I am using ancart template for opencart. These errors are shown
Notice: Undefined variable: small_html in /home/rythm321/public_html/catalog/view/theme/ancart/template/common/header.tpl on line 113
Notice: Undefined variable: org_html in /home/rythm321/public_html/catalog/view/theme/ancart/template/common/header.tpl on line 137
Here is the header file https://www.dropbox.com/s/7heyayzwoewjmqt/header.tpl
Change:
if ($categories) {
$org_html = "";
$small_html = "";
To:
$org_html = "";
$small_html = "";
if ($categories) {
As the variables are defined within the if condition, they'll not get defined if the if condition returns false.
Have a nice day !!
you should select "Show in the top menu" from the category edit menu each other.

Hello I am having the above error in production but all works well in development. I am using the code bellow to get the path to the main image for the property but it defaults into the else despite the if not being false plus the else does not find the paths even when dump shows that the object has been returned
//check if there are hotels in the selected destination
if($hotels->isNotEmpty()){
//Loop through the hotels
foreach($hotels as $hotel){
//get hotels main image
$banner = Photo::where(['p_id'=>$hotel->id])->where(['is_main'=>1])->first();
$altbanner = Photo::where(['p_id'=>$hotel->id])->first();
$banner_path = "";
$altText = "";
if($banner!=null){
$banner_path = $banner->path;
$altText = $banner->alt_text;
}else{
$banner_path = $altbanner->path;
$altText = $altbanner->alt_text;
}
Have you checked your database if each hotel has an image? Based on your question and explanation, there is a part of the for each that returns null for the image hence the if part fails and the else return the error. If that is the case then you may want to check and sort it by uploading the image or modifying your checks to handle cases where no image is found.
I think the way you are using the where clause isn't right
foreach($hotels as $hotel){
//get hotels main image
$banner = Photo::where('p_id',$hotel->id)->where('is_main',1)->first();
$altbanner = Photo::where('p_id',$hotel->id)->first();
// .....
if($banner){
$banner_path = $banner->path;
// ......
I am new to Sitefinity. But I followed steps from tutorial and created the one project named as "SFcmsDemo" and when I run this project and Sitefinity dashboard appears on localhost it is showing name as "Default" instead of "SFcmsDemo", The tutorial I read is showing the correct name in that but when I tried it is showing as "Default". Can anyone please help me find out the root cause and solution for this. I am attaching some screenshot which will help to understand more. Thanks.
Default can be easily changed if you click on it and then Manage Site.
UPDATE
From the decompiled Telerik.Sitefinity.dll (v.12.2):
internal static Site GetOrCreateDefaultSite()
{
Site site;
string str = "CreateDefaultSite";
MultisiteManager manager = MultisiteManager.GetManager(null, str);
using (ElevatedModeRegion elevatedModeRegion = new ElevatedModeRegion(manager))
{
ProjectConfig projectConfig = Config.Get<ProjectConfig>();
Guid siteMapRootNodeId = projectConfig.DefaultSite.SiteMapRootNodeId;
Site site = (
from s in manager.GetSites()
where s.SiteMapRootNodeId == siteMapRootNodeId
select s).FirstOrDefault<Site>();
if (site == null)
{
site = (projectConfig.DefaultSite.Id == Guid.Empty ? manager.CreateSite() : manager.CreateSite(projectConfig.DefaultSite.Id));
site.IsDefault = true;
site.IsOffline = false;
site.site = projectConfig.DefaultSite.site;
site.SiteMapRootNodeId = siteMapRootNodeId;
site.Name = (projectConfig.ProjectName != "/" ? projectConfig.ProjectName : "Default");
....
Note in the last line how it looks in the projectConfig.ProjectName value and if it is equal to "/" then it sets it to "Default"
Now, if we look at the ProjectConfig there is this:
[Browsable(false)]
[ConfigurationProperty("projectName", DefaultValue="/")]
[ObjectInfo(typeof(ConfigDescriptions), Title="ProjectNameTitle", Description="ProjectNameDescription")]
public string ProjectName
{
get
{
return (string)this["projectName"];
}
internal set
{
this["projectName"] = value;
}
}
So, default value is indeed "/", so that's why when the site is created it has a name of Default.
i have following code for getting error
$('#Template').click(function () {
var selectedTempleteType = $('#BulkLoadActionDropDownId option:selected').val();
var path = '#Url.Content("~/Upload/DownloadBulkLoadActionTemplate?templateType=" + selectedTempleteType)';
$(this).attr("href", path);
});
error showing for "selectedTempleteType".
