How to make cpanel send an e-mail when disk usage goes over quota? - cpanel

I am hosting a few websites on a hosting account with 6 GB of space. The websites occupy only about 700 MB. But I have some plugins with various troubles generating error_log files that can get pretty big.
The last error_log had 4 GB and my quota jumped over a few days ago.
So is there a way to make cpanel send me an e-mail when quota goes over a set value?
Should I made a cron job for that?

I hope this is what you are looking for...
In cPanel on Contact Information & Preferences you can setup an email and then check "Send notifications to your contact email address when you are reaching your disk quota."

FAILED_RATE_LIMITED - Google managed SSL certificate

It's been stuck on this status for over a day and I'm unable to successfully provision a new managed SSL certificate (to attach to a load balancer)
Google docs say to contact support but we're not on any role / plan (small company), does anyone know if this limit resets after certain period of time? Or a way for customers without a support plan to resolve?
Using terraform to deploy a complete web application if that helps, this includes all the load balancer parts, managed instance group, template, ssl policy etc, I would destroy and bring up the entire project to ensure I haven't missed any settings, but after a few re-deployments I trigger this rate limit :(
Try again after a full day has passed, getting worried this is not resolvable without paying for a support plan?
note that the Google managed SSL certificates are based on Let’s Encrypt
Let’s Encrypt provides rate limits to ensure fair usage, the main limit is Certificates per Registered Domain (50 per week).
The Failed Validation have a limit of 5 failures per account, per hostname, per hour. You can use the Staging Environment to increase the limit to 60 fails per hour if you need more flexibility.
As you can see in the Creating and Using SSL Certificates this error means that you may temporarily be rate-limited and you do need to contact with Google to discuss your limit.
If you want to contact GCP support you can always try the Free tier. Then if you are happy with the support and you need it you can get a paid support after ending the free trial.
If you don’t want to use this way to contact with google you can always try to get some visibility to your issue using the Report Issue with Issue Tracker

How to ignore Cloudflare for my uploader?

On my site I upload media files. My uploader chunks these uploads into smaller sized files and once the upload is completed, the original will be created by merging the chunks.
The issue I run into is that when Cloudflare is enabled, the chunking request takes an awful long amount of time. An example is displayed here: http://testnow.ga
Every uploaded 5mb it chunks the file. This process saves the downloaded file on the server, then sends an AJAX request to the client and another 5mb upload request starts. The waiting (TTFB) in this particular case ranges anywhere from 2-10 seconds. Now, when the chunk size is 50mb for example, the waiting can be up to two minutes.
How can I speed up this process with Cloudflare? How can I ignore that specific /upload URL to not talk to Cloudflare?
Ps: the reason I'm not asking at Cloudflare is because I did a week ago and again a few days ago and haven't gotten a response yet. Thanks!
One option is to use a subdomain to submit the data to. At cloudflare, greycloud that dns entry. Then data is sent directly to your server bypassing cloudflare.

Interworx website backup - in between angry client and angry host - Im the meat?

I have been contacted today by someone who is wanting to restore his website.
Long story short, host cancelled and deleted his account. He has a backup from a few weeks ago which will do fine. it is a interworx backup (i-worx). I dont have access to interworx control panel but I would like to extract the files and ftp them up to another host for this customer.
Can it be done without the interworx cpanel? Anyone know how I can achieve this?
Cheers
It's most likely a compressed tar so you should be able to extract it and manually move over all the data.

Where Can I get a Web Server or File Share Server?

I'm trying to publish my program so that it can get updates and am told I have to publish my changes to a web server or file share server, but I have no idea about how I can go about getting one...are there free ones that will perform what I need to accomplish?
Ok, I don't know what to do and comments seem to go ignored.
I've tried setting the publish location to sites.google.com/site/mysite.com/filecabinetpage/PQCMFILES
and I got an error saying I needed "Front Page Server Extension Capabilities".
I tried setting it to http://productivityquotient.hostzi.com/PQCMFILES/ and it told me:
Error 1 Failed to connect to 'http://productivityquotient.hostzi.com/PQCMFILES/' with the following error: Unable to create the Web site 'http://productivityquotient.hostzi.com/PQCMFILES'. An error occurred accessing your site configuration files. Authors - if authoring against a web server, please contact the webmaster for this server's site. I tried setting it to a directory on the microsoft site and it said: "unable to create directory. files moved" or something like that.
I can't host it on an ftp server if I intend to use the updates feature and I don't know what to do...
Maybe Microsoft's free web hosting will allow you to do this.
000webhost.com is actually a pretty reliable host, with decent and free advertisement-free hosting. It also supports typical web server things such as FTP access, cpanel and e-mail accounts.
Their limit on free hosting is basically low disk space (1.5 GB) and bandwidth (100 GB/mo) and some minor content restriction. If that seems fine for you, then I highly recommend it. Even on free accounts, their ticket response time is blazing.
NearlyFreeSpeech, while not free, lets you host your application on a pay as you go plan. There are free web-hosts, but most lack the features of costies, such as FTP access.
