How to active responsive design mode in safari 5.1.7 version - safari

I have install windows 10 on my desktop with safari 5.1.7 version
I want to use responsive design mode on this version, is there any way to resolve it
Hope for reply, thanks in advance

You can not use this mode in safari for Windows.
Latest Safari version for Windows is 5.1.7.
Responsive design mode was added in Safari 9.0 version, see release notes.

How to enable Safari ITP Debug mode

I'd like to force Safari to mark one of my domains as tracker with new ITP 2.0.
I followed the guide here https://webkit.org/blog/8387/itp-debug-mode-in-safari-technology-preview-62/
Since the new Technology Preview version (66) doesn't have ITP Debug mode I've used normal Safari 12.0 on macOS Mojave. After enabling ITP Debug mode and restaring Safari I don't see anything in logs as the guide suggest nor does setting
defaults write com.apple.SafariTechnologyPreview ResourceLoadStatisticsManualPrevalentResource example.com
have any effect (even with Safari instead of SafariTechnologyPreview). Do I need to change any other Safari or OS settings?
I've managed to get Safari Technology Preview 63 download link (https://secure-appldnld.apple.com/STP/091-99601-20180815-01EC2FD2-85EB-11E8-AB5B-AEA972136C40/SafariTechnologyPreview.dmg) via InternetArchive, ITP Debug mode works there.
Thank you Jakob. That helped me. To clarify your link, that version is only for OSX Mojave. Build 62 for High Sierra is available here: https://secure-appldnld.apple.com/STP/091-95878-20180801-01EC2FD2-85EB-11E8-AB5B-AEA972136C40/SafariTechnologyPreview.dmg
On newer version of Safari Technology Preview, or inside Safari 13.1+, you should use these updated steps for enabling debug, because the labels have changed: https://webkit.org/blog/9521/intelligent-tracking-prevention-2-3/
It says Catalina, but they also work for Mojave.

Missing "Web Inspector" Settings in simulator

After doing a "Reset All Content And Settings.." on the simulator the setting to enable using the web inspector in safari has disappeared, and I have no idea how to get it back:
Does anyone have an idea how to get this back, and "remote" debug a webpage in the simulator again?
It seems that this option is not available in the simulated devices. Tip: If you want to connect the console from your desktop Safari, you will need the Technology Preview. the normal one does not discover the simulator (though it finds the real device normally)
In my case (macOS 10.14.3 and iOS 12.1 simulators), the setting isn't there, but is active by default. Open the simulator and you should see it in Safari under Develop.
i needed to restart desktop safari. might help.
Worked for me download new Safari:
IOS Simulator: 13.4
(Safari Technology Preview)

Safari Technology Preview

Where to download the latest Safari?

Does anyone know where on apple.com I can get the latest Safari? IE, Chrome, and Firefox all have "latest" version but I can not find a similar for Safari.
I would have guessed here, but no go.
http://support.apple.com/downloads/
You can't simply download Safari for OS X. You can get Safari updates that run on your installed OS X through the normal Apple Software Update or through the APP Store (I guess since 10.8).
Safari 6 is available for Mountain Lion and Lion only.
The latest version for PC is Safari 5.1.7. There's no version 6 available for PC. You can download it here: Safari 5.1.7 for Windows.
Safari for Windows is no longer developed. Since all links in existing answers are dead, or do not provide expected information.
I would like to provide a working link here -> SafariSetup

Get the installed Safari version using AppleScript or Objective C

How can I check the installed safari version on Mac? I need to provide temporary fix for Safari as my app didn't work on safari 5.0.6 and 5.1. So how can I detect these 2 version of safari...
i can find its version using webkit but based on this site: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Safari_version_history
Safari 5.0.6 has the similar webkit as the previos version...
You can do this even if Safari isn't running...
get version of application "Safari"
If Safari is running this AppleScript will get the version:
tell application "Safari"
set safariVersion to version
end tell
You can read the version out of /Applications/Safari.app/Contents/version.plist.

Safari browser - Mac vs Windows vs iOS

Can anyone let me know what is the difference between testing a Safari 5 in Windows vs Mac? Are there significant changes in how the page is rendered between windows vs Mac for the same version of Safari? If I test a page in Windows Safari, can I expect the page works exactly same in Mac Safari as long as Safari version matches?
Thanks
Not significant but there are subtle differences, it's difficult to list them as I think it will depend on the html/css and version.
I have noticed small differences on one of my sites in the past, but as I can't remember the details I've found another example that someone has documented.
Anyway, I've satisfied myself that the differences I've seen are too subtle to fully test every release on each machine (the budget is small!), only on major changes.
One small difference for instance is that the iOS version won't allow you autoplay of any media (audio or video) in its html5 player whilst the Windows and Mac versions do.
i notice few thing in windows safari and mac safari, when we choose an image in windows safari then its not display as preview but in mac safari its display as preview before upload.so File reader api is not supporting blog type.
