Getting product's tags in Prestashop - prestashop

I'm new to Prestashop and I'm really struggling with it. The lack of a good documentation is a really disadvantage ans sometimes I fell like trying Magento or something like that.
Anyway, I'm trying to make a product page display a info ONLY if that product is tagged with a certain tag. I've searched for about 3 hours all over internet but couldn't find anything that solved this issue.
How can I do it? Could any of you guys please gimme a direction?
BTW, I'm using 1.5
Thanks

if you use prestashop 1.5 you need
//this is your prooduct id that you get it from your url
$id_product=Tools::getValue('id_product');
//the you use it to return all of your tags of this product with this id product
//but this return two array for example: array(array(tags))
$productTags =Tag::getProductTags($id_product);
//add this code return array(tags) ;
$productTags=$productTags[intval(Context::getContext()->cookie->id_lang)];

you can look inside the Product class. For example: Tag::getProductTags($id_product) function

Having trouble creating dynamic SKU's on liquid code in shopify

Hi im having trouble trying to make an img src change number(sku) dynamically based on which product i have selected. - its a bit difficult when i dont have access to the base HTML and only liquid code and templates.
(see screenshot 1)
I need help with creating a codestring that makes the SKU=(number) dynamic - so that it changes the SKU based on what product i have selected on the website.
So that if i select product A it becomes sku=productA
and if i select product B it becomes sku=productB
I hope someone can help.
Kind Regards Alexander
I tried putting in all the SKU's with , in between. and that didnt work
If you are in the product page you should be able to use {{ current_variant.sku }} to dynamically show the SKU in the src.

ebay finding api finditemsbykeywords pagination problem

I tried the following calls:
https://svcs.ebay.com/services/search/FindingService/v1?X-EBAY-SOA-OPERATION-NAME=findItemsByKeywords&SERVICE-VERSION=1.13.0&keywords=waschbecken&RESPONSE-DATA-FORMAT=JSON&GLOBAL-ID=EBAY-DE&outputSelector(0)=ItemSpecifics&paginationInput.entriesPerPage=100&paginationInput.pageNumber=2
then on the ebay API explorer for the post request body,
<findItemsByKeywordsRequest xmlns="http://www.ebay.com/marketplace/search/v1/services">
<keywords>waschbecken</keywords>
<paginationInput>
<entriesPerPage>100</entriesPerPage>
<pageNumber>2</pageNumber>
</paginationInput>
</findItemsByKeywordsRequest>
but I do not get 100 searchResult count per page, in Postman I get 32 searchResult and in API explorer 56; furthermore 2nd page forward I do not get any searchResult count, I am trying to understand is there something wrong that I am writing in the call or there is some another problem or any parameter I am missing.
Thanks for the help.
I am also running into this problem. I am guessing that the pagination results are for the entire store, but not for the search by keywords....Seems like they dropped the ball on this.
Sorry, I did not update on the question, I forgot about it.
The problem was not with the pagination, the problem is the variants.
Simply explained, the output of the query doesn't count for the variants listed on the Ebay search by the same seller. If you have from a same seller the same product with the different variant, the query does not show the variants from those product from the same seller just different variant, as it would if you do an ebay search.
The mechanism of the query is different as that of the product search on Ebay.

Shopify: Filtering collections by custom filter

I'm new with liquid and ruby, but I would like to create a custom filter in a collection, to filter by metafields. I already have:
A dropdown in the collection.liquid, with the values I would like to filter for.
When selecting a filter, it goes to a link like: https://myshop.myshopify.com/collections/my-collection/my-filter . Basically it is like the tags, but with my filter instead
However, since it is a custom filter and not a tag, I get no results. I'm wondering where is the query that displays all the products (or filters) is in the code. I know that it depends on the theme, but I'm using the default theme: launchpad-star.
Not sure if I could do it this way or with a link like: https://myshop.myshopify.com/collections/my-collection?filter_by=my-filter , in which case, I would also need where should the logic go.
I've looked at the forums already and found two closed tickets with no responses: https://ecommerce.shopify.com/c/ecommerce-design/t/using-metafields-to-create-filter-drop-downs-in-collection-liquid-187513 and https://ecommerce.shopify.com/c/ecommerce-design/t/using-metafields-to-create-filter-drop-downs-in-collection-liquid-134401 .
Thanks in advance
Probably not the best solution, but this is what I did to solve the problem:
I changed to the second option of the url, so when a user selects an option in the combobox, it is sent to a URL like: myshop.myshopify.com/collections/my-collection?filter_by=my-filter
In product-grid-item.liquid, I'm getting the metafield value of the product and displaying it as a class, and hide all the products as default. In the collection.liquid I read with javascript the value of the parameter (filter_by) and remove the "hide" class of the products with the value of the filter_by as class, so it gets displayed.
I feel that it is not very clean, but it is working as expected. Problems with this solution:
* Not displaying all the products and then filtering them
* I need to display all the products to avoid pagination, which could be a big problem if I have a lot of products.
If anyone could post a better solution, welcome!.

