I have forgotten SSH password from Remote Server, but it is saved in IDE (PhpStorm 2017.1) in hidden way:
Is there any way to view hidden password?
I finally could retrieve password from PhpStorm 2017.1:
Go to Settings/Preferences | Appearance & Behavior | System Settings | Passwords, enter new master password and save.
Open /.PhpStorm2017.1/config/c.kdbx (in "Keepass 2" or "Keeweb") with saved master password.
Here it is!

I was wondering if anyone successfully automated the LastPass CLI login process. I cannot seem to get around the password prompt, which I need to automate to make it useful.
I've tried commands like
echo <password> | lpass login <username>
or
yes <password> | lpass login <username>
I keep getting output saying the password is not correct. Has anyone automated this?
Thanks!
You would probably need to disable the pinetry password prompt so that lpass reads your password from standard input.
As the man pages say:
If pinentry program is unavailable, or if the LPASS_DISABLE_PINENTRY environment variable is set to 1, passwords will be read from standard input and a prompt will be displayed on standard error.
Meaning: It should work if you run it like this:
echo <password> | LPASS_DISABLE_PINENTRY=1 lpass login <username>
Or by just setting the environment variable for your shell (export LPASS_DISABLE_PINENTRY=1 in your ~/.profile or similar)
I installed HANA Express in a VMware Workstation environment, and also Eclipse 4.6 with the HANA administrator plugin. Both VMWare and Eclipse run on Windows 10. I can start HANA with no issues, however when I try to connect from the Eclipse plugin the connection fails.
The tutorial to configure the HANA administrator plugin in Eclipse instructs to enter SYSTEM as user and then a password. The problem is that in the HANA Express tutorial the only user that seems to be set up is the "database master" (see text below). Therefore, I don't have the SYSTEM password and I don't know the "database master" user (even though I know the password). How to make this work?
Step 3: Startup: Configuration Script
A configuration script will run if this is the first login. When prompted
for HANA database master password, enter a strong password.
Tip: Make a note of this password, since you’ll need it later. You can enter
the same password you used earlier, or a new password. If you are entering a
new password, see the password rules earlier in this tutorial.
XSA_ADMIN
XSA_DEV
XSA_SHINE
TEL_ADMIN
When prompted to Confirm “HANA database master password”, enter the strong
password again.
This is the error I get in Eclipse log:
The SYSTEM password is the same as the master database password for HXE. If that does not work, try HXEHana1
Also, I see you are trying to connect to instance number 00. If the HXE VM is 2.0 sps00 or higher, the default instance number is 90.
You can rule out connectivity problems by running the following from the Virtual Machine's console:
hdbsql -n localhost -i 90 -d SYSTEMDB -u SYSTEM
This will connect to your instance and prompt for the password for user SYSTEM so you can confirm which one is right before configuring HANA Studio.
I had the same issue.
I used user : XSA_ADMIN and the HANA password chosen as part of the tutorial.
Its now connected.

When I'm forced to change my Windows AD account password IntelliJ is no longer able to perform any CVS action (e.g. update) on any checked out class files.
Right-click on class file->CVS->Update
Then the Messages console appears with "Error: Authentication failed. Response from server was: PAM authenticate error: Authentication failure"
I manage to workaround this by clearing the .cvspass file referenced under Settings->Version Control->CVS. It doesn't feel like a very elegant solution. I would have expected a prompt of some sort to re-enter my new password.
Is this the only way to getting cvs to work after updating the password?
I did find a compromise (somewhat). No need to delete the entire .cvspass file. I just open it and remove the line that has the repo that's giving me problems at the time.
I downloaded the most recent version of XAMPP (v.1.7.7) and decided start a database. When I opened phpMyAdmin, it alerts me there is a new version of phpMyAdmin available. I downloaded it from online, and I deleted the old version of phpMyAdmin and replaced it with the current version (v.3.5.1). I opened it up and it came up with a log-in screen. I entered in "root" without a password, but it alerts me I need one. I don't know any password nor I know any alternative log-ins. How would I log-in to enter phpMyAdmin?
Enabling login without a password, to make it work exactly as before
You'll need to change your configuration file. Open up your XAMPP installation directory, browse to the folder phpmyadmin, and look for a file called config.inc.php. If there isn't one already, you'll first need to copy config.sample.inc.php to config.inc.php. Then, just open config.inc.php and find this line:
$cfg['Servers'][$i]['AllowNoPassword'] = false;
Change it to:
$cfg['Servers'][$i]['AllowNoPassword'] = true;
Alternatively, just add a password
Open a command prompt and type this, followed by Enter:
mysqladmin -u root -p pass
When it asks you for the current password, just press Enter again. Then set the new password, and log in to phpMyAdmin using that.
Default is:
Username: root
Password: (just leave it blank)
The Password is set to 'password' in some versions.
In new versions note that you have to change your code to like this:
mysqli_connect($mysql_hostname, $mysql_username, $mysql_password, $mysql_dbname);
And for more look to this:
Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function mysql_connect()
Hi
I installed teamcity longtime ago, on my home computer.
I am trying to re-use it again now, but I forgot the admin username and password
Is there a default admin user name?
and how can I get the password?
Thank
From TeamCity 8 you can log in as a super user and change the password that way. You just need to use an empty username and last occurrence of the "super user authentication token" found in the logs\teamcity-server.log file as your password.
Please see the following for more information:
TeamCity 8 - http://confluence.jetbrains.com/display/TCD8/Super+User
TeamCity 9 - http://confluence.jetbrains.com/display/TCD9/Super+User
Ok, so you've forgot username and password in your teamcity instance.
How to reset password: described here.
How to get username:
go to the teamcity data directory
open config\database.properties file
there is connectionUrl property which points out to database which stores some teamcity settings
take a look at users table
Update
After you get the user name you can reset reset its password via the following(copied from linked answer):
Open a command prompt and go to \webapps\ROOT\WEB-INF\lib folder
Run the following: ..\..\..\..\jre\bin\java.exe -cp server.jar;common-api.jar;commons-codec-1.3.jar;util.jar;hsqldb.jar ChangePassword username newpassword
FYI, don't follow the advice of going through the users table. TeamCity is a quality product, so all passwords are salted/hashed (TC 9 below):
mysql [teamcity]> SELECT id, password FROM users;
