I started to work with a computer which on its eclipse crashlytics is setup by someone else's email.
How can I change it. I uninstalled and installed crashlytics plugin but it is still on the other account.
I need to change the ID and continue working with my own ID.
Hemal from Crashlytics here, love to help out with this! When the plugin is in focus, just hit Ctrl+L to logout :)

I'm getting this error when opening VS Code. Does anyone know what it means? I've done some research but didn't get any relevant information :(
I've tried creating a workflow to see if the error disappeared, but it didn't.
It seems that react native is asking for a workspace to start but is it asking that in the first place? Can I disable react native from running when opening VS Code?
The folder opened when the screenshot above was taken was the folder it opens by default, I believe it's the mac "home" personal folder, and I have a folder called "git" inside of it, with all projects.
Given the date of this posting (2023-02-07), you're probably on version 1.10.0 of the extension. This sounds like this bug report in the microsoft/vscode-react-native GitHub repo: [Bug] Extension activating when it shouldn't #1891.
A fix is coming in version 1.10.1.
But it is taking some time and has not been release yet at the time of this writing 2023-01-31:
we're facing some problems in the last release process, recently we're waiting for new publishing PAT access to republish 1.10.1 again, maybe it will publish on marketplace on next week. We have nightly version for extension in marketplace as well, maybe you can use it now.
For now, you can try installing the nightly version.
Also, note from the extension's readme documentation:
Before going any further make sure that you:
have a working React Native environment.
have the emulator utility available in your PATH if you're developing Android applications.
[...]
Got it, this annoying log came from React Native Tools extension. They specify the requirements in the docs:
In my case, I don't have a specific React Native environment or the emulator PATH is not right.
I have been trying to build my apk today but I always face this problem. After completing the build, i download it to my phone and i cannot open it. However, this was not the case 2-3 days ago. I had no difficulties or errors in Run expo doctor. I was able to download the apk to my device and test my app.
I am not really sure what to do and any help would be appreciated.
This is what I got after running npx expo doctor:
I managed to solve my problem. I used Android Studio's logcat feature and when I ran the app on the emulator I found the issue - it was related to admob. At this point, I dont need admob, so I deleted its folder from my project and everything was fine after this.
Running expo doctor usually ends up in flagging what dependency needs to be upgraded if the jump to automatically update it goes into the majors like in your case from 4 to 5.
Maybe try upgrading #expo/config-plugins by using expo upgrade or commands from your preferred package manager.
If that’s impossible due to other packages depending on the specific version, maybe consider adding overrides in your package.json. Here is a helpful article about that.
In my experience this may not be the only reason for the crash of the app. Try running the app consecutively about 3 or 4 times even if it crashes and I believe Android will prompt you to submit a bug report and maybe show you the call stack it failed at.
Let us know how it goes.
i recently upgraded from RN 0.61.5 to 0.62.2.
However, chrome debugger won't work from some point on. This means that the debugger and simulator are well connected, but I don't see any of the basic logs that I use console.log, or that first pops up logs.
So, i try some solutions.
first, I reset the project. and run react-native init <my-project>. and copy & paste past source code(Except for system files or node_modules) that src, .gitignore etc
but, this situations keep goes on now.
second, git revert when it worked well before upgrade.
but this is same bad result like above. everything is good. project's Run or Build ···.
ONLY NOT WORKING debugger..
what should i do ?
Thank you in advance for your help.

One of the Babel packages I'm using, the Babel-plugin-transform-remove-console, had eliminated all the logs even in development mode.
If you remove this from the project, it works normally.
I'm working on an app that was developed by someone else and referred to me for debugging. I downloaded the project from git and now when I install it on my android device using the react-native run-android command and change the codes and save it, nothing happens in the app and I have to reinstall using "react-native run-android" to see the changes. what should I do to see the changes online?
The solution was quite simple. The only thing I had to do was to shake the device and click on "enable hot reloading" in the opened menu.
Try to clean the Gradle and run again. and also check are you able to get developer menu by clicking ctrl/command + m.
For some reason we needed to change the package-id of our existing android application. We already use Fabric for Crashlytics.
I'm trying to bring that new app up in the Fabric dashboard, but it's not showing there, despite the device log showing no issues (as fas as I can see): device log
Any ideas why the new package-id isn't visible in our dashboard?
Best,
Sven
I experienced a very similar issue to this when building an app with multiple flavours. The solution is to manually specify the package name, and not let Fabric try to automatically grab it, as it tries very hard to "stick" your old package name.
There is a full post available (disclaimer: my site), but essentially you need to use:
Fabric.with(
Fabric.Builder(this)
.kits(Crashlytics())
.appIdentifier(BuildConfig.APPLICATION_ID)
.build()
)
Make sure to include all dependencies on their dedicated gradle.build and meta in manifest file. Next is to throw a force runtime error on your device with internet connection also do not forget to initialize it first with Fabric.with(this, new Crashlytics()). If this doesn't work try to download and install Fabric for Android plugin in Android Studio, restart the IDE and you will see a fabric icon above. Start it and select your package name.
I had the exact same problem, in the log I clearly see that the Crashlytics is in use.
I/CrashlyticsCore: Crashlytics report upload complete: <ID>
But I cannot see my project on the dashboard, and always redirect to the tutorial.
After a Build-Clean and an Android studio restart, build and run the app again to my phone, and voilá, it finds itself. Now working, without any change.
I have the same problem. After hours of researches I resolve this for my application.
First: After adding new flavour, I make changes in Firebase console (added new app in existing project, with production SHA1, changed google-services.json).
After that app does not show in fabric dashboard and fabric plugin in Android Studio. Problem was resolved after linking new app in crashlitycs in firebase console. And after that check your roles, must have Owner role (on Firebase Console Project).
