x-editable popup not working - ruby-on-rails-3

I'm trying to get x-editable/bootstrap working in Rails 3 but I can only get inline editing to work - I can't get a popup
I've added the following to my gemfile (I'm already using Twitter Bootstrap)
gem 'bootstrap-x-editable-rails'
I've set up a very simple test as follows:
in the html
test
In script
$.fn.editable.defaults.mode = 'popup';
$('#editgoal').editable();
On my page, when I click on the 'edit' link, I get an inline edit box
It looks to have Bootstrap styling ok - so everything looks right except I cant get a popup
What am I missing?

Odoo : "t-call" issue with website editor

I am trying to include a t-call inside the homepage template in Odoo (between two sections). It works fine but when I open the editor the drageable areas around the other sections are not displaying. Is there a way to ignore the t-call part when the editor loads or is there a way around this?
I have tried using dynamic templates but I would like to avoid the loading time when the page loads and render the page on the server.
I have also tried adding various classes or attributes on the tags surrounding the call but nothing seems to work.
Thanks,

Pinterest share button with Gridsome (vuejs)

i'm trying to add Pinterest share button on my page template. I've followed the guidelines of Pinterest by adding the script before the tag, and the right link in my page.
Both in development or production mode, the button is correctly updated by the script. But when i change page, and load another post, the button remains as "default", not updated.
working version (at first page load) :
Non working version when I change page :
Pinterest script is (i think) loaded the way they ask on their website (before tag) :
and this is how i load it in metaInfo() :
i've tried everything, dynamically create script tag in mount cycle, with or without the button
i'm always facing this one shot working button, and i can't figure out why
the only strange thing i can see, is that i have this script in : https://assets.pinterest.com/js/pinit_main.js?0.8287268902280864
script that i do not call in my template
but it's also present when the button is working
any help will be appreciated ;)

Selenium WebDriver ElementNotVisibleError with IE 10 on Browserstack

I have rspec tests using Capybara which work great locally and on browserstack with a configuration of OS X Mavericks/Chrome 33 on browserstack.
When I change the configuration to Windows 7 / IE 10 I'm getting an ElementNotVisibleError on the last line of code represented here:
find('#myIdToExpandMyList').click
#click selected one
find(:xpath, "//SomeXPATHToRepresentAValueInMyList", :visible => :all).click
What is happening (I can see due to screenshots) is that the first line of code is not working. For some reason the click on this element is not working.
Here is an image of the expand (+)
When the user clicks on the plus sign the items in the list appear. Since the click isn't working the items never appear and the last line of code above doesn't work. Why doesn't this find/click work in IE 10 (with Selenium Webdriver)?
Here is the html code behind the expand:
<a id="myIdToExpandMyList" href="javascript:SomeJavscriptCallToExpandWithValues(params)">
<img src="plussign.png" alt="Expand">
</a>
UPDATE: In looking at this further this appears to be related to modal dialogs. In my case I have a modal dialog opening (z-index is set and the rest of the page is not reachable). For some reason (only in IE) I can't click on a link on the modal dialog using a capybara find(element).click. It seems to find the element otherwise I believe I would get an error on that.
Second UPDATE: After trying all sorts of things (falling back to selenium, different IE versions, native clicks, nothing worked. The only thing that worked was executing the javascript via execute_script. The plus sign (href) triggers a javascript function which opens the list - I called it directly. I do not like this solution so hopefully someone has a better one.
I am replying on behalf of BrowserStack.
I understand for your tests on IE 10, the logs show that the expand(+) button was clicked successfully. However, the click did not initiate the action (expand menu) it was supposed to. Thus, the subsequent actions failed.
As you have mentioned, you are able to run tests locally on your machine. Could you drop us an email with following details:
IEDriver version you use locally
Exact version of the IE browser you test on
Selenium Jar version

Clicking a link using rspec and capybara doesn't load the page

In Rails 3.2 I'm using rspec (2.11.0) and capybara 1.1.2 (and have not installed webrat) and it's doing something strange when I click a link on my web page.
I'm trying to click on link on my home page to go to another page. Below is the basic rspec test.
it "should go to agents page" do
visit 'home'
#puts page.body
#links = page.all('a')
#links.each do |l|
# puts l.text
#end
page.find_by_id('menu_agents').click
puts page.body
#<various content asserts on page currently commented out>
end
I basically go to a page, grab a link and click
The link exists. As you can see from the commented out statements I've confirmed by looking at the page in the console and also looking at the list of links. I've tried clicking not only with the link above, but also using click_link and referencing the id. Looking at both the code and the html of the page when I run the code I see the id of the element.
In all cases I get the following result:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40/loose.dtd">
When running the software with rails s clicking the link does load the correct page. Likewise when I visit the home page in the test it loads correctly as well, since when I print the body to the console I see the right html.
It seems like something is going wrong with the page load when I click the link and the page load has some type of failure (although the test itself does not fail). Any ideas?
Please try this:
Page load will take some time. Use sleep function. It makes some time to wait.
Then use page.find("#menu_agents").click instead of page.find_by_id('menu_agents').click
Verify menu_agents id name is not present any other places in result page.
Note: make sure menu_agents id is unique.
it "should go to agents page" do
visit 'home'
sleep 5
page.find("#menu_agents").click
puts page.body
#<various content asserts on page currently commented out
end

asp:Fileupload does not work in ajaxToolkit:AccordionPane

I am using asp:FileUpload in ajaxToolkit:AccordionPane but it always shows HasFile=false.
I am not using any update panel. The structure of the page is as below.
MAster page-->Master page-->.aspx page-->User control-->User control-->AccordionPane-->File upload control.
I have also set Page.Form.Attributes.Add("enctype", "multipart/form-data"). still it shows HAsFile=false.
How can I upload image file?
Till now there is one solution in my view... having another small page with only fileupload controll and call it as popup on button click - and place the button inside accordion pane.
its just a way-around... still looking for proper solution....
