I am using drupal databas ein one of my application. Drupal profile saves date in following format:
a:3:{s:5:"month";s:1:"2";s:3:"day";s:2:"18";s:4:"year";s:4:"1995";}
I can read this with data reader but how to convert in a proper display like DD/MM/YYYY or YYYY/MM/DD
Well, you can kind of see the values for month, day and year in that zany string. Presumably there is something in VB that can help you parse and glue together the string as you need it?
You might look into how PHP's unserialize() works, that will reformat the string to a more usable array.
Most of all, dont use profile, use content_profile and cck. Problem solved. Unserializing PHP serialization can get a bit hairy.

In my BQ database table I have a column called payload which contains raw facebook webhooks JSON payloads as string. One of them contains a text with an emoji like Sample 🏦. In big query it look like
{"object":"page","entry":[{"id":"xxxx","time":1602757469275,"messaging":[{"sender":{"id":"xxxx"},"recipient":{"id":"xxxx"},"timestamp":1602757469062,"message":{"mid":"m_xxxx","text":"Sample \ud83c\udfe6","quick_reply":{"payload":"{\"key\": \"value\"}"},"tags":{"source":"source"}}}]}]}
I would like to create a view with a column text with extracted text field value from the raw json. I created an sql like
SELECT
JSON_EXTRACT_SCALAR(payload, '$.entry[0].messaging[0].message.text') as text,
FROM `my_table.facebook.webhook_received`
Sadly the result I get looks like that Sample
Does anyone know how to make big query decode the emoji properly or at least just not change it to those signs ?
Those characters you have embedded are not for a bank icon which is your issue I believe.
Run the following in BQ and it returns the desired emoji:
select " Sample \U0001f3e6"
Ref:https://emojipedia.org/bank/
The two you have provided seem to default to the '?', invalid character

edit: what ever is handling the message maybe throwing the encodings you're seeing in your message which may be the actual problem.
If you are using BigQuery Python client and its load_table_from_json method, there is a Unicode bug (especially its byte is over 0xFFFF, like 🏦) in the previous version, and I have submitted this bug fix which is already included in the latest release include it, https://github.com/googleapis/python-bigquery/releases/tag/v2.24.0. By the way, you should use \U0001F3E6, not \ud83c\udfe6 (UTF-16 hex type) to present 🏦 in your Python code with BigQuery.

I'm a DNN beginner. I am currently building a module in which I can display statistics. My DotNetNuke Version is 7.0. The statistic is from Chartjs. For this statistic I would like to implement filters. These filters should be datepickers. As UI element I have now included a textbox with TextMode='Date'. But currently I have problems to set the default value of this field. The default value should be 01.01. of the current year.
I have already tried to set the value via C# server side. Unfortunately without success. I also tried to set the value on the client side via JavaScript. Unfortunately also without success.
These are some lines I tried in JavaScript:
document.getElementById(<%= this.DatumVon.AccessKey %>).value = "01.01.2019";
document.getElementById(<%= this.DatumVon.AccessKey %>).innerText = "01.01.2019";
document.getElementById("DatumVon").value = "01.01.2019";
These are some lines I tried in C# in the method "Page_Load" (server side):
this.DatumVon.Text = "01.01.2019";
I expected the value of the TextBox to be 01.01.2019. However, it currently only contains dd.mmm.yyyy. How can I change this?
Thank you.
There is something wrong with your localization. Please refer to the jQuery UI datepicker documentation (the "Localization" section), this should give you the answer.
wow... I solved it. I made it. Sometimes the solution is right in front of you and you don't see it. Michael Tobisch was absolutely right. When setting the value, the format is very important. I have always used the German format. A DNN TextBox with TextMode="Date" can't handle that. DNN converts this TextBox into an HTML input field. But this input field can only be clear with the format "yyyy-mm-dd". Depending on the geographical position of the client (at least that's what I think) the text displayed in the input field will be formatted. But the value of the input field always has the same format ("yyyy-mm-dd"). So very important here: the displayed text and the actual value have different formats.
Many thanks again to Michael Tobisch for the mental inspiration and the patience with me.
What is also important is that the access to the actual ID of a DNN element works as follows: this.Element.ClientID and not as I assumed before this.Element.AccessKey. This was also buggy.
I am working on server side application of FB login.
Having converted the example here:
https://developers.facebook.com/docs/authentication/server-side/
To VB, and using System.Net.WebRequest.Create to retrieve the responses I am now able to get a text string including the access_token and the expiry time in the following format:
access_token=ACCESS&expires=2577
Obviously I can split this into an array and split the parts to get the access_token
But, on the FB Developers example above, they do it with PHP like so:
$params['access_token'];
Is there a VB.net way of doing this? This seems more reliable to me than teh aforementioned splitting idea, ie, if FB change the output format.
You can use HttpUtility.ParseQueryString to parse a query string. If you're not using ASP.NET, you should add a reference to System.Web.dll. I also don't believe this will work in .NET 4 client profile.
Imports System.Web
Imports System.Collections.Specialized
Dim qString As NameValueCollection = HttpUtility.ParseQueryString("var1=val1&var2=val2")
I've seen a couple of posts doing the reverse for mysql, but I'm looking for a way to change a unix timestamp to a human readable date (ideally one I can change the format of) and I haven't been able to find anything so far.
I'm storing a date pulled from an XML feed, via NokoGiri (in Rails 3.1.1) as part of a hash:
'date' => i.xpath('#unix-timestamp')
which gets the number fine, but how the devil do you make this DD-MM-YYYY to be put in one of my views?
I've tried Time.at( (i.xpath('#unix-timestamp') ) to no avail; I just get the error 'can't convert Nokogiri::XML::NodeSet into an exact number' and now I've hit a wall
Much gratitude for any help!
Time.at is definitely a call that should work to convert from epoch time to a ruby Time object (see here for an example). So it seems like you need to work on converting your XML result into something more usable. I think you want to try using NodeSet#text to get a string output, then converting that to an integer:
Time.at(i.xpath('#unix-timestamp').text.to_i)
There's a decent but basic tutorial for NokoGiri in the Engineyard blog
You can use like : DateTime.strptime("1373210218",'%s')
and also Time.at(1373210218).strftime("%B %e, %Y at %I:%M %p")
I am trying to format dates in an HTML cfgrid. I cannot seem to make it work in CF when using HTML as the grid type. I have also tried doing it in MSSQL by using - CONVERT(VARCHAR(10), startDate, 101) AS startDate.
When I do that it shows up right in the grid but the grid will not sort on the date properly.
I understand why converting it to varchar screws up the sort but I cannot seem to make this work in either CF or SQL.
Anyone know of a way to make it show up in the grid in a mm/dd/yyyy format and also sort on the date properly?
Ability to use the mask attribute in html grids was added in CF9. To get it to work on dates you also have to specify type=date
<cfgridcolumn mask="m/d/Y" type="date" ... >
If you are using an html cfgrid, you need to use the formats found in the Ext JS Date class. NOT the date format for Flash.
Here is a link to the Ext JS Date class
<cfgridcolumn ... mask="mm/dd/yy">
