I'm trying to setup access to a project in GitLab for a client. However, I only want them to be able to access the issues section i.e. to be able to see tickets and create new ones. This I believe is achievable by adding them as a Guest to the project. However, when I login with the user's account, they can still see all the push events on the dashboard. Is there any way to hide the commit messages or this entire widget?

I would like to setup a paypal payment method exactly the same as Airbnb. The payment will be recurring on a monthly basis.
If one user is directly paying another user for a fixed amount that recurs automatically every month between just their accounts (very different from AirBnB's setup), that can be done with a Subscribe button. The easiest integration will be to create a classic HTML-only Subscribe button via https://www.paypal.com/buttons , uncheck the option in Step 2 to save the button at PayPal, and once the code is generated click the link to remove code protection. This will give you a button with variables you can adjust, per HTML Variable for Payments Standard, including the business destination in particular.
Newer PayPal Subscriptions can be used instead, but are more complex to set up, as each user will need to have the appropriate recurring Plan created for them via an API call, and you will need their Client ID and Secret to do that from your server.
Since you are using React Native, it is important to note that all PayPal flows require a web interface that includes an address bar, such as Safari View Controller or Chrome Custom Tab. A WKWebView or similar cannot be used.
For my learning project, I want to create an app with:
1.settings menu when I can store 3 values. Email, password, and car number.
1 button ( when I open the app and push that button app connects to a web page, logins with email and password after login it should go to search menu on a website enter their car number and then pushes button "pay" when the car is found.
Basically, this app is for paying for parking with 1 click.
The thing is I have the knowledge to build this simple UI and probably I need some sort of database like SQLite to store the settings but how can I do second part? When I push the button that the app connects to www.parking.com(this is not a real webpage), logins and do other staff...
Can someone give me some pointers, examples of similar apps or links where I can find any related information?
Do I need to create some kind of API to connect to the webpage?
Use expo.io to create the app and to perform authentication. Use fetch or axios to access the web page. Use expo api for firebase to store data.

I am a software developer in Xamarin - Android, I want to create notification messages. For this purpose I use Azure notification hub, combined with Google's service - Google Cloud Messaging (GCM).
My problem comes when I want to send notification to a particular user. I realized that I need to use the "TAGS" When I compose a new user to the system (Uniqe TAG)
Indeed, it works great, but when the user logged off his account, and then connect to another one (with another TAGS) - the TAGS of his old account are kept in a certain time, and he continues to receive personal messages from the previous account!!!!
Does anyone know what can be done about it?

This is actually an issue a lot of people/apps have on iOS and Android.
What you should do is:
Register your app at your Azure Notification Hub (ANH) on first start and reregister at every app start, to keep registration in sync
If a user logs in, update the registration with an additional tag for this user (e.g. "user:XY")
Sending notifications to that user tag will of course result in notifications on all devices the user is logged in on
If a user logs out, update the registration without the user tag (omit the user tag, so the registration doesn't have user tag anymore afterwards)
The registration will be updated immediately on ANH and sending notifications to the user (tag) will not result in notifications on that specific client
If the user can logout on your app without internet connection, you won't be able to update the registration of course and you will still have the problem of getting notifications for a logged out user. But as soon as another user logs in, the registration should get updated with the new user tag and everything should be fine again...
What you shouldn't do:
"Developers should never unregister the client app as a mechanism for logout or for switching between users..."
I am developing a web app for a group, and I want to be able to let anyone in the group create an event and add it to the group's calendar through the app. I was able to get the basic functionality working using Google Calendar API v3 for Javascript -- you could fill out a form with the event's start/end times, title, information, etc, and it could insert that event into the calendar.
But the problem is with authentication. If a user is logged in to a Google account that is not given permission to create events on the calendar, they are unable to add the event (Javascript writes "Forbidden" to the console). If I log out of all Google accounts and then sign in with the account that owns the calendar, the event is created with no problems (that makes sense).
Adding every single person in the group to the edit-permissions on the calendar seems like too much of a "brute force" method.
Is there a way to always authenticate the Google account that owns the calendar? Or, better yet, is there a way just to force authentication in general, even if someone is already logged in to Google / authorized to the app? Some people in the group know the calendar login/password, so if I could always bring up a Google login screen, they could just enter the calendar account information and then add the event from there. Again, I'm using Javascript (not much documentation on this...).

Have a look at Service Accounts. That way the calendar is owned by the application, and so the application will always have permission to update it.
If you want to avoid authentication problem from other opened session in user browser, you have to authenticate on the calendar, using server side library.

You can post user actions/achivements from iOS by taking publish_actions extended permission, but you need backend server support. You need a public url with open graph tags for each object/achievement.
Publish actions
Allows your app to publish to the Open Graph using Built-in Actions,
Achievements, Scores, or Custom Actions. Your app can also publish
other activity which is detailed in the Publishing Permissions doc.
Note: The user-prompt for this permission will be displayed in the
first screen of the Enhanced Auth Dialog and cannot be revoked as part
of the authentication flow. However, a user can later revoke this
permission in their Account Settings. If you want to be notified if
this happens, you should subscribe to the permissions object within
the Realtime API.

The Graph API for achievements allows game developers to publish user
achievements in their game to provide more meaningful and relevant
stories.
Note: This API is only available to applications categorized as
'Games'. You can categorize your app as 'Games' in the Developer app
by navigating to About > Basic Info and selecting 'Games` in the drop
down menu in the category field.
