I am developing and android app, where i want to get all files from drop box. Now i can retrieve all files from drop box and display it in List View. Now i want to open/display the file when i click on the List View. I don't know how to open Dropbox file, with which manager or which method??? please help
I was using this method to open/display Google Drive file, but i don't know how to use the same method here for Dropbox.

The only way to upload files that App Maker provides out of the box is Drive Picker widget and by default it uploads files to current user's Drive root folder. Drive Picker's API allows to change default upload folder, however App Maker doesn't expose the setting at this time. But it has onPickerInit event that provides you with pickerBuilder that you can use to customize your the picker:

pickerBuilder.addView(uploadView);
This trick works both for personal and Team Drive folders.

It seems that setParent works only in combination with MULTISELECT_ENABLED drive picker feature enabled.
Right now, looks appmaker seems to ALWAYS adds an upload tab itself, so if I add another uploadview, I end up with two upload tabs, the first one uploading to the main folder and selected by default :(
My best guess for a workaround is to not add my own upload view, let the picker upload the file to the main folder, and move the file in the onSelect hook to its final destination. If there's a better way, I'd love the hear.
The idea is that i will create a file in the app and store some data in it.
I want for the end user to be able to download that file from the iOS device to his mac/pc.
Is this somehow possible? Where should i put the file for the user to be able to download it via itunes?

It is important to know, that in iOS, when your user needs to create file, you do not need to care where to save it.
Another possibility for you might be to avoid saving data as file. For example, if your data is picture:

Since it's possible to download Game Center metadata through Transporter into a .itmsp package file, how would you edit and upload that file using Application Loader? I see no interface for Game Center metadata in Application Loader. Application Loader is default app to open .itmsp packages. Did I miss something?
At worst best I guess it could be possible to edit the contained .xml file, add a few achievements, and then try to upload that into iTunes Connect using Application Loader.
If you make a lookup on an existing app inside your Itunes account, you download a file called like like the vendor_id with the .itmsp format. My experience was, opening this file by double clicking inside the Application Loaderjust changes the data inside this archive.
In my case, an additional file was created called something like meta-local... and the metadata.xml from Itunes Connect has been changed. It's like the Application Loader deletes information like description, keywords, url`s, screenshots and all the data you have to define the first time you create the app before uploading the binary.
Instead of using the Application Loader you should open the .itmsp file by right clicking and selecting show package content. This way nothing will be changed and you can open the metadata and change specific data.
I don't have Game Center elements included in my app yet but I did some researches on tools which could automate the process of generating and changing data. Have a look at these projects, the first one looks like it could be exactly what you're looking for:

If not maybe you could create an Apple Script to parse the metadata.xml and add or change your data.

So, this is the task I want to achieve. In my app, I have a text field which displays a list of all the apps and files that are present in my iOS device. One of them will be dropbox. When I tap on drop box, it should open the dropbox app and ask for user credentials. Once the user enters his credentials, it should save them and it shouldn't ask the next time he logs in again. Now, in that textbox that I mentioned earlier, I should get the list of the files that are there in my dropbox folder.
I'm new to iOS app development stuff so any help in the form of links, documentation will help alot. Please give me a brief idea on how to achieve this task.

What you are proposing violates the sandboxing principle of iOS. Apps don't know about anything outside their own documents folder, and do not have permission to read or write outside the area.
Files stored in Dropbox are accessible via the Dropbox API, so you will be able to achieve that part of your design, but most of the other apps on the device will not be visible or accessible to you.
I am currently developing an app that has to be able to share documents between two apps. A PDF file will be openend in my app and has to be sent to another app, Pages for example, to make changes to it. From there I can send the file back to my own app if the second app supports it. Now I have been able to register the file types for my own app, and it is showing up and opening files from the second app.
The problem I'm having is adding an 'Open with' option to my own app. Apple's documentation only seems to cover assigning file types to your own app, but not how to share files with other apps. Can any of you point me in the right direction?
