My restoring action stops when it gets to "fixing mail permission" part of restoring Cpanle backup. Any Help?
Try to Repair mailbox permissions as below, I hope it will help you if you are going to restore backup for already existing account.
WHM > Email > Repair mailbox permissions
For a single cpanel account your can fix it by root SSH as
/scripts/mailperm username
username = cpanel User name

One of my backups has failed because seemingly the pass phase is corrupted.
I am attempting to re-register the server (I do not know if this will fix the problem but I do know that in this process the pass phrase is entered) and so need to re-download the Vault Credentials.
In the old Azure portal the download of the Vault Credentials link was right there as soon as you went to the particular vault.
In the new Azure portal I cannot find it anywhere. I have looked and looked and Googled and Googled.
I get the feeling that one has to start the whole backup setup again for the server in order to get the credentials via Getting Started > Backup.
So I am in vault that the server backs up to and I go to Getting Started > Backup and follow the steps and then I end up with a list of servers that I need to choose from but my server is not there because it says "VMs in same region as vault and not protected by another vault are shown....".
Anyway I am stuck.
Path to download the vault credential file: Home>Recovery Services vaults>Select your recovery services vault>Properties>Backup credentials
See the screenshot:
OK I fixed my problem but I did not resolve the "How to re-download Vault Credentials".
In the Azure Backup app on the server I went to Actions > Change Properties and re-entered the pass phrase and tried to save it.
I got a message that nothing was saved because the pass phrase had not changed.
So how the heck did it know that if my initial problem was that the pass phrase was corrupted???
I chanced my luck and tried a "Backup Now" and lo and behold it worked.
GO FIGURE AND THANK YOU TEAM AT MS FOR YET ANOTHER CONUNDRUM I HAD TO SOLVE WITH SMOKE AND MIRRORS.
Don't get me started...
I forgot SQL Server sa password and i don't have access to administrator account. Is there a way to rename sa accounts password so that i can have admin rights?
Installed a new instance and made it default instance which is a crooked way. And now im able to use it as a usual database server with all new sa account and password. Is there any proven better way please add as answer.
Right, when I logged in using a domain account for my database on the SQL Server Reporting Services, it worked absolutely fine, however on another machine I have entered the wrong password by accident and now it will not let me log in again. I've tried clearing the internet cache, stored passwords etc... and still no luck. So currently I am locked out of the report server on a machine.
Is there a way to make it forget so I can login from scratch?
Cheers for any help
Error:

I know they are not insufficient as I use my account on another machine no issues.
Try a different browser first. If that doesn't work, try clearing the stored passwords off your system.
You can refer this.
the login and password works, that's not the issue. please open internet explorer as an administrator (right-click, run as administrator), open http://localhost/Reports/ and check under "site settings" on the top right corner that the permissions are set correctly.
I have Openfire 3.7.1 installed on my Mac and have XAMPP installed aswell. I am having trouble configuring OpenFire. In the server settings I have given san-imac.local.lan as the domain name. The selected Standard database connection and picked MySql Database Driver. This is the databse URL jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/test and given the username password of XAMPP phpmyadmin. But it says
A connection to the database could not be made. View the error message by opening the "/logs/error.log" log file, then go back to fix the problem.
First of all there is no such file in the /logs folder. What should I do to get this working and follow the procedures to get OpenFire up and running.
I need to build an app to connect to openfire for IM chatting like Gmail, Facebook, Yahoo using XMPP. If anybody could provide any guidance aswell, it will be very helpful.
Make Sure that your database is setup correctly including the name of your database, database username, and user's password. If you have this correctly configured then your opens ire should work just fine. Note that it will not accept if the database username has an empty password or not enough access rights to the database.
I hope that those hints will solve your problem.
check your password and username, I had the same error and it took me a while to figure out that I had my username wrong.
Resolved the issue.
log file is not getting created due to file write permission. To resolve this run OF server as follows
Run the openfire.sh file from terminal with sudo. This will start the OF with root access Now the error log file will be created.
My log file has error message as access denied to user #localhost. As I kept the user field blank in db connection page of openfire set up.
Keep the user field as root#localhost if u are using localhost.
I want to setup Mantis in a way that it sends all notifications email to the administrator, even if the administrator is not assigned or monitoring a particular project.
The administrator should get all the emails for all the activity occurring in the system. I tried to configure the Mantis' Email Notifications screen, but I fail to understand how it works.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Penuel
Using version 1.2.6 of Mantis:
login as an administrator
Manage > Manage Configuration > Email Notifications
Check every box under administrator column.
Remember, if $g_email_receive_own = OFF; in config_inc.php, you won't get any emails notifying you of actions you are taking.
