Google Developer Console - Cannot Enable APIs - api

I'd like to preface this by saying: I'm asking this question here because I've found that the customer support for Google to be a convoluted and cascading nightmare of links that get ever more vague.
Problem:
I am trying to enable Google's Contacts API. When I click on the API Manager, as the documentation describes as the place to enable APIs, I get a message that says, 'Failed to load.'
Nothing else.
Is anyone else experiencing this problem?, or have any ideas on what to do?
Thanks!

Getting access to the Google Pay API for Passes

I am currently trying to get access to the Google Pay API for passes. I am following the official guide provided by Google: https://developers.google.com/pay/passes/guides/basic-setup/get-access-to-rest-api
Unfortunately I can't even follow the first step, as the sign up form for Google Merchant seems to be offline. The URL where I expect the form just forwards me to an FAQ page.
Has anyone had similar issues lately.
Any kind of help or information is appreciated! Thanks.

Hard to say if we're seeing the same thing. This is what I see when visiting https://support.google.com/pay/merchants/gethelp?visit_id=1-636549173956235486-3194546471&rd=4
Is this what you see?
You need to go straight to step 2. Access the API Console.

Does Google Data Studio have API functionality, and if not, will it in the near future?

I'm trying to automate a workflow using Google Data Studio. Requirements are simple - I need to be able to programatically copy a templated report (from a Python/Java application) and import/set a data source (Google Sheets doc) for that report. Nothing more fancy (no visualisation creation, formatting, or anything graphical, etc.).
Sources here, here and here (last two require Google Cloud Console account) suggest an API does exist (and detail a setup process to access it). However, after going through this setup process, I can find no details or documentation of any functionality, and consequently have been unable to progress.
Can anyone authoritatively state whether:
1. There does exist any API functionality for GDS? and
2. If not, are there plans to develop such? (since the Google links above suggest there is, I'm wondering if this means it's in the pipeline for near future).
The only directly related SO posts I can find are here and here. The first suggests there isn't, but doesn't account for the Google links I've provided above which suggest there is; the second doesn't really cover the same use case, so doesn't provide answers applicable here.
FYI - I've posted a Google Community forum post here asking essentially the same question.
If anyone is able to help out, that would be greatly appreciated :) Many thanks in advance for your time and help! :)

There does exist any API functionality for GDS?
Not in the way you are expecting. The three links you posted all refer to the current Data Studio API. The only things you can do with that API is view your Data Studio assets and update permissions. That's it. This API won't let you create/copy/modify reports or data sources.
If not, are there plans to develop such?
Not in the near future. You can make/vote for this feature request in the official tracker. More popular feature requests are usually prioritized in roadmaps.
That being said, a lot of the API use cases can be resolved using combinations of Community Connectors, config parameters, direct linking, viewer's credentials, Linking/Integration API etc.

How to acquire API key for Airbnb

I know that Airbnb haven't opened their API to the public yet, but searching the internet I found some people are using it.
I tried to contact them, and also Airbnb, but without any answers.
Does anyone here knows any contact email, page, or phone number that I can refer to?
I have read here that you can find your API key by looking at the requests that AirBNB uses in their own website. So use the web-developer tools in chrome, or firefox, or firebug in firefox and search trough the requests in the network panel until you find the key being used in any JSON request. Some urls contain this key param, you copy that :) works for me!
Oh BTW, i'd like to remind you that the API is currently not officially released to fetch data in the background while you are logged in. When you use this key, they'll know your identity. You might get blocked or at least warned by AirBNB for using their API while you are maybe not allowed to. Read their terms & conditions to make sure. I am not taking any responsibility, of course ;)
You can now find your API key on the meta tags of the source code when logged in to your dashboard. Search for canonical_host and you will find:
{"canonical_host":"www.airbnb.com","api_config":{"key":"<your-api-key>"}
Just to update this set of answers, the api is on the following address but you need to request access first.
https://www.airbnb.com/partner
It offers an FAQ that informs you about the process and it will always be updated
As far as I can tell, they have shut down this service as of today.
"Unfortunately, this is no longer available" will be what the API returns.
EDIT:
It started working again after a few days. Very odd, maybe an internal problem, or we were rate limited or something.
Log into Airbnb.com, open up the web developer console, go to the network tab, filter by type json, and look at the url and find "client_id".

How to fix Feature not enabled problems

I currently have an issue that whenever I connect my MapBox map to the Directions API, an error is returned which says '{"message":"Feature not enabled"}'.
I have looked around and have not found anywhere where I can enable this feature, and would like to know if there is a way that you can do it.
Thanks in Advance,
Chris

New Messaging System API for non developer accounts

According to this blog post the new messaging system should be accessible via the API (fql/graph) for non developer account as of end of November. It still gives OAuthException with message "You must be a developer of the application".
I was unable to find any updates on this issue from Facebook or other sources. Anyone knows what is going on with this and when will it be accessible?
There was a bug opened on the subject, anyone who has interest in this might consider promoting it.
Going to answer my own question, according to the response on the bug seems like the official answer is:
"We said it would be published but it wasn't, so just wait until we say it will be published again".
Are you trying to read messages or send them? It's still not possible to send them but reading them should work for any app now
