I have a question on SQL join which involve multiple condition in second joined table. Below is the table details

I have above two tables and I am trying to join based on below condition to get pId's
pId's which has keyVal = 45 and status = 1 joined with table2 which has mode = 2 and modeVal 5 and mode =3 and modeVal = 6
the result I am expecting is to return pid = 100
Can you please help me with a join query ?
One way is to use GROUP BY with HAVING to count that the number of rows found is 2, of which 2 are matching the condition;

If the values in t2 are already distinct, you can just remove the cte and select directly from Table2.

Ignore other fields, I need to delete all raws in Tabel 1 where AMT in Tabel 2 has zero or no value for the SALESID.
For example, after the query, only raws containing 1AX & 4DZ should be remain in Tabel 1.
this can be done by subquery
get all MainID from table2 where amt is 0 or null
delete all rows that equal to previous fetched MainID
delete from table1 where MainID in (
select SALESID from table2 where AMT <=0 or AMT is null
)
You can use exists:
delete from table1
where exists (select 1

Thinking an INNER JOIN would be much faster on larger data sets. Something like this:

I have three tables which store a simple onet-to-many relationship.

I need to return those rows in Table3 which only have one relationship between Table1 and and some rows from Table2.
Something like this:
If I look for rows that have a relation idT2 = 4, the query should return only this row:
Table3 idT1 idT2
3 4
I figured out this query but I think there must be something easier:

One method is to use aggregation and just look for the values that appear once for a given idT2:
select idT1, max(idT2) as idT2
from t3
group by idT1
having min(idT2) = 4 and max(idT2) = 4;
You could also do this using not exists:
select t3.*
from t3
where t3.idT2 = 4 and
not exists (select 1 from t3 tt3 where tt3.idT1 = t3.idT1 and tt3.idT2 <> 4);

So here is my Problem:
I want the IDs from Table1 that have all Code and Attributes from Table2 that a given (variable) input ID has. At the end I want to create a stored procedure/function that gives me all IDs meeting that condition.
As an Example:
Input-ID: 3. Would return ID 6 because Number 7 (mapped from ID 6 in Table1) has the rows Number 1 (mapped from ID 3 in Table1) has. It has more but that doesn't matter, its just important it has all rows the input one has.
(I can't find a solution to comparing a set of rows to another set of rows that is not known before.)

To make it more understandible, here what I want in words step-by-step.
Map input ID to Number in Table1
Get All Rows from Table2 having Number from Step 1
Get all Number that have the same (can have more) Rows as from Step 2
Get IDs for that Numbers (and return them)
Try something like this. Haven't tested it, but basically you inner join on all of the attributes that need to match. The HAVING clause is a crude check to make sure that it matched all the rows. Edit: Forgot to add the input ID WHERE clause.

Kind of hard to understand what you're trying to acheive. As i understood from your example, you want to match the Number for the input ID in Table1 with any column (correct?) in Table2.
With input ID=3, the SELECT will return Number=7. In the IN (...)-condition, you can specify whichever columns in Table2 you want to match to Table1.Number.

You can use EXISTS:

So either my understanding was incorrect or your expected result. I have also all ID=2 because the second id-2 row matches the condition.
You seem to want all rows for id's that have rows with that particular combination. What about:
with ids as (
select id
from mytable
where (idTest=2 and result=1) or (idTest=3 and result=2)
group by id
having count(id) = 2

select mytable.* from mytable
inner join ids
on ids.id = mytable.id
This gets a list of id's where both conditions apply, and then gets all rows for those id's.

do you need a method that treats the condition(s) in a generic way, like if they're values in another table? Or do you only need a way to pull results of two independent conditions?

I am trying to understand how to create a query to filter out some results based on an inner join.

I would like to select all formulation_batch records with a project_id of 1, and has a formulation_batch_component with a component_id of 1 or 2. So I run the following query:

However, this returns a duplicate entry:

In this case it is possible to apply the distinct before the join possibly making it more performant:
select fb.*
from
formulation_batch fb
inner join
(
select distinct formulationbatch_id
from formulation_batch_component
where component_id in (1, 2)
) fbc on fb.id = fbc.formulationbatch_id
where fb.project_id = 1
Notice how to use alias for the table names to make the query clearer. Also then in operator is very handy. The use of double quotes with those identifiers is not necessary.
