I have done with red5 server installation.everything works fine in server installation..all the demo red5 applications are working perfectly. but I'm getting problem with red5-recorder..I'm getting an ERROR:could not connect to the server rtmp://127.0.0.1 ..Is there any other modification I have to do in the code?
ERROR:could not connect to the server rtmp://127.0.0.1 is caused by
if(Application.application.parameters.server!=null) myRecorder.server= Application.application.parameters.server;
which defaults to nc.connect(myRecorder.server) which returns 127.0.0.1/red5recorder
In order to get around this, you can pass along the server= FlashVar.
Edit red5recorder.html and add this in the appropriate place (after line #91):
"FlashVars", "server=rtmp://your.external.server.ip/red5recorder"
This is because the swf is downloaded and run client side, and needs to connect to your server's RTMP service. It can't connect to 127.0.0.1/red5recorder because that's your PC. This is why you set the server= paramerter. :-)
I hope that helps.
I created a new web app for Red5Recorder as indicates here with the name "red5recorder" because that's the name the recorder use to comunicate with. (see the Recorder.as file in the sources) and after restarted the server it started to work. The output file called "video.flv" is in the streams/ subdirectory.
I hope this helps you.

Our ServiceNOW instance recently got upgraded from Eureka to Geneva.
MID Server status became down and the version does not match the Build number in the stats.
I was told that the MID Server will auto upgrade which didn't happened. I am using a proxy server to connect, when I tried communicating with the instance through the server it is working however I assume the service or application installed is not able to communicate with the instance.
I created a new service and it worked perfectly for 1 min however after that the status of it became down.
Then I tried changing the configurations of old services however no good.
Now the services are running fine however in the config file in the mid_sys_id section mid server details not getting populated and the status of the MID Server in the instance is always down.
Do I need to change any properties in the instance?
Since I use proxy server do I need to remove the comment line of the auto upgrade through proxy section or can I leave that blank?
What is the issue here? Why my MID Server is not getting upgraded? Kindly help me.. If possible an explanation with screen shot would be much appreciated.
If you're on Geneva, you should be able to simply go to your MIDServer listing, from inside your instance, click on a MIDServer, and find 'Upgrade MID' in the Related links section. That should start an upgrade for that MID Server. If it fails, there should be an entry in either the ServiceNow logs or the MID Server logs with more information why it failed.
I have dowloaded latest version of genymotion with proxy server 2.2.2 and while connecting i am getting invalid reply from server (do you use a proxy?). I am not using proxy for sure. Any ideas?
Answer, its all about the http proxy server on the genymotion settings just UNCHECK on the genymotion setting or remover the http proxy server by UN-ticking the ability to enter HTTP PROXY and PORT let it be blank by unckecking hence login your credentials, if it doesn't work try confirming you email with genymotion.
In my case I went to Settings > Network > I checked "Use HTTP Proxy" and I filled the Http Proxy and port fields (with company proxy valid values).
After that I connect smoothly as silk.
I had the same problem in ubuntu and after some struggle when i was almost giving up i stop the docker (had one instance running in port 3337 in my PC) and for my surprise it's finally work.
I had a similar issue (invalid reply from server without Proxy, on a highly customized and quite broken ubuntu 16.04). nothing of the above helped. (seemingly)
Then I visited this site:
http://qaru.site/questions/835901/genymotion-stuck-on-splash-screen
(well, you have to let google translate it, if you are not russian)
the error described there is completely different. (computer crash resulting in different networking issues)
but it had one thing in common with my case:
everything worked fine, and then suddenly: SOME NETWORKING ERROR - without reason
well, for me, the solution was the same as described on the russian page:
removing a (corrupted?!) conf file.
the conf file was at (my home folder)/.config/Genymobile/Genymotion.conf
i deleted it (i had to do it with root, because the file was owned by root, but this might have been the case because i messed a bit with genymotion...)
Then, i restarted genymotion and logged in again and it worked like a charm.
