapp error: Can't create a CouchApp in C:\Users\
Michal\Desktop\contacts: default template not found.
I have not so far dug deeper into the Couchapp code to see if I can fix it. Fixes applied by Couchapp creator, Benoit, don't work for me.
All advice/constructive criticism much appreciated.
OK, I got it working - all that was needed was to include an environment variable for couchapp.exe. So, if you are installing a standalone version of Couchapp from the downloads section ( https://github.com/downloads/couchapp/couchapp/couchapp-1.0.0-win.zip, e.g. ) you NEED TO MAKE SURE that you first of all execute the installer and then point you environment variables Path to it, that's all. Hope it helps.