GetResource, dynamic parent.

my problem is the following. I'm currently making a blog-page with get-page, get-resources, form-it, and wayfinder. This question requires a decent amount of knowledge about Modx and snippits. I've got the page numberin and all working and i've got a template page with all my calls in it (called weblogTemplate). This template has the following wayfinder call in it :
[[!getResources? &parents=`5` &limit=`5` &tpl=`blogPost`]]
[[!getPage?
&elementClass=`modSnippet`
&element=`getResources`
&parents=`4`
&depth=`2`
&limit=`5`
&pageNavOuterTpl=`[[+first]][[+prev]][[+pages]][[+next]][[+last]]`
&pageVarKey=`page`
&pageFirstTpl=`<li class="controlFirst"><a[[+classes]][[+title]] href="[[+href]]">Eerste pagina</a></li>`
&pageLastTpl=`<li class="controlLast"><a[[+classes]][[+title]] href="[[+href]]">Laatste pagina</a></li>`
&pagePrevTpl=`<li class="controlPrev"><a[[+classes]][[+title]] href="[[+href]]"><<</a></li>`
&pageNextTpl=`<li class="controlNext"><a[[+classes]][[+title]] href="[[+href]]">>></a></li>`
&includeTVs=`1`
&includeContent=`1`
&tpl=`blogListPost`
]]
as you can see the parent is set here to id number 5. This is fine for the homepage but any child page connected in the blog page also uses the same template and so would also have the same menu as the parent. You could use a fix to simply create 1 template for a page and keep using a different getResource call but keep in mind that it is a blog im making, new pages keep getting added. The user can't (, and wouldn't even understand to) make a template and edit any code. A solution i thought of would be to make the parent id dynamic, so it adjust to whatever page it is currently on. So for example if it was on the page with id number 12 it would make the parent call set to 12 and so show all the content under id number 12. If anyone has any ideas / thoughts / solutions i would be very grateful to hear them.
(a link about wayfinder that i used.)
The best solution would be to use two templates - one for main and one for the blog pages and use in blog templates:
&parents=`[[*id]]`
The problem with the user solveds by setting default_template in the system settings.
This worked for me:
[[!getPage?
&elementClass=`modSnippet`
&element=`getResources`
&parents=`[[*id]]`
&depth=`0`
&limit=`10`
&pageNavOuterTpl=`[[+first]][[+prev]][[+pages]][[+next]][[+last]]`
&pageVarKey=`page`
&pageFirstTpl=`<li class="controlFirst"><a[[+classes]][[+title]] href="[[+href]]">Eerste pagina</a></li>`
&pageLastTpl=`<li class="controlLast"><a[[+classes]][[+title]] href="[[+href]]">Laatste pagina</a></li>`
&pagePrevTpl=`<li class="controlPrev"><a[[+classes]][[+title]] href="[[+href]]"><<</a></li>`
&pageNextTpl=`<li class="controlNext"><a[[+classes]][[+title]] href="[[+href]]">>></a></li>`
&includeTVs=`1`
&includeContent=`1`
&tpl=`blogListPost`
]]

Magento API creates simple product correct -> but afterwards tells "101 Product not exists"

I try to add some pictures to a simple product, which was created (without error) by the API. The product is shown in frontend its functional with all wanted attributes. But if I check afterwards
$client->call($sessionId, 'product.info', '123456');
I get Soap Error: "101: Product doesn't exists". But its definitivly reachable over back- and frontend. (Cache cleared, Index refreshed)
Same issue, when I try to add media informations. On Confugurable Products the error don't show up and the pictures are added whithout any problems.
Maybe I messed something up with the attributes or the attribut sets... I don't know, where to watch first.
I'm at my php’s end!
Using Magento 1.6.0.0
Thank your for clarify me.
Best regards.
Since the ame API function ("product.info" in this case) receive as a parameter both SKU and ID, there is a problem if your are looking for SKU's which is numeric values.
To avoid this problem, we always adding space to the end of SKU before sending it to the API. For example, if your SKU is "123456" you should send "123456 " to the API.
Have you tried this call with your product id instead of the sku? I had some problems in the past with product calls and the sku.
I've installed 2 magentos and we always use numeric SKUs and I've always had this problem.
I've solved it by modifying the file:
app/code/core/Mage/Catalog/Model/Api/Resource.php
About line 122 that reads:
$product = Mage::helper('catalog/product')->getProduct($productId, $this->_getStoreId($store), $identifierType);
I've changed it to:
$product = Mage::helper('catalog/product')->getProduct($productId, $this->_getStoreId($store), 'sku');
This way the function always expects an SKU.
