problem in running program after building in vb.net - vb.net

i have developed a small application and was working fine on developing machine but when i installed it on another computer and double click on it to start it starts and after splash screen it gives don't send error [ an error occured ] and getting closed ..... how can i fix that....is there any extension missing or there is any other problem...

You have to create a Setup and Deployment project. You have to use to Install and Run the project.

You are probably missing 3rd party assemblies. As Shoban suggested, create a setup project (ClickOnce perhaps) and make sure all the required 3rd party and yours assemblies are included.

You might like to consider including a user friendly exception handler in your project. This will provide you with better information when something unexpected happens to your program.
See this article written by Jeff Atwood about exception handling.

WinUI3 Microsoft.UI.XAML.dll "Source Code Not Available" error on Debug

My app builds fine. Attempting to start it in debug mode, however, causes this error. This appeared after I solved an error relating to missing "debug symbols" similar to the one here (enabling the remote symbol servers in the options and then building caused this error to appear instead - this behavior persisted even after turning off the remote symbol servers in the options again).
I am using WinUI3 project on Visual Studio 2022 on Windows 11.
This post seems to suggest the issue was using WPF - but I am not using WPF. I also see a potentially similar issue here, but there appear to be no answers.
I am not sure where to even begin fixing this - it seems to be a Visual Studio issue or a project/solution config issue rather than a code issue. Any ideas?
I fixed it. I was looking at the output in the Visual Studio Console (after stopping the app once the error mentioned in the question happened), and I saw this:
Exception thrown at 0x00007FFD41D4466C (KernelBase.dll) in EmailClient.exe: WinRT originate error - 0x80004005 : 'WinUI: Error creating second Desktop Window on the current process. No more than one Desktop Window is allowed per process.'. onecore\com\combase\winrt\error\restrictederror.cpp(1017)\combase.dll!00007FFD43EAA21E: (caller: 00007FFD43D9A2F3) ReturnHr(2) tid(5e98) 8007007E The specified module could not be found.
I then searched through my project, and found out I was calling new MainWindow() one place in my project outside of the App.xaml.cs when initializing a property. I removed that (initializing the property to null instead), and now the app works fine. Not sure how the two are related... but this may be an unexpected behavior caused by attempting to create multiple windows on the same process. Here is someone else who had the same issue.
If your intention is to create multiple windows (mine was not) and you want to know how, then see this thread (a few months out-of-date... not sure if the mentioned features are still in preview or not as of time of posting).

How to make expandable list for Windows10 Universal App?

I am newbie to windows universal app development and I need an expadable list. In the past I did it with WPToolkit for Windows Phone 8 but I read that it is not available for UWP. I see ExpanderRT project and tried to use it but I couldn't be successfull. I add Shared project of ExpanderRT as an existing project to my solution and use as in the screenshot. Now I'm taking the namespace error.
I have a time limit. I need fast and easy working soluton for expandable list. Thank you all for your help.
[UPDATE]
I tried https://github.com/brendankowitz/ZeroProximity.Accordion as #Osman said. But I'm not sure if it is the right decision. Because I see the expandable list and it works but project build throw error as in the screenshot below. I install it via nuget. It wasn't installed in the first place. I run as a administrator and changed project.json 's Copy to Output Directory value to Copy always. Then it was installed.
So my questions; Is this error important? Will it create problems when I want to put the app on store? I don't know how to act to this error, please help!

You can use the library given in the link above. I used it on our UWP project. It works great.
Hope this helps,

Can't use background task in Windows Phone 8.1 (the ID_CAP_NETWORKING required, but it's included in the manifest)

I need to update my Windows Phone application tile by downloading and parsing JSON. So I'm using Microsoft HTTP Client Libraries.
And I've always got the exception Use of networking APIs requires the ID_CAP_NETWORKING capability to be defined in the application manifest when I'm trying to debug background task.
But my manifest included ID_CAP_NETWORKING as required (screenshot https://fbcdn-sphotos-e-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xaf1/t31.0-8/10750111_821340111262044_6461333323674658178_o.jpg).
I don't know what to do. I tried rebuild or recreate the app, but this didn't help. Also I can't find any documentation or an answer on the internet.
Can you please write, what can I do to solve this problem?
This is demo project http://1drv.ms/1yjHm49 with reproduced problem (project's name is 'Meduza. Windows Phone').
I debug my application on Lumia 720 (if it can help).
I re-downloaded your project and now I get your error. So I thought, I must of done something before launching your project that fixed it.
It took me while, but I can get your project to work by doing this
Unzip project to directory
Open Project
Clean Project
Add Internet (Client and Server) in Package.appxmanifest file (make sure you save it before exiting)
Put the break points in your background task
And it works. So a combination of Clean Build + editing the Package.appxmanifest did the trick for me.

Other people can't run EAZFuscated programs that I've made

I've did research and still can't figure this out, but I know the problem. The problem is that Eazfuscator isn't installed on other peoples pc, but how would I get them to run it without getting this error, and without them installing eazfuscator? Or should I use another one?
Error when running protected application:
This application has been built with an evaluation version of Eazfuscator.NET, and therefore cannot be distributed. You can install Eazfuscator.NET on this computer to be able to run this application.
You need to purchase a developers license plain and simple. Until then they will see this message. When you get the license and compile the application this wont happen...

Code build in Mac 10.4.4 is not working in 10.3.9?

I have build cocoa application in 10.4.4 using (mac10.3.9sdk xcode version:2.2.1,universal binary), but when im trying to invoke the application in 10.3.9 the application is not getting invoked.
Can you please tell me what would be the probable mistakes or reasons of its not getting invoked???or How can i trouble shoot the issue?
which version of xcode should i use in 10.3.9 so that i can debug the code, can someone please provide the corresponding link?
The runtime failure could be for any number of reasons: missing libraries or frameworks, compiled with the wrong settings etc.
Probably your first port of call should be console.app if you are trying to run this on another machine that does not have the development tools installed. It will probably give you some clues as to why the application isn't starting up.