I had to allow Genymtion.exe in windows firewall. I'm using v3
Had the same problem, managed it using a VPN.
I have some problem and trying to solve for a few days..
I installed iis 6.0 but I updated it 7.5 express and 7.0. it looks 7.5 version..
so, I published wcf to localhost and set 4501 port. I can see file when I run iis http://localhost:4501/
but svc file doesnt work. When I click or type http://localhost:4501/Products.svc it doesnt work and I see a blank website.. nothing..
But If I run svc client in visual studio, asp.net development server works and my svc file works.. (http://localhost:4501/Products.svc) everything is same..
I dont understand why IIS doesnt work well?
I think that 6.0 doesnt support .. I use a proxy and I can connect to my global ip with proxy or my friend opens it.. but still svc file doesnt work..
I think the problem is iis.. but a global side, asp.net development server doesnt work too, but it works on localhost..
I opened all ports, add some new rule to firewall and i closed firewall (modem and computer)
I really become a crazy..
Edit: I try to connect ip with http://myGlobaLIp:4501 I can see my files on my localhost but If I try http://myGlobalIp:4501/Products.svc I get blank page..
Here is your issue: when you run from Visual Studio it automatically runs a virtual IIS for you, and assigns the ip/port...in this case it's http://localhost:4501/. When you setup the site and run it in IIS, you have to set those values during the website setup.
You need to create a website in IIS, then point to your code (publish it to a location like c:\inetpub\wwwroot\myapp)
You then need to set which port your webservice should run on.
THEN, go to http://{your ip or machine name}:{port configured in IIS, not the VS virtual IIS port}/Products.svc
Here is a step-by-step walk through from Microsoft to help you deploy a website (or wcf webservice): http://technet.microsoft.com/en-US/library/f6c26eb7-ad7e-4fe2-9239-9f5aa4ff44ce.aspx
good luck
I'm having issues with using the following format using WinSCP
open sftp://user:password#site.com
vs. this, which works with the console and GUI:
open sftp.site.com.
I would like to automate logging in through the command line but when I try with sftp://user:password#site.com I get a timeout.
Any ideas?
It works fine for me both ways. Is the problem that you are using site.com instead of sftp.site.com in your first example?
Just because you specify the protocol sftp, doesn't mean it will attempt to connect to sftp.site.com when you provide site.com as the host. You still need the full hostname, the sftp:// just tells it what protocol you want to speak once connected.
I have tried for days now trying to find the right version of red5phone, but to no avail. Also, I need red5 and asterisk to be on different servers. I have followed all instructions described in the various tutorials on web, but nothing helps. I have downloaded 2 different versions of red5phone: sip1, sip_47 from the red5phone google code site, but none of them worked!
When I use:
a) sip1 - shows the correct parameters being passed on the red5 server console, but connection is stuck up with the console displaying the following error:
[NioProcessor-1] ERROR o.r.server.service.ServiceInvoker - Method login with parameters [<sip user>, <sip user>,<sip user>,<sip user pwd>, <asterisk server i/p>, <asterisk server i/p>] not found in org.red5.server.webapp.sip.Application#2d0c94a7
b) sip47 - when I type in the values in the flex interface and check the red5 server console, I see all parameters correct(the ones I passed) except for asterisk server ip that i m trying to connect. Instead, it shows 127.0.0.1 by default and completely ignores the passed ip and regsitration fails.
I am using:
red5 server version: 0.9.1, centos: 4.8(final), red5phone used: sip_47 (tried sip1 as well)
As a desperate measure I tried debugging the source code for red5phone (java and flex files) myself. but when I try to create the environment on my local system, I get several compile errors for missing java packages such as javax.media, org.slf4j, org.red5, etc. really confused and desperate for some guidance. Any tips highly appreciated.
Sunil, I'm also new to this, I would try red5-voicebridge installed in your red5 server.
red5-voicebridge Please let me know if you got it to work.
