Is j2me nokia API is working with other mobile or not? - api

I'm developing mobile application in j2me. My target phone is "Nokia". In my app I'm using some Nokia API's .Now the requirements change, so that many other target devices than Nokia are also included. Here my doubt is if, on other phones, the mobile app developed with Nokia API is working or not. Please share your ideas.

It wont work, you might get ClassNotFoundException after running the midlet on different devices. Nokia UI library will residing be in Nokia mobile OS.
I haven't tried but if you can add the Nokia UI jar in your project as library and then try it on other devices. I will also try it. But i guess some of the api's will be having hardware dependency like sound etc..

compatibility devices for google play services

i wanna test my game that uses google play services api(for realtime multiplayer). But i don´t have an android phone or tablet, i only use the emulator.
Is there a specific model of phone that i should buy to use google play services or will it work on any android device?
On emulators, there´s a "target name" called google APIS, so i was wondering about the device.
I have already made my game work on emulators, but even of ButtonClicker example, there´s a delay on the timer on one of the emulators and not on the other. Maybe i should try with a real device?
It will work on any Android phone (not Android compatible). Avoid devices like the Kindle Fire that are compatible, but not actually Android. If it has the Google Play app and it's running Ice Cream Sandwich or higher, you should be set.
The Nexus devices tend to be developer favorites, as they have no customization from carriers or manufacturers and are fairly cheap. Developer Editions would be a good alternative.

Windows Phone development

I want to develop a softphone application for Mobile Phone platform (Mobile phones using Windows Mobile 7.1 or Higher) that is independent from the PBX, so that it can works with Asterisk, Askozia , 3CX, and any other kind of VoIP PBX, without the need to put other software inside and/or PBX. I know that this kind of applications exists, since I used it on other platforms, like 3CX client or BRIA client, both for iOS. I have all Microsoft tools and sdk needed to build that kind of applications, correctly configured and working. I already built other apps for Mobile Phone platform.
I had found a free trial version of Ozeki VoIP SIP SDK and I downloaded the latest version of the library from http://voip-sip-sdk.com/p_21-download-ozeki-voip-sip-sdk-voip.html and installed it. While I was easily able to build the sample softphone projects, I didn't understand how to build a softphone for mobile phones. Since I saw that softphone related class are in VoIPSDK.dll, I also tried to add reference to VoIPSDK.dll in Windows Phone Project, but Visual Studio gives an error complaining about "unsupported library".
So, what I need to now, since this is our main purpose, is it possible with this library to build a softphone for mobile platforms? In case, may I have a sample or the instruction on how to use Ozeki SDK library on these platforms? Maybe, I should create another application (the mediagateway) that should sit between the pbx and the mobile phone app. Have you got any experience with this library and mobile applications?

Envoirnment:VS2008/.net 3.5
I am new to mobile web application development. I want to know how to start ,what are the frameworks i should know/download,sample websites or articles..
Thanks,

If you want to create web applications for mobile devices using microsoft technologies check out this site:
http://www.asp.net/mobile
It has simple how-to.....
If you're going to invest in a new skill, I'd focus on iPhone and Android development - they're far more widespread than windows mobile.

Is there any way to control nokia e90 or other phones from computer?

I am trying to develop programs which will work for nokia mobile phones.
I have E90 and want to control it over my computer.
Or i want to test programs with emulator.
Do you know is there any way to do this?
Testing with emulator is not good. Why don't you try out DeviceAnywhere OR Perfecto Mobile Testing Platform. They both allow testing of applications on REAL devices through web. You can create a trial account and test your application.

How can a FlashLite Developer using Device Central emulate camera and file upload integration?

I am developing an application with Flash Lite designed to run on Nokia S60 5th edition phones using the Flash Lite API Bridge Interface. The application uses the API Bridge to access the phones camera and upload functionality to take a photo, display it to the user then upload it to a server. I am using Flash CS4 Professional and Device Central to develop and test the interface.
Are there any emulators that will run my flash lite app and simulate the camera? What are my options short of getting a phone and installing my app every time I want to test something new?
"Remote Device Access also known as RDA allows developers to test their applications on a variety of Symbian based Nokia devices remotely over the Internet. The current setups consist of over 40 devices and various device models. Usage is free of charge for all Forum Nokia members."
