How to port a compiled code for Maemo 5 into Symbian Anna devices? - symbian

I've compiled code of Maemo 5. How would I port it to Symbian Anna device? How do I compile the same code for Symbian Anna device? Any hints/articles related to it would be helpful.

In short - rewrite it in Symbian or Qt.

Tools for A9G GPRS+GPS Module of chinese AI thinker

The link for downloading Windows tools is dead.
https://github.com/Ai-Thinker-Open/GPRS_CSDTK
And I tried to build it on ubuntu 16 follow this link
https://ai-thinker-open.github.io/GPRS_C_SDK_DOC/en/c-sdk/installation_linux.html
But there is no option for 8955 chip in CoolWatcher burner. It just has 8808, 8808s, 8809, 8810, 8810-AP, Gallite-8805, Gallite-8806.
So can I add 8955 into CoolWatcher manually? What are the good alternative GPS module which have tools to change the firmware directly? Did chinese AI thinker company dead?
Thanks!

very old CPU INTEL 8086 + 8087 EMBEDDED system Intel IC-86 Compiler

It was old challenge for me but I have succeed to build my own embedded system based on a 80188 INTEL ( like 8086). I am using the compiler C 4.5 from Intel. As I want to go further I would like to integrate the 8087 coprocessor.
This technology is older that 40 years...
Before spending time to wire the 8087 on by board I am trying to use the 8087 emulator given by the compiler. IC-86 version 4.5 from INTEL.
I cannot find the way to link the E87.lib and relocate the library in my project.
Does someone could share examples of link/relocate using a 8087 on an embedded system?
Sounds that the libraries given for the 8087 can't be relocated in the 20-bits addresses?

libspotify Windows 8 RT ARM

Will there be an ARM version of libspotify released for Windows 8 RT developers?
Libspotify
Unfortunately, at the moment there's no answer to that question. We're aware of the need for one, though, and it's something we're investigating.
I've built despotify on several architectures that lacks official Spotify support (Linux PPC, Linux ARM etc), perhaps that is something that could give you a jumpstart until the proprietary library is released.

Is it possible to emulate Windows 8 for ARM?

I have a few programs I'd really like to test on Windows 8 for ARM. I don't have any Windows 8 ARM hardware though. Is it possible to install Windows 8 in some kind of ARM emulator or some such?
Yes, I know that if it compiles on WinRT it is suppose to "just work", but I'd really like to test it not only to see if it works, but also relative performance(as much can be guessed from an emulator)
There is no way, how to start you x86 PC in an "ARM mode", or launch Simulator in ARM mode. WinRT was designed to bridge the differences or these platforms so you don't need to worry about it and you can just develop. All I can think of right now is try to contact local Microsoft representative in your area - if they have any ARM tablet for testing, they might help you in this, but again if your app is not really flawed or computing power demanding, don't worry about the ARM platform :)
This now appears to be sorta possible (haven't tested yet) with the new App Ceritification Kit for WinRT, which appears to include ARM emulation.
EDIT: This isn't an emulator, it will only run on an ARM WinRT device. I guess there is no ARM emulator, despite that page mentioning ARM and emulation

compiling objective-c code for ios app on Windows

I know objective-c code can be compilied on Windows by gnuStep. GnuStep clone most of the apple libraries but not all. So I am looking smart way find the remaining class since I assume using apple library on other os might be against the apple's licence.(Please don't aswer saying buy mac or wmvare solutions).
Thanks.
For iOS you depend on apple's frameworks (Cocoa Touch et al). They are only available on Mac OS X.
While it is possible, to run OS X on PCs (search for "Hackingtosh"), apple forbids to run it on non-apple hardware in its EULA.
