I googled it and no help. I am making a program here people register and then they can download some indie games i am creating. But i am having problems with the download function. When i go to download the game / program i am getting a error saying i need a file extension here is the code i am trying

I need it to be like this because it is downloading a games folder that the gaming center will know it is installed so it can open the app.

Let me explain what to do. DownloadFile downloads a file to your PC, and not a folder. Here is the fixed code:
My.Computer.Network.DownloadFile("C:\ProgramData\GamingcenterApp\games", "READ_ME.txt")
Folders are purposely not supposed to be downloaded by the DownloadFile call. I haven't tested your code but it could generate an exception.
Argument 1 is the file you want to download from the internet, and Arguement 2 is the file name. Not the directory you want it to download to. Also, You can't set the text in the .txt file by code. And of course this will generate an exception because I tested your code.
If this does not help, Simply comment on this answer and I will try to improve it.

I think you are asking how to change the icon of an exe file.
First if you do not have the ico file get the picture you want from google and then convert it into an ico file. using: "http://convertico.com/"
I googled how to modify an exe file and actually modified the icon of an exe file from this link:

if you get access denied:

Recently I made an application that has lots of PDF files in it and I made a setup for it using Inno Setup Compiler. In the setup, I allowed people to change where they want to install the app. For opening my PDF files, I used: system.diagnostics.process.start("My pdf.pdf")
My problem is that in the code above, I put drive "C:" and when my user changed the install directory to drive "D:" the pdf's did not work and the error showed that "Cannot find the specific file". My question is that is there a way to just put the name of "computer" or "a drive" in the code above, not the specific name of the pdf, and let the computer find the file itself?
You seem to be asking for an opposite of what you actually want to achieve.
I assume you are installing files with known names. What you do not know is the directory of the files.
From your description I assume that your actual code is like:
System.Diagnostics.Process.Start("C:\My pdf.pdf")
But when the user chooses a different location (directory) for your application, the above code with a hard-coded absolute path fails.
If your application installs to the same directory as the PDFs, just use a relative path (in this case just a file name without any path). It makes an operating system look to the current working directory, which will typically be an application directory.
System.Diagnostics.Process.Start("My pdf.pdf")
Or to make it more reliable, make it explicitly look to the application directory. For that use Application.StartupPath:
System.Diagnostics.Process.Start(
System.IO.Path.Combine(System.Windows.Forms.Application.StartupPath, "My pdf.pdf"))

I have windows form in Visual Basic, I deployed the software(form) to one installer
Now I want to open My PDF file( i-e: Specific) with Button_Click_Event

But I dont know if user install my software in his PC so may be he install the software in C D or other directory, and also I dont know How to include PDF file in my project :)

Use Add->Existing Item on your Project. Then add the PDF File to your Project.
Afterwards you have to set the Properties of the newly added file to the following:
Now the file will be added to your "Output" Directory after you build your Project.
Now use your Process.Start("MyPDF.pdf") call. It will open up, as it resides in the same directory.
This is rather easy:
Simply include the file by dragging it to your project folder and in its options, tell it to copy to the build directory.
Thereafter, find the path through the my.application methods.
Build a correct path from that and launch it via process.start
just starting at play, and I needed to see it it can be used to do my project.
But after reading some docs, I still can't find a way to put uploaded files in more then one place.
I know that there is the attachments folder, and that I can change it directory in the confs, but what I want is another attachments folder, some thing like:
If the user upload a photo it would go to /photos folder;
if the user upload a txt it would go to /docs fodler;

So after some more research I found this other question:

Basically there is no more attachments path configure in this playframework version, so I need to put this manually in the control, just like the answer in that question.