selectedTempleteType is a client-side JS variable, you cannot use it inside #Url.Content() which runs server-side (and #Url.Content() is incorrect to map URL path with query string, use #Url.Action() instead). You should change from this:
var path = '#Url.Content("~/Upload/DownloadBulkLoadActionTemplate?templateType=" + selectedTempleteType)';
to this one:
var path = '#Url.Action("DownloadBulkLoadActionTemplate", "Upload")?templateType=' + selectedTempleteType;
Or using placeholder inside #Url.Action() with replace() in client-side:
var path = '#Url.Action("DownloadBulkLoadActionTemplate", "Upload", new { templateType = "xxxx" })';
path = path.replace("xxxx", selectedTempleteType);
I'm having this PHP-script:
<?php
$old_path = getcwd();
chdir('/var/www/html/SEARCHTOOLS/');
$term1 = $_POST['query1'];
$term2 = $_POST['query2'];
$var = "{$term1} {$term2}";
$outcome = shell_exec("searcher $var");
chdir($old_path);
echo "<pre>$outcome</pre>";
?>
On a searchpage two searchwords are written and the searchbutton is pushed. The search result turns up as a webpage like this:
/var/www/html/SEARCHTOOLS/1974-1991.pdf:1
/var/www/html/SEARCHTOOLS/1974-1991.pdf:3
/var/www/html/SEARCHTOOLS/1974-1991.pdf:7
/var/www/html/SEARCHTOOLS/1974-1991.pdf:7
/var/www/html/SEARCHTOOLS/1974-1991.pdf:9
/var/www/html/SEARCHTOOLS/1974-1991.pdf:13
/var/www/html/SEARCHTOOLS/1974-1991.pdf:13
The result shows links to individual PDF-files and pagenumber in that file, but are not clickable.
Is there a way to make these links clickable so that it opens up for instance in Evince or Acrobat at the correct page number?
Many thanks in advance.
/Paul
I found a correct answer to my problem. It took some time, but here it is:
<?php
// Get current working directory and put it as variable
$old_path = getcwd();
// Change directory
chdir('/var/www/html/SEARCHTOOLS/');
// Create first variable as result of first searchword on searchpage
$term1 = $_POST['query1'];
// Create second variable as result of second searchword on searchpage
$term2 = $_POST['query2'];
// Create a variable combining first AND second variable
$var = "{$term1} {$term2}";
// Create a variable as the result of the executed search using command "sokare" and variable "$var"
$outcome = shell_exec("sokare $var");
// Return to starting directory
chdir($old_path);
// Split the varible "$outcome" per line representing every page in PDF-file where variable "$var" is found
foreach(preg_split("/((\r?\n)|(\r\n?))/", $outcome) as $line){
// Create a variable out of the given pagenumber in PDF-file
$end = substr($line, strpos($line, ":") + 1);
// Trim the line by removing leading directories from line
$line2 = str_replace('/var/www/html', '', $line);
// Change a string from lower to upper case
$line2 = str_replace('searchtools', 'SEARCHTOOLS', $line2);
// Remove the colon and anything behind it from line
$line2 = array_shift(explode(':', $line2));
// Add suffix to line to facilitate linking to pagenumber in PDF-file
$line3 = str_replace(" ", "_", $line2).'#page=';
// Add pagenumber from the variable "$end"
$line3 = str_replace(" ", "_", $line3).$end;
// Print each line as a correct URL-link
echo "<pre><a href=$line3>$line3</a></pre>";
}
?>
The search results will now turn up as (and are clickable):
/SEARCHTOOLS/1974-1991.pdf#page=1
/SEARCHTOOLS/1974-1991.pdf#page=3
/SEARCHTOOLS/1974-1991.pdf#page=7
Just a small edit. The line ....
// Add suffix to line to facilitate linking to pagenumber in PDF-file
$line3 = str_replace(" ", "_", $line2).'#page=';
...works better with:
// Add suffix to line to facilitate linking to pagenumber in PDF-file
if (substr($line2, -3) == 'pdf') {
$line3 = $line2.'#page=';
}
This used to work but after some modifications by the other programmers it just fails to work. I have this code on my Bootstrap:
protected function _initDatabase ()
{
$resource = $this->getPluginResource('multidb');
$resource->init();
Zend_Registry::set('gtap', $resource->getDb('gtap'));
Zend_Registry::set('phpbb', $resource->getDb('phpbb'));
}
Upon loading, this error shows up:
Fatal error: Call to a member function init() on a non-object in
/var/www/gamebowl3/application/Bootstrap.php on line 105
My php.ini has this entry on tis include_path:
.:/usr/share/php:/etc/apache2/libraries
and the i can see that multidb.php is located in:
/etc/apache2/librarties/Zend/Application/Resource
Can somebody tell me what causes the error? Thanks!
I just found out that the problem is in application.ini. Added a newly-introduced setting to the usual set of configs. Here it is:
;Gtap Database
resources.multidb.gtap.adapter = "PDO_MYSQL"
resources.multidb.gtap.host = "localhost"
resources.multidb.gtap.username = "root"
resources.multidb.gtap.password = "letmein1"
resources.multidb.gtap.dbname = "gtap"
resources.multidb.gtap.isDefaultTableAdapter = true
resources.multidb.gtap.default = true
;Forum Database
resources.multidb.phpbb.adapter = "PDO_MYSQL"
resources.multidb.phpbb.host = "localhost"
resources.multidb.phpbb.username = "root"
resources.multidb.phpbb.password = "letmein1"
resources.multidb.phpbb.dbname = "phpbb"
resources.multidb.phpbb.isDefaultTableAdapter = false
Also, make sure you have the latest Zend Framework Library and add it to PHP's include path. That should fix everything up.
